I recently got a pedicure and this is the first time i've had the older lady do them. I felt a little pain when she was doing my right big toe. I just thought she was cleaning it thoroughly but after everything was finish they was a little cut on the side of my big toe. As my day goes on I start feeling a little pressure and now today is the third day I noticed that it's swelling up a bit.

I've been going to Sulli since 2021, and she NEVER disappoints with my nails!! Any design I ask her to do, she always nails it and goes above and beyond. The fact that she free hands it too is amazing to me! She's super friendly, and I absolutely adore going to her. If you have any nail design that you want to do, go to her! The vibe there is friendly and they play great music and it's very spacious as well.

I left my old nail shop because they do what they wanna do on your nails and you pay all this money for it .. I wanted a pink French to match my toes .. I guess she had something else planned and I called and booked a appointment I didn't get what I wanted and then she had a attitude while doing it said I'm going to do a more natural looking and then apologize when she saw the look on my face ....

Iv been here two times and both times with an appointment they have made me wait for over 40 mins.! The first time my nails fell off within a week. I figured maybe the second time will be better! I wasn't even seen, I just walked out! Would not recommend this place! I don't mind waiting but with an appointment and they are rude if you ask how much longer! and they do not greet you as you come in, they all just stare down! Lol what!! read more

This place needs way more recognition! Everyone is so friendly and great. SULI IS AMAZING. Her work is unbelievable. She can hand paint almost anything. Her nail shape is perfect and she works fast! I used to go to an in home nail tech but I'm glad I switched to Suli. Pricing is very reasonable! I highly recommend this place! read more

I've gone twice with Rosey (I believe that's her name) and loved the nail art work. Unfortunately I notice the acrylic nails break right off my nail very easily doing any daily (simple) task. I really wanted to love coming here and I've had a great experience so far aside from the constant nail breakage. I don't know if she's using bad acrylic or nails or what the cause of the nail breakage could be but it's disappointing to have to keep getting nail fixes to have my nails just break once again. I'd totally give them 5/5 if this wasn't the issue. read more

I haven't found a good Nail Salon in years and I finally found one in my OWN NEIGHBORHOOD for the 30 years I've been this is the First time I finally found one! I was literally driving to Whittier and Hemet to get my Nails done! I'm a ver loyal customer I've gone here a few times with my sisters an I an we never had a problem, till this Thursday. I went Wednesday evening 9/22/22 to get a mani an pedi and I seen they were busy getting ready to close. Everything went fine an we had a good service we'll the next day I went to work an by my lunch my nails were chipped I called TJ Nails explained what happened They advise me to come in after work to fix my nails, when I arrived after work they basically denied me stating they couldn't fix my nails till about 530 to 6 due to them being booked and busy at that time when I was there there was only three people two weee being helped an one was waiting employees were on there phone instead of assisting customers. The lady at the front table I asked her if she could fix my nails there were only two chips and I would pay the difference for acrylic and she said "No i can't " ! I was very surprised because I've spent a lot of money at this location and for them to just make comments and laugh was very inappropriate. This will be the last time I ever go to Tj Nails !!! read more

Trash. Maybe the other nail people know how to do nails but mine DID NOT. said she did nails ever since she was 7 but doesn't know how to coffin shape. I'm only upset because I got these nails THREE days ago and I continuously told her to fix the nails and shape. I wanted a design on my nails but the shape and sturdiness of these nails made me tell her to finish my nails so I can leave. I didn't think this would be that terrible. read more

I have come here so many times and have never had an issue. Today I went into remove some acrylic nails and knew I was going to have to be back next week to add acrylics once again for my wedding. I came here today to get a simple white nail polish color for my bachelorette. And this was the result... for starters the guy didn't even cut or file my nail, there are still remains of the nail I was trying to remove, and I literally have lumps of paint all over my nail. It literally looks like my little sister painted my nails... she offered to have someone redo them .. I then tried to explain that I didn't have time for them to redo. She said it would take her 10 minutes to redo what the guy had done. I asked if I could just not pay for the manicure and they were more than welcome to remove the polish if they needed to. The girls response was literally that I had to pay for my manicure no matter what because it was their time. But it was also my time wasted when I was given a shitty job. I told her I was more than happy to pay for my pedicure and nail removal but I would not pay for the manicure that was done with a lack of effort and just plain out horrible. She persisted to say that no matter what i would have to pay for them so that I had to pay for my manicure, nail removal and pedicure in full. I told her I refuse to do that and she said that I could come back another day if I really had no time. Clearly I was not going to be coming back to this location if this was the respect I was being given. In the end she ended up making me pay for my pedicure, nail removal, and half of the manicure. Paying for a service is not the issue the issue is that I can't believe a business would allow me to walk out of their shop with nails like this and still expect me to pay a portion of that. Also don't even get me started on how on their flyer it says nail removal soak was going to cost five dollars however she was saying it was gonna cost $10 once I got to the register. I definitely won't be returning to this location and based off the reviews I am not the only one who has issues here. They do a great job with acrylic nails but unfortunately I just won't support a business that won't support their customers when they are in the wrong. I urge you to support small businesses but this isn't one of them. read more

This was my favorite nail spot. Tiffany and all the girls made me and my mom feel like we were getting pampered. Long story short my daughter had an appt for graduation. She went to another nail salon. I quess I posted in on IG and they saw it. So when I went to make appt they refused. Ridiculous service! Lady in the first chair couldn't get off the phone, she kept stopping while doing my nails to do something on her phone, didn't check if nails were even or not! Ridiculous!! Got a pedi too and it was a new guy, gave him opportunity but he needs a lot a lot more practice, the least the others can do is guide/ teach him as he is not gonna learn to do it the right way if no one is telling him he is doing it wrong. Overall not worth the price. specially not worth the $41 for a basic pedicure read more

I had been going to TJ Nails in Whittier since 2017. When they opened up this location I was thrilled because its down the street form my house!! I was especially happy since Tiffany switched over to this one too! Tiffany is my GIRL!! She always does an amazing job on my nails. She is so precise with her designs and has the shape on point every time!! The atmosphere is very upbeat - always good music and sometimes Netflix on lmao! 10000% recommend coming here! Got my acrylic fill and pedicure by a young lady name Kat. She started on my pedicure and was very gentle and clean. When it was time fror my fill she stared filling and I noticed the manager was was looking over. And supervising her work. Which made me feel confident that her work was going to turn out good. Turns out she isn't to familiar with acrylic. Which is OK because when I asked her she was honest the manager finished filling my nails and did an awesome job and I give manager the credit for Giving the opportunity to her employees to lean and making sure the job was done right. I've been going to TJ nails in Whittier for years! I started to go to this location because Tiffany moved here! I always go to Tiffany, she is amazing! She always does my nails exactly how I ask for it and my nails always come out looking perfect. I am always getting compliments for my nails and everyone I've recommended on coming here end up loving it and coming back! My suggestion: always ask for Tiffany! She's super friendly and always does what you want for your nails! This place is really clean and the other ladies are super welcoming! The price is definitely affordable! I saw results, and a week later, i messaged them and they decide to retract that offer and told me terra is now only offering $600 for 1 month + 1 wk free. Ok. But whats the point of offering me 700 for 2 mo when youre not going to follow through? Although thay made me uncomfortable, i let it go. Today, i reached out to ask for quote on service for shurink, specifically 400shots. I also asked for price on botox. They avoided answering prices and was vague and said terra is offering 1x shurink for $500. Because of the experience i had last time, my instinct told me to lock in and schedule that offer and price for when i return next month from my trip. And i was right because when i tried to lock it in, hana told me "ok. But ill let you know in march" There was some back and forth and suddenly, they said they have availability march 27 for the services. So why would you let me know in march?? To change the offer again? How come as a business the cant give me clear and direct answers? As a client i felt it was shady and unnecessary, and a stark contrast to what their customer service used to be. I no longer feel comfortable coming here.

I use to go to the one in Whittier to get my nails done but the one in La Puente is so convenient for me because it's right down the street.
