My mom and I were looking for a good spot to go Christmas shopping, and after receiving a…read morerecommendation about Old Mill Pond Village, we decided to take the drive up. We're so glad that we did! What an amazing hidden gem for all things Christmas. Everything is quality made, and our style is Americana/country, so this was right up our alley. If I had to refurnish my house again, I would come here in a heartbeat! We found so many nice Christmas decorations, and I certainly didn't mind paying a little bit higher prices for quality products. Any staff members we encountered were pleasant. We will absolutely be returning, and I can't wait to come back during other seasons to check out their selections! We easily spent 3 hours here combing through everything, and we couldn't believe the gigantic warehouse of furniture!

"Down by the Old Mill Stream Where I first met you"…read more(Mills Brothers) When you drive around the Old Mill Pond Village Complex, your eyes are met by one of the largest and most impressive collections of outdoor furniture and colorful outdoor accessories I have ever seen. Brilliantly colorful Adirondack chairs, dazzling wall art, planters, lawn spinners, gazebos, lawn décor, and more are everywhere. Not only is he inventory beautiful, but there is so much of it. And when you go inside the buildings, you'll pretty much have the same experience with different goods like furniture, housewares, candy, jarred foods, toys, stuffed animals, lamps, birdhouses, candles, clothing, kitchen gadgets, soaps, health and beauty aids, the massive variety of things to buy never ends. It's like the greatest county store you've ever visited taken to the tenth power on steroids. We had a blast walking through the Village Complex, chit chatting with the friendly staff and bought some candies for the grandkids. We'll be back to get some lawn spinners or lawn accessories once we're done with the weeds and landscaping. If you haven't visited here, I strongly recommend that you do. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself as much as we did.

(Kenny Chesney) My wife and I are attending an industry get together in Texas, and it's no surprise that guests are encouraged to wear Western clothes to the Welcome Party. I found something appropriate deep in the recesses of my closet, but my wife needed something to wear. So today's mission was to find her a suitable top at a reasonable price, which is why we visited Tractor Supply. I knew they specialized in that niche. We weren't disappointed. She found a very nice blue denim top for $24.99 with all sorts of buttons and stitching that will be totally appropriate. Tractor Supply is a very cool store -a Super Store if you will with departments featuring tools, truck and tractor supplies, farm equipment, animal feed, a big pet department, food (jerky, chips, salsa, candy), furniture, sporting goods, clothes, furniture, work gear, and lawn and garden. We were delighted by what we found in their lawn and garden department- flats of flowers marked down to $1, $0.50, and even $0.10 per flat. We scooped up some flowers at those rock bottom prices to plant around our light pole and by the front stairs. Oh, and I got a red bandana ($3.99) to add some more Western flair for my Welcome Party look. Yee Haw, y'alls !!!!!!!

Unfortunately they are experiencing the supply chain shortage of 2021 & their selection was incomplete. I did buy pecans & walnuts, a couple of bird feeding supplies, nice wool socks (great place for those). I also bought tape and gift bags, and a few packets of flower seeds. I have to think most people are familiar with these stores, so I won't go into describing everything inside. This is a nice & clean store with friendly staff. I wish the music was kept on a much lower volume setting.

It all started back in the Winter of 2007 when I was layed off by my employer and I started six months of unemployment until I found a really great job. During those lean months, I started to frequent the Canton OSJL, the one closest to my home. It was a nice way to kill time and not spend a lot of money. How do you describe what they sell in OSJL? Short answer is they sell everything- clothes, food, hardware, housewares, health and beauty aids, toys for the kids- just about everything. These are not the smoke damaged seconds you'll find in Building 19- this is first quality new merchandise. They have a nice feature that saves you even more money -their Internet Coupons. Every week they feature about 20 coupons for deeper savings on all kinds of stuff- you have to go on their website and print them off. Every store has a dedicated section for the Internet Coupon specials. The Southwick location is one of OSJL's nicer locations, ranking in my book second only to Canton, and easily ahead of the adequate Bloomfield, slovenly Windsor, and horrendous Berlin stores. In Southwick, the shelves are well stocked, the store is neat, the signage is easy to read, the variety is stellar, the service is attentive and the prices are of course very good. I get a particular kick out of seeing OSJL staples such as Paul Sorvino pasta, Red Mill grains, and Peanut Butter & Company flavored peanut butter sold in fancy gourmet stores for 3 or 4X their OSJL price. If you like Salsa, try their Brad's salsa- its one of the best I have had for just about $2 or so. I also get their Polar Orange Dry Diet Soda 6-packs for an embarassingly low $1.65.

You know, when…read moreyou're looking for tires, and you're thinking, hey, you know what that "two-year road hazard included" sounds good. Guess what. TireRack doesn't honor their tire guarantees. Here's my story. Short story: DO NOT buy from TireRack. Stay away at all costs. Longer story: I bought 4 tires in 2019 for $1,069.88 from TireRack, the another 4 245/45R18 Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat MO Run Flats in 2021 for $1,125.18. All the time, I thought, "you know what? It's comforting to know that in case something happens to these tires, they're covered." Well, after running TireRack tires for 3-years, something did happen. One of the tires blew out while on the highway. Yes, I was safe. Yes, it wasn't cool. About the time I was thinking bummer, I need to get new tires now, I thought, "Hey, wait, I had the "two-year road hazard included." So, awesome, I'll give TireRack a quick call and have a credit to buy new tires. Well, not so fast. I called TireRack. Apparently, they don't handle those claims. They contracted this out to nationalsafedrivers.com. Okay, no problem, find their website and submit the claim. I follow up. Nothing. I follow up again, nothing. Four months later, I get a cryptic reply that I need the TireRack receipt for the tires and the install receipt for the tires. I emailed ASAP Tire, who emailed me the invoice within minutes, which I forward to nationalsafedrivers.com to complete my claim. Now they say they don't have enough paperwork. Hey, there is no more paperwork. First, 100% of this transaction was done through TireRack; second, I forward the paperwork 3x over 4 months. Bottom line TireRack, hiding behind nationalsafedrivers.com doesn't honor their "two-year road hazard included." If you care about your car and are familiar with running on tires you feel are protected, you won't find them at TireRack. Don't waste your time as I did, preserve your time and family's safety, and go with a company that cares about their customers and the safety of their customers--and that my friend isn't TireRack. Update 21-July-2021: Albert K. Thank you, I will check email. For a claim filed on 9-Mar-2021, pretty slow response. You might want to revalue how timely you respond to customers. Also, I submitted the requested documentation the same day I filed the claim--back in March.

I recently purchased 4 new Continental LX25 tires for my vehicle. I had them delivered to my installer. So far so good, when installing and road force balancing the tires one of the tires would not balance. The installer moved the tire 4 times on the rim in an attempt to balance no luck. if I had purchased locally they would have grabbed another tire from stock and that ended this story. I had to contact Tire Rack, they sent another tire three days later. I had to pay twice to install the same wheel. Tire Rack gave me less then 50% of what the second install cost back as a credit. Continental's policy says no refund for installation for tires purchased on-line. Buyer be aware, shop and buy tires at your local tire dealer. The online pricing is not that better if at all. Save yourself the hassle I went through October 2024
