One of my favorite stores. I always find something I want/need every time I shop here. There are plenty of wide parking spots even during frenzied holiday shopping week. This TJ Maxx store is very clean and has a lot of space. My wife wanted to stop by this store to return some baby clothes we got but she forgot the receipt and still wanted to shop here. The men section are toward the right side of the store and the women are toward the middle. The beauty and luggage are on the left side. The homegoods are toward the back of the store. There a lot of parking here and the customer service is great. The checkout will announce what cashier station to go to when they are ready for you. The prices will vary but some are reasonable. read more

i love this TJ Maxx. It is always so clean, well stocked and are able to find great deals. On this day i found a cute MK purse for a great price original price was $300, TJ Maxx price was 89.99 and i got it this day for $39.99. i was so happy. The staff member who assisted me unlocked the purse took it to the register and put my name on it while i shopped around. This is definitely one of the nicer locations. It's well-organized and not chaotic like some can be. I picked up a couple of gifts, though the kitchen, spices, and gourmet food section wasn't very impressive. The checkout experience was great--the line was short and moved quickly (a rarity at TJ Maxx!). The cashier was excellent and took extra care to wrap my glass items. Wow first time being at this location, didn't even know it was here lol Location was okay, nothing great, but nothing bad either. Didn't find much but that has been the usual with a lot of the stores as they're changing seasons. I came on a Friday about 6pm, and it wasn't too busy, it was definitely messy though lol I will try coming on the morning another day. read more

We went shopping here because they have all sorts of cool gifts. You can find pots and pans, hampers, shelf paper, and hampers all in one store. Let's not forget they also sell furniture and kids toys. Their prices are very reasonable and that's why so many shop here. The store is always clean and the people are always nice no matter how long their day has been. Aubrey E. Had been there all day and had customers nonstop at the register. I enjoy coming in here and walking around and finding new fun things! I never come in with finding something in mind, it's more of a treasure hunt where. They do have great deals, sales, and designer items. You can shop for the whole family here, sizes for all! Service is great, store is kept clean, somewhat disorganized because of all the racks. Great for accessories and shoes! Always appreciate the treats to add to my loot! Found so many great shirts that night and friendly staff. read more

I came in here today cause I was nearby at another shop in the plaza so figured why not look around as I needed to burn some time. They have a large selection of beauty/hair, clothing and home goods as well as other sections throughout the store. This is a place where you need sometime to look because you will come up on name brand items for a fraction of the cost. I never really have any luck in this location as it's a well known area but I still try my luck anyways. Today I looked around in the beauty and found something I've been looking for but the package was open and didn't want to chance it so I put the item back. I also found a few other items so I headed towards the line to check out which was long, as usual in this store. Only three cashiers open that were going slower then slow. Finally made it to a cashier and she was actually nice and didn't rush me along how most of them do hence why they were so slow. But I'm glad they finally hired people that are friendly in this store! read more

How long has this store been open? Or is it closing down? The stock in here is empty. In every department. Sizes picked over . Don't even try to go looking for something in beauty . Shame on you, TJ Maxx. Not only did I wait in line for 30 minutes because you only had two Customer Service cashiers, but then you refused to take back my return with a receipt. Even though this was make up, there's never been an indication that you wouldn't accept it back if it was the wrong fit. You've just lost a very loyal credit card customer. The one star rating is for employee Consuela M. I think she might be a manager. Today (10/15/23) she literally sat behind the checkout area talking to three other employees as the line grew past the line entry point (think the lines at Christmas, that's how bad it was). There were only 2 cashiers at the time, but both customers they were helping seemed to be taking a long time, so the line grew. The line grew past Consuela M and the employees she was chatting with and she could clearly see how long the ling was getting. Consuela did nothing until my sister asked Consuela if she could get more checkers to the front. Consuela only called for two more employees. It wasn't until I started taking pictures of the line and her just sitting there talking that miraculously almost every checkout register was manned by employees. I actually like this TJ Maxx location better than the one less than a mile from my house, but people like Consuela M shouldn't be in retail because her customer service skills are terrible. read more

Fully stocked with items at affordable prices. Fantastic purse, makeup section, kitchen, bedding, and intimates sections. TJ Maxx buyer does a really good job with these sections. The store was clean and the staff were friendly. I wish the shoe, jewelry, and men's departments had better selection. This store with Nordstrom Rack and Home Goods as its neighbors offers up an all-day shopping experience. read more

I live right down the street from here and all these comments about hispanics feeling unwelcome is wild to me being that this tj maxx is on the side of town that has the most population of POC in Santa Clarita. Except that at the one in Valencia. Being a latina myself have never felt unwelcome since this place opened. I will add though that you should always check your receipts if you have a lot of items. Yesterday i was double charged for about 3 items, it totaled about 40 bucks with tax what they overcharged but to stand back in line, which was huge, i just didn't have the time for since i had a commitment i had to be at. Be very aware of what is being scanned especially with the older cashiers this has happened twice to me. I also agree with a comment on here where they do hoard the hello kitty items in the back and sometimes hold them for themselves, heard it directly from an employee who has seen and been told to do so by managers. read more

Like Target, TJ Maxx is a store you exit with more items than you intended on purchasing. They sell curtains but no curtain rods. They do sell shower rods though. However, there is a Home Goods store 2 doors down from this place that does offer curtain rods. This place is more focused on the clothes. They carry more designer brands than some of the other discount clothing stores (Tahari, Michael Kors, etc.). The deals for clothes here aren't as cheap as the ones at Ross but I do think they overall sell trendier and better quality clothes. There is plenty of parking here and it's located near a biking/walking trail. I like coming to TJ Maxx for workout clothes or athleisure wear. The prices are affordable and there are lots of great items you can purchase as gifts (even if the recipient is a pet!). read more

It was my first time at this TJ maxxx location as I usually frequent one in Granada Hills and as I was walking in, an older white woman walked in right before me and got a greeting and I was just ignored even though I locked eyes with the greeter and nodded my head. Anyway, I began browsing and picked up a few items to try on so I made my way to the fitting room where once again a white woman before me was greeted happily and the worker made a bit of excited small talk with her about her choices, it was then my turn and the worker simply asked me to repeat the number of items I had and sent me on my way but as I was heading in the worker spoke to another girl coming out about how cute one of her choices was. I come out and she takes my stuff and doesn't even say thanks when I had her back the fitting room tag. I felt uncomfortable and unwanted there as a young Latina. Maybe it was just me but it surely felt that way in this store. They do have a more organized store than other TJ Maxx locations and that was the only nice thing. read more

Today I actually walked out without purchasing anything because I had to be someplace and couldn't wait any longer. There were only three cashiers and the line was about 15-17 patrons waiting. Worst tj maxx with incompetent employees. Went in to do a simple return and the young lady with blonde hair couldn't even do it and was flat out rude. Thank you for wasting my time and just pissing me off with your awful customer service skills. No wonder no one comes to this store. And I bought a lip gloss and went to open it it was USED! The worst and my return was for a separate item that was MISSING HARDWARE and it was full price. So 40$ down the drain and they won't take my return and I get horrible customer service I won't be back and will be in contact with corporate. Do better. read more

I'm so happy there is a nice Tjmaxx in scv now. I live in canyon country but will definitely drive to Valencia now. Unlike the soledad location, this place is bright, organized and beautiful. Return policy is stricly enforced, bought a Michael Kors watch for my girlfriend for her birthday and tried to exchange it today for a different one and they wouldn't even offer an exchange for the same brand watch just different style. Gift receipt states; all returns must be in original packaging and with tag which we had but since item was purchased over 30 days ago they wouldn't do anything. Gift receipt doesn't specify anything about 30 day return policy. Not very professional in my opinion to run a retail store like this. Maybe should specify the return policy in more detail especially on a gift receipt. read more
