I love this store . They have everything and the prices are always great . It's the only TJ Maxx that I know and shop because the aisles are always clear and clean . nothing on the floor compared to other stores that I've been into. Whenever I need some new sandals for a dinner party or a blazer for an interview TJMaxx is there for me Only those with a good eye will spot out the best quality items My most recent purchase was a Calvin Klein blazer for $60 that was originally $170 Everything is always neatly placed although it can get messy throughout which is expected for such a busy store!! I want to , although this store is expensive, I have always loved the sales However, I had bought a regularly priced Andre Assous wedge on August 2 2024. I wore these sandals one time at a house part. I almost tripped on the bottom , as the sole peeled off. I knew I could return them, it's that kind of store so I thought. The manager Kim was extremely rude when I decided to get another pair. she first offered to fix them at a shoe store which I thought was weird and not satisfactory I insisted that they were not in water she kept saying they were! I was appalled! She grudgingly took out another pair but reminded me in an annoying way that they were worn in the rain. I was shocked that someone would argue with me that way as she told me those new ones were a Final Sale even though they were not on sale in the store. I felt that she was admonishing me one again as we checked out she then started arguing with me again and was terribly nasty to me. the poor sales girl was what. I love Dhoes N More but I will not go to the mount kisco store if Kim is there. she ended by a nasty comment that she's not there all the time and I could work with someone else Kim isn't for that place. she doesn't smile , is not a good manager , and not helpful at all with her negative attitude. I also tried on a pair of pants and she stood by the cash register telling the sweet sales woman Victoria , to assist me. I went to make a return today. The manager said she couldn't accept my items because they were all worn and washed. Everything still has the tags on them! She also said nothing matched the receipt I had....the same receipt that was given to me at my time of purchase yesterday! Mind you everything matched the receipt. Even when I called corporate they claimed they couldn't do anything! Even with me explaining everything had the tags on them and even if they "looked worn" it was another stores fault! Never again! Best part.....I had no issue returning the stuff to an even different tj maxx! read more

She should stay at home, which I am sure is swanky and far far away from where she'll have to rub elbows with "the day laborers" that she has to encounter in TJMaxx of Mt. Kisko of all places.. This location definitely has great stuff, avoid on weekends because it's way picked over. I love how these Bedford Hills, Katonah, and Chappaqua house wives complain about the demographics of the people shopping in TJMaxx, a discount store!.. They should go back to Neiman Marcus, "the day laborers" and "the help" can't afford to shop there.. I suppose because this store borders on affluent areas they get really good labels.. Great place if you have been to one TJ Maxx there is no shock factor prices are great and discounted from retailers and mall prices I like TJ Maxx I mainly get their dress shirts and other accessories from here. The store can be dirty at times but overall a great experience overall! read more

What a dump - everything is mixed together and no stock - are they going out of business?

a busy tj maxx in mt kisco that has plenty of folks roaming around for bargains and deals. i prefer my central ave location in hartsdale but this spot is nice with plenty of space to move about with my cart all while throwing an assortment of useful goods like a king size comforter for 30 bucks , a nite lite shaped like a palm tree(yes a bit tacky but still cool), a pair of la gear casual look sneakers and a bunch of other nik naks that may be useful or not. what i like about tj maxx is its not only clothing that you can get at nicely discounted prices which makes a visit fun and interesting . the line moves quickly as 6 cashiers are open and i dont mind spending almost 300 bucks cause i got a variety of goods and with christmas around the corner whatever i dont want i can dump off as gifts .i suggest you visit your local tj maxx and have some fun roaming the aisles looking for bargains. read more

I wish that I could give zero stars to the manager Paula who works at this location. I'm a regular at the store and shop for an array of items every weekend. During my time spent in the store I've seen Paula mistreat clientele. Customer service is one of the greatest aspects of being a manager and Paula truly misses the boat. She has a negative attitude and treats customers very poorly. I've witnessed Paula have several altercations where she's shamed and spoken down to customers and today my family and I had our own negative experience. We found a pair of shoes in the store that we loved, but realized that they had some minor damage. We simply asked if there was anything that could be done for us on pricing if we were to purchase these shoes which is not an unreasonable question. Rather than give us a calm answer, Paula shamed us, caused a scene, and blamed us for the damage to the item. She was so unprofessional and disrespectful that several customers overheard the conversation and came to our defense. The situation was uncalled for, unprofessional, and flat out rude. It's not good business practice and certainly not something that I'd expect from a store that exudes such a positive reputation. I'm not sure what qualities are examined before offering a managerial position, but I'd recommend looking into a manager that empowers their employees, makes the work place comfortable for everyone, and understand the value of customer service. I have been a loyal customer of TJMaxx for years and in others states and locations. The Mount Kisco store is the worst- good value but terrible customer service. I tried to take an item back (camisole) that did not fit and they refused to credit me - because it had a tag that registered from HOME GOODS - even though I had the TJMaxx receipt. Their mistake, not mine. Then, I tried to return a skirt I got for a friend's daughter who recently graduated - it was from the Luxury Design department. The receipt had been lost but I had the bag, the red plastic tag and the price on the pristine garment. Knowing the receipt had been lost, I acknowledged that I would be happy with a store credit. Well, they refused any possibility of returning the gift. A woman manager, Paula N., gave me terrible attitude, accused me of lying THREE times and basically humiliated me in front of a line of customers despite my being polite to her. Again, I have spent thousands of dollars at TJMaxx over the years and this was only my second attempt at returning an article of clothing EVER. I even brought an identical skirt hanging in the store to show it was a recent purchase that was still on the rack and seasonal. I cannot tell you how horrible I felt being berated by Paula. She made me feel like an idiot, refuted all of my claims that the sales person had told me that I could not return it if the red plastic tag was cut (it wasn't) and I relayed this to her. Again, she talked over me, lectured me, asked who the salesperson was (there are many and their shifts vary and without the original receipt, how would I know their name?). I will never shop there again- I will buy sales at retail stores or online. I am traumatized by this experience - you may save money by shopping at TJMaxx, but PAULA N. treated me like a hardened criminal and never ONCE thanked me for being a 'valued customer'. Stopped by this store because I was in the area. Usually just go to the store in Yorktown. They have a nice selections of items. Bought some items, went home and realized one of the items wasn't in the bag and I was charged for it. Long story short, after a few phone calls and video surveillance footage being reviewed, they were able to refund me the item. Will most likely go back but this time will double check my items before I leave the store. read more

I love this TJ Maxx. They always have very nice things and a wide variety of clothes and specialty items. I almost always find my size too, which is not easy since I am not a size 2. They even have a couture department. I even called about an outfit they wouldn't sell me because the top and bottom sizes didn't match and they found the match. Going to get it today!! read more

Cleanest, neatest TJ Maxx I have ever been in. I bought a round Pyrex dish for $8 and and NYR shirt for my husband for $10. Not really worth the drive for me, but a decent showing. Didn't feel the selection was any better than Yonkers, but again, way neater. read more

Definitely a man's nightmare. Store is always a mess. The men's department is smaller than my bedroom. The lines are always too long as apparently people in this area don't work. It's an unbelievable annoyance. You can't walk around without tripping over something or listening to people's uninteresting gossip while they talk on their cell phones. There are better locations. The store has great stuff, the staff is friendly and the managers are always on the floor. That being said you have to know that the area has both the wealthy and the day laborers. Yesterday a Spanish man followed me and my daughter into the runway section. He was a couple of rows away and started looking at women's tops and skirts all the while watching us. Then went to the women's sunglasses and still watched us and I was so creeped out that I walked out of the section. I watched him move to the women's shoe section and stand there, pull out his phone and call someone. We then put back all the stuff we were going to buy and left the store. If you consider being threatened by a customer a safe place to shop then by all means go ahead. I was looking in an aisle with my cart pushed all the way in. A female blonde( who was over aged and spray tanned) with a white dress was trying to get through in the aisle I fixed my cart the best I could and she proceeded to try to pass by. The space was large enough for her to pass, however, she continued to signal at me. I said to her nicely that I couldn't move my cart any further because it would hit a table and she proceeded to approach me in my face and cursed at me and then continued to speak on her phone and tell her friend about me by cursing. She had an iPhone in a purple and pink case. (Speck phone case)If you have children I would keep a good eye on them, if customers like her are shopping. We approached a manager and he said that the only thing I could do was to call the police and was provided no other assistance. According to the manager on Sunday August 6th, T.J. Maxx could not do anything to help us. I would not suggest this store to anyone, because of this incident. Also when we were checking out the manager muttered in my ear buh bye. I would recommend marshalls or home goods, but do not go to the T.J. max in MT KISCO NEW YORK. I wouldn't waste my money in a store where the store does not care for their customers general safety. If you see a woman in this location make sure to avoid her for your safety. My family and I were followed by an employee all throughout the store as if we were going to shoplift. I was shopping for some outfits for my 3 girls for Picture Day. Every aisle I turned he kept appearing. He even followed my husband as he went to the restroom. He also strolled behind my cashier as she rung up my purchase. Yeah so here is the deal regarding this place. The only reason that I went here is that my doctor is in Mt. Kisco, and I needed to stop by, and I thought that I could use up the $40 gift certificate that my 89 year old dad gave to me for my birthday. So I shop, spend $39.25, and the cashier at register 7 at about 4PM today would not give me the 75 cents change. Huh? "I can only give you the card back and then you can use it the next time." Which is total BS, since I am not driving cross county to use up 75 cents on a TJ Maxx card. This is how they screw people out of small amounts of money on these cards, which add up to millions in additional profit. Additionally, the men's department was tiny, and the lines were ridiculous. Can someone please tell me what happened to this store?! This used to be THE TJ MAXX, the one everyone knew about, but no one talked about because the designer selection was so awesome, no one wanted to spill the secrets. Now it is the same run down TJ Maxx like the rest of them. They completely shrunk and removed the runway section, which had a few items, all seemed to be Falling off hangers and lopsided when I went. They used to stock Fendi, Stella McCartney, & Prada bags. Gone are the good designer bags and shoes. I came to this store a week ago and was so upset about the changes, I did not know were coming! They need to restore this TJ back to its former greatness. I may start a petition! Who is with me? read more

I am fan and loyal customer of TJMaxx, but the customer service in this location is the worst. The customer representatives really don't care about customers. They should be nice and easy to deal with. But most importantly they should have a positive attitude toward their jobs and be excited to help customers. This is not the case at this store. There are always long lines and the employees have a "don't care attitude". My last experience was with Chris, a 17 years old boy. I wanted to return an item I bought last week but I did not have the receipt. I have a 1 year old baby girl and I am expecting another soon, plus I am a full time entrepreneur, so my life is pretty hectic. He laughed at my request and said there is no way I can return/exchange the item without the receipt. It never happened to me before that a customer representative laughed at my face without explaining to me why. I called the manager, Peter, to complain about Chris attitude and try to reason with him about my request, but he said nothing. He reassured Chris behavior and refused to exchange the item. I explained to him that I paid the item with my credit card. So they can get the information very easily from my card (amount paid, date, etc). He said, without the receipt, no exchange. So, I realized that the problem is leadership. The manager should train their employees to be respectful and be ready to help customers. But instead, he promotes this nasty behavior. I really hope you hire new people who can transform the workplace into a customer oriented team once again.
