I've struggled to find a great nail technician that actually took the time and care to make sure that the job was well done and that the client was left satisfied with the service that is being provided. If I'm giving this place 2 stars, it's because the owners are super friendly and accommodating. Also my nails were fair. What was disappointing is that I asked for a Gel Manicure, and they do not soak your nails prior. After removing my nail polish, I was expecting them to bring a bowl of water to dip my hands into and they didn't. I thought that was strange. The owner proceeded to cut my cuticles dry and even used the sander on them! I wasn't too pleased with that. After that he proceeded to paint my nails and put under the uv light. After he was done, he dabbed some cuticle oil on each nail and sent me on my way. No lotion or anything! In the pictures this is how my fingers looked as I left the shop. I mean, you can still see the white sandy residue on my fingers. Also, I can still see some of my old polish on my nail. I don't think I will be going back there but again they were very sweet. I read some reviews and I guess this is how they do manicures? Dry manicures I guess. Not worth $30 in my opinion. read more

First time coming in here and was done in less than an hour (40 mins to be exact). It's a small mom and pop nail salon. Tina is the owner, not only welcoming and friendly but she did an excellent job. Got the gel manicure and the total including gel removal was a whooping $28. Not bad and she was very attentive to my dry cuticle areas. I definitely will come back here for a quick manicure redo! The shop is small but very clean and cozy. read more

First time here and was so disappointed. I asked for a gel manicure which they charge $25 and don't even soak or soften the cuticles. Hardly cut any dead skin and was told that's how they do it! WTH? Never heard of this 'method' and definitely not worth my money!!! No wonder the place was empty...ugh. read more

I came here on my day off where I locked myself out of my apartment and had nothing to do but wander around and find something to do until my husband came home. I ubered to this shopping plaza because of course you can forget your house keys and car keys but not your handy dandy phone. Initially I ate at Caramelo Cafe but still had lots of time left . I walked my way all around that shopping plaza until I saw Melody Nails. It was right there and then that I decided to get a full set of nails after not having done my nails for over 2 years. Had already been to this place maybe twice about a year ago or so and they did a great job! Came back about a week ago and treated my Mom to a mani! I had called about 40 minutes before closing to ask if it's still ok for us to come in letting them know I needed a mani and pedi and just a mani for my Mom, they said yes! I was like 'sweet!' Got there in about 6 minutes, they did a great job with both so nice and clean. My Mom never gets a manicure or pedicure, so she was kind of interested in a manicure last minute. Kindly asked the sweet girl who was working on my Mom if she could squeeze in a pedicure for her. A younger man interrupted and said 'It's too late' without even being able to look at me in the face! And he looked annoyed. Mind you there were 3 other people still in the salon that were definitely going to take longer than what a pedicure takes. But hey. Only reason for the minus star. BUT, the sweet girl said she'd gladly do it for her and let me tell you she WON me considering they have no idea what my Mom has been going through! Very thankful shoutout to her, didn't get her name but she wears glasses ^_^ Overall, we loved our cute nails and toes! read more
