He also charged about $60 to repair 2 pairs of dress shoes, including replacing the rubber heel covers for both shoes and also doing some repairs on the sole (without needing to re-sole). He seems like an honest and hardworking individual and I will be going back to him for any future shoe repair needs.

The top leather was fine as was the heel. I loved these comfortable shoes enough to spend the money and I spent $60.00 to have the soles covered by a professional shoe repairman. The shoes were supposed to be ready November 15th, I called several times and they were not complete. I called again yesterday and finally got a TXT today - they are ready!!! 2.5 months later. So Ken and drove the hour and a half to go get them. Here they are. The shop women said if they had covered the whole sole it would have been over $100. I told her if I had known this would be the finished product I would never have spent the $60. How unprofessional - how disappointing. I'm crushed that my favorite shoes were damaged like this and at a store that's supposed to fix shoes!!
