On January 12th from around 6:30-7:20 I was in this store shopping around, talking on the phone and just looking around when I noticed 2 employees seemingly following me around and talking on their headsets. I watched the woman talk on the headset while looking directly at me. I used to work in retail so I know how it works. Y'all saw me in my hoodie and assumed I was stealing. I don't appreciate this at all as I frequent this TJ Maxx quite often given that it's a 15 minute walk from my home. I've never ever had this problem before coming here and it has turned me off completely from this store. To the wide Indian lady with the wobble and the short lady with the bun.... Watch who you profile. Y'all are almost just as brown as I am. I'll probably start driving to chamblee for my needs because I love TJ Maxx and its sister stores but I refuse to be profiled in a place where I am spending my money. read more

Great location, good variety of items. Fairly stocked and neat store, the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. I would visit this store just for how cheerful and positive the store environment is and that's because of their staff. There is ample of parking in this plaza, easy access from the freeway and lots of other businesses in the same plaza. The prices are moderate but has great finds from time to time. read more

Great location and conveniently close to my work! Perfect whenever I get to work early and need some time to burn. They have a great variety of items. It was very organized and stocked evenly as well. The staff that was restocking were quiet and focused but any other staff that had to directly talk to customers were very charming. The dressing room attendant and cashier really made my experience wonderful. They had tons of parking spots so I didn't have trouble finding a place to park, and I was pleasantly surprised to find such amazing designer pieces in their runway section. Overall I got some very beautiful dresses for a great price and some beauty products as well. This is my new favorite TJmaxx and I will definitely be back again! read more

First time vising this place since I moved away and I will say they must of gotten a new manager or something because this place use to be a mess and had a funky smell but not anymore. It feels like a brand new store almost. But as soon as I hit the traffic here it all came back to me why I don't frequent this place as often. Traffic and more traffic. It was already traffic-y when I lived here 15 years ago so I'm sure it's 10 times worse. This TJ Maxx seems to have more toiletries and stuff than the T. J. Maxx by my place but we didn't come here for toiletries unfortunately. A friend of me dragged me on out here to help him haul stuff for his re-sell business. I must say I've never bought $800 worth of Nike socks before...and what's up with the tiny Barbie size shopping carts? You gotta give us those Mac Truck Wal-mart size carts so we can haul loads of stuff on out of here. Thanks to the sales manger for being so awesome and putting up with us...apparently re-sellers come here all of the time! read more

Really nice TJ Maxx. The merchandise was really well organized and they really had a lot of name brand merchandise at a good price. My friend and I spent a lot of time in here just browsing. Probably too much time since we had planned on going to some other stores but ran out of time. Lol. This store even had a furniture section. So nice! I didn't buy a lot on this trip since I had the small car with me and didn't have enough room but I did get some really cute Kate Spade socks and a Yankee Candle. I'm only sorry this one isn't near me but I will be back next time I visit my friend. read more

What is there to do when you are staying in a highly retailed 'burb of Atlanta and you don't have much to do? Go shop of course. And since I'm all for a deal, I avoided the mall and went straight to the discounted stores. This TJ Maxx is lovely and they even have a "runway" section that I've never seen at any other TJ's. Definitely a great spot to shop for clothing. Service was OK and traffic is a nightmare so be prepared for that during busy times. Overall, a very nice TJ Maxx! read more

Yea, it's a little disorganized and older than the chamblee plaza location, but I love shopping in their jewelry section. I really like this location. I saw a good selection of brands that I love. I guess it comes as no surprise since this is the Perimeter area. The selection and brands are reflective of the area you're in. Overall, this location had a nice clean store with good brands. I hardly come here, but I would say this is a good place to browse around if you're waiting for someone. Well, it's a good place to browse in general. The workout items I picked up are pretty cheap. The prices are not that much more here than in other locations. The cashiers were very friendly. And that's a total plus in my book! There is also Perimeter Mall if you get bored. :) read more

Not one single plus sized item in the entire store. One person said to check the clearance section, but there was nothing there. There was not even a sign marking where a plus size department USED to be. The manager was too lazy to bring her sorry ass out to the floor show me what was in the store. Very nice lady from the jewelry department trying to help, but no luck. This was once my favorite TJ Maxx. It's located in a highly populated suburban area, so there is no excuse. And I'm here to tell everybody that you won't find any plus sizes here, so don't waste your time. read more

I'm not crazy about this TJ Maxx and every time I walk in, I wonder why I had forgotten to not come back. I like going to the TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores of the world to check out food things. Be them actual food or containers that store food or things that you can use to cook food (i.e., cooking utensils, pots, pans), I don't discriminate. The selection here is a hit-or-miss, which make the treasure-hunting a little bit fun. Sometimes I'll glance through the racks for clothes, bags, or shoes, but I haven't found anything to lug to the checkout line. Man, others must have picked up on my "secret" of buying saffron at these stores, because holy crap, it's been a long time since I've found it! Thank goodness for Trader Joe's, or else I'd be bankrupt. My gripe with this TJ Maxx is the sloooooooow checkout process. The last time I was here (on a weekend afternoon), I found some goodies that I wanted to get and the line was snaking the front of the store. It was insanely long. I had to drop all my finds and leave. AT and little AT were waiting for me outside and I got to the car just in time, since the little one was throwing a fit. What is the point of the traffic sensors and forecasting software if TJ Maxx cannot plan for having lots of customers on a weekend afternoon? I'm not sure I'm coming back, especially with HomeGoods so close by. If you have patience to sift through the racks and wait in line, you may leave with some stuff worthy of your efforts. not the best tj maxx location. for such a good location, you would think they would have one of the better inventories. I usually can go inside of a marshalls/tj maxx and come out with at least 1 item. for this location, that's not the case. it's an average size store; very comparable to a majority of their locations. it's just a shame that the brands and selection that they carry are not favorited amongst a lot of their consumers. staff are alright. they have their days. any other tj maxx location is better than this one. read more

For the most part, the store is usually overall kept clean. Exception being the home goods / clearance aisle. Everything always seem scattered. I like coming here for discounted base layers for snowboarding and other men's essentials when I don't feel like paying retail price. Luggage selection varies, and is harder to find set pieces. It's better if you are just looking to get a replacement / accompanying size suitcase. Service, I would say they can get bogged down at the cashier line during the weekends but normally they request for additional assistance over the intercom. read more

I'm a fan of the TJ Maxx/Marshal's concept and pop in when time permits to browse the sales racks. The TJ Maxx at Perimeter is a well kept and updated store with a good selection of clothing, accessories and little home tchotchkes. I stop into this location during the weekdays, which means I don't usually have a lot of time. Getting into/out of the parking lot during peak traffic hours is a headache, so plan your visits accordingly or stock up on patience. This store has a large selection of women's clothing and accessories (men's and children's clothing as well) but I've never had good luck finding shoes here. I can recommend the housewares section and occasionally have gotten a few real steals in the cosmetics/beauty area. Service is consistently fair - not great, not awful, just fair. In my experience, there's normally a fairly long line of customers waiting to check out (not optimum when your customers are popping in on their lunch hours). In spite of the traffic issues and the somewhat slow service, this TJ Maxx is a good shopping destination for the area, especially if you don't want to pay Perimeter Mall prices. read more

I went to the checkout line and there were 8 people ahead of me with only 2 cashiers. I asked an associate if they could get another cashier and they said they were short handed. The associate behind the jewelry counter shouted out from across the room what seems to be the problem. After filling her in she said first of all, the line is not that long...what??!!. I understand businesses get short handed but that associate is in dire need of customer service training. Possibly TJ Maxx could enable the jewelry counter as a back up check out location. There was not a customer anywhere near the jewelry counter. I walked out in hopes of returning one day. read more

Oh TJ MAXX. No this is my, I'd say 10th TJ MAXX in 3 states with NO CHANGING TABLE in the women's bathroom!! You advertised everywhere about praising moms for Mother's Day but don't have a changing station ?? Come on now. By the way, aside from Mother's Day what stores doesn't have a changing station in their bathroom?? Everything else is fine. Clean organized. Staff is always a hit or miss sometimes you catch em on their good/bad days. read more

If you like designer names at a cheaper price you should check out this TJ Maxx. They have "the Runway", an area of the store with designers like Gucci, Diane Von Furstenberg, Roberts Cavalli, and Fendi. Kind of bizarre, but cheaper than average. I like digging through the purse section. It's pretty large and has a better selection than most TJ Maxxs and Marshalls. The store is organized like the typical store. Be sure to check the home section. Every once in awhile I find a great pot/pan there for way cheaper than it ought to be. read more

I will give this location points for cleanliness and organization. However, I was disappointed by the selection as compared to other stores. We walked out with absolutely nothing. Which is pretty amazing considering that were going there with the complete intent to buy. I would have thought that there would have been alot of higher end brands considering the location. But the Howell Mill location beats this one, at least in the Men's Department. read more

Employees having very personal conversations at the register causes the checkout loan me to snake all they way out of the queue.

I wanted to return a pair of sandals because they were too high, the lady in the cashier accused me of wearing them with a very uncomfortable actitud, -even when they still had the tag attached with plastic string and no shoe marks-she went to the manager and said that the sandals were not in the system and she would not give my money back. I complained to the manager about it and she did not do anything whatsoever, like she didn't even care, she just say I'll talk to her. I felt very disrespected, I've been coming to this store for years and I've heard that the customer service is awful, but didn't have to experience it till now. read more

No wonder this place has 3 stars!! Dear manager, I hope you are reading this bc you just lost another valuable customer who loves shopping at Tj Max. I normally go to the Buckhead location and i happen to be in the area so I took my moms dress that I bought to exchange the size at "this" location Who would've thought this would matter!? Turns out the cashier wouldn't let me do exchange at this location since THIS location doesn't have that EXACT dress on sale as the other location did therefore if I want to get this EXACT dress in the different size for my mom then I'd have to pay the difference!? Even-though I HAVE the receipt that I just bought it for her TWO WEEKS AGO! How are consumers supposed to know any of this when driving here on a raining day, that they're supposed to bring back to the exact location!? Aren't they all part of the same company!? It's a decent sized store in what looks like a nice area. Items were arranged and organized pretty well, but there were not great deals. Nothing for men's shoes. There was a long line when I went, but it moved pretty quickly, however, the guy at the register was not cordial. He just handed me my receipt and looked at me without saying thank you or anything.
