My nails turned black! The gel polish on my nail turned black after only a few days. I was shocked and thought maybe I touched something that rubbed off on my nails. No. It has steadily increased in intensity and size. I'm telling people its a new Parisian ombre look. That sounds better than, I was being cheap and got what I paid for.

I'm really mad but I know for shure this was the last time

This my third time coming to this place and every time I was greeted so nicely and the whole staff is friendly. I show here an art work of a mail set and taffy did an amazing job. Her husband did my French and she finished off the art . Thank you soo. Much and see you in a few weeks.. read more

I don't know what these other people are talking about but Monica is one of the best nail techs out there and don't get me wrong. All of the other nail techs are amazing and do beautiful work but if you if you want it done fast Monica is the one if you want mani/pedi done effectively Monica is the one Monica does the most stunning nails even if it's simple she knows how to do them quickly with no mess or fuss she's the one who does the nails not only at 100%, but 150% at such a good and reasonable price. But that's my opinion on how I see this place. 10/10 will always come back again. read more

Im so sad,frustrated, and most importantly in pain!! I have been going here for years to get my pedi done and this had never happened! I literally went yesterday and woke up today not being able to walk of the pain. I come home after work take off my shoes and find my toe BUSTED !! sorry y'all had to see it like WTFFFF I try to not discriminate the older ladies but their techniques might be outdated or idk but they need new training!! She did dig at my toes a lot and I would try to tell her it was hurting. I honestly didn't ask for her name but all I know is Jenni & Evelyn are the only ones that know wtf they doing. Now I don't even know if I'll ever go back !!! read more

I went back in August to their new location I had two older woman I'd never seen before working on my pedicure. One of them started pulling out tools and usually they pull from the blue bag. I wanted to scream because she pulled a tool from a small towel and started digging in my toe. I kept asking is that clean and she said yes. And now I have a cloudy spot in my big toe. Sadly, I think I had been here once before and forgot I didn't like it. I should Have read the Yelp reviews. I came in and asked for a mani/pedi with a dip for the mani. I got what they called a dip and no mani. The dip was $27 and didn't even Include cutting cuticles!! She was pretty snobbish about the whole thing and during the entire time. Watched a show on her phone and didn't really pay attention to what she was doing. The pedicure was barely a pedicure. I asked them to cut cuticle and cut my nails. Not sure what's going on in this place but it's over charging for bare minimum services. read more

This place has the worst customer service ever walked in to get a full set and was told to wait after waiting for 15 MINUTES the lady tells me the wait is 1 hr long are you going to wait? yet their was no one waiting but me 2 girls were getting their nails done and another getting a pedicure so they were almost done with one chick and all of a sudden you need appointment to come in which I told her in the beginning I don't have an appointment!!!! NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS SHITTY UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE AGAIN .... P.s you guys really need to improve your customer service .... read more

I've been here before and was treated very well (of course they want your business) came back this morning and they so rude (only 3 ladies 2 customers) I asked if they had time for a pedicure of course I get pick a color so I walk to look for a color and found 1 that I liked but seemed if it was old so I asked if this was the only one or if they had another similar color. I reed a review on Yelp that's how I found this nail salon. I definitely recommend Evelyn she will take care of you! She won't rush out she definitely takes her time. I been to a few nail salons that they try to rush you out for the next client. Glares nail salon takes appointments and open on Sunday's. Fit my schedule perfectly. read more

today was my first time here and it was grrreat! It was a little busy because i did come the weekend before Easter Sunday but I still didn't wait too long. I had the spa pedicure in their very comfortable chairs btw. Yen did my pedi and wow she definitely cleaned everything out which I looooved! She took her time and really did a great job with my French tip. I then got a fill done with Monica who was so sweet and she really knew what she was doing! Ask for Monica. She is fast and efficient. Love my new full nail set. I chose a black gel color she really did a nice clean beautiful work ! The place is in a plaza, kind of a hole in the wall but everything is clean. Which is a big plus for me. read more

By far the worst nail place I've been too . I came exactly 10 days ago for gel nails and a face wax. Thought I'd give it a try since I was in the area. The lady doing my nails cut me Twice and made me bleed. I let it go, and just let her continue on with the nails. By the 3rd day they were already lifting , and with gel nails it's all together so if one side lifts it all seems to come up together . Let me just say my gel nails which usually last a few weeks are Off already. We finished then I moved onto the wax. I felt like she didn't know much about what she was doing because she was moving slow seemed hesitant , but then again I compared her to my original Eye brow lady and just gave her the benefit of the doubt and let her continue . Big mistake. She ended up Burning me on my chin, idk if it was the wax that was too hot (honestly didn't feel that hot) or if the way she pulled the wax off or what it was , but it burned so bad! I made her stop, she claimed she was done. Yet didn't pluck or cut around my eye brows I still seen hairs. It was the worst. I told her she burned me she said over and over No, No, ur just sensitive. Claimed I had a reaction maybe to the wax . I told her I get my face waxed Often and never had something like this happen !! She called someone else in, while talking in their language staring at my face, the other girl said It's fine it'll go away in one hour it's just red. And tried rubbing cream on. They tried to get me to just pay and leave. I was beyond mad because I felt they kept tryna just shut me up and say it's fine its not burned it'll go away give it time .Not until I spoke to someone else and they Apologized, and said I didn't have to pay! If U could avoid this place ! Maybe it was just those lady's that do bad work and if u found someone good there then stick w just them . I'll never be returning ! I would Pay twice the amount to not have to deal with this Dark burned Mark still On my face ! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I went in for a fill and they took forever. At the end they still charged me the same as a full set. I asked for a discount because they left my nails crooked and overfiled, I also was cut a couple of times and they refused. Now they hurt so bad I can not touch hot water and if I touch the nail bed it hurts like hell. Never in my life have I been so dissatisfied and in pain! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK read more

If I could give this salon NEGATIVE stars, I would! It's the WORST nail salon I have ever been to. I've been here a couple of times because my mom has been coming here forever so I decided to try. NEVER AGAIN! Last time I took my mom, I dropped her off, and when I picked her up, she was almost in tears because of the horrible customer service here! She asked for a full set w/gel, red nails and one silver nail on each finger. She picked out the colors herself and showed the technician. The technician then went on to say NO MAMA NO SILVER, and decided HERSELF to put a purple sparkle instead of my moms INDICATED choice of silver. My mom repeatedly said no no no I don't want that color, but she ignored her and continued to apply her own choice of colors. HORRIBLE! As for my own experience, I decided to go to Monica because she's "the best one" there, but she also sucks! I went a weekday morning. EMPTY. There was maybe two or three girls getting pedicures. I went in for a full set. She hurt me and rushed through everything! I asked for coffin shape and it looked anything BUT! It was square and short. I don't understand why she was rushing, there was NOT ONE PERSON waiting! She pays absolutely no attention to detail! It doesn't matter what you ask for, they do not deliver! I came in for a manicure and pedicure, was over all happy with the results but less than a week later the gel polish by the cuticles started peeling up when my nails started growing. The peeling part gets caught on things all the time which can get very annoying. read more

I've been coming to Monica for almost a year for my full sets, she's amazing at what she does. She always does my nails perfect! All the other girls are kind, always greet and very attentive they've all done my pedicures perfectly they take their time and never rush even if it's busy. Yes, you will find cheaper nail salons in the area but they are completely worth every cent. I highly recommend coming here. If you want Monica word of advice make an appointment, she's a busy girl. read more

I usually love coming here, I moved to Oregon a year ago and I refused to get my nails done anywhere else. Coming back to California, I decided to get a set. Ginny usually does my nails but it was packed so Chrissy called me up. Right when I sat down, another one of her "regulars" came in and whined and whined until Chrissy told me to wait and did a new nail on one of her fingers. Then, halfway through my set, a late appointment came in and Chrissy rushed me and made my nails look not as good as usual. She made me feel bad (she said she needs to go home) and made me feel like I'm bothering her. Then, they charged me way more than usual. For the time and how wonky some of my nails look I should not have been charged that much. I was too upset to do anything but leave. I don't know if I'll ever come back here. UPDATE: less than 24 hrs later and the gel is chipping on my nails. HELL NO not for what I paid, I am never coming back. read more

Regular to get my eyebrows cleaned up. Fair price and fast service. If you are not a regular be careful who you get to wax your eyebrows. I usually have no complaints about this place. Had someone else wax my eyebrows and they burned me pretty bad and now I have to let the wounds heal and explain to people what happen to eyebrows. read more

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! My girlfriends and I came here the first time before my wedding day. We all had a good time, and decided to come back, it now had been 2 years since that day. We very glad that we found out about this place. They have awesome customer service and they never let us leave unsatisfied. I don't understand why they have such bad reviews on here, I guess y'all have to experience this place on your own, because people have different opinions. As for me, this place is my MVP, they have very reasonable prices too, they don't overcharged you. Please give this place a chance and come by, I guarantee you won't regret it read more

I came here for the first time to get a Gel-X manicure, and overall my experience was just okay. That said, I was a little disappointed that the area underneath my nails wasn't cleaned up as thoroughly as I expected, especially for the price. The service wasn't bad, but I did leave feeling like it was a bit overpriced for the level of detail. The salon itself is pretty, it's modern, clean, and has a really nice atmosphere. Parking was also a little difficult since the lot is shared with several other businesses. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but I'm not sure the quality matched the price point. I made an appointment over the phone for Gel-X removal and a new Gel-X set. At no point was I asked…read morewhether I wanted nail art/designs, which I didn't think would be an issue at a nail salon. When I arrived, I had to explain the design I wanted to three different people. Two of them weren't even my nail tech-- they were explaining the design to her for me, which honestly should've been a red flag from the beginning. I showed an inspiration photo for a design they initially said they could do, but pretty early on it became obvious that the nail tech assigned to me wasn't capable of recreating it. I ended up switching to a different, simpler design and showed her another inspo photo instead. While she was doing the chrome, I noticed immediately that it looked completely different from the inspiration picture. The chrome was extremely shiny and glittery compared to the softer finish in the reference photo. I asked her multiple times about it, and each time she brushed it off and said she would put something on top later to tone it down. I kept trying to trust the process, but it became harder and harder. The entire time, the other worker-- who later ended up taking over my nails-- was sitting right next to us and had clearly overheard me repeatedly questioning the design, especially the chrome, and pointing out that it looked much more shimmery than the inspo photo. Despite that, he never stepped in or checked on the situation until I directly asked him myself. Things got worse when she started the 3D flowers on my last two nails. The first flower already looked noticeably different from the inspo, so I had to keep correcting it. Then she showed me the "finished" flower on the other hand, and not only did it look nothing like the inspiration picture, it didn't even match the flower on the first hand. At this point, I had already been sitting there for around 2.5 hours with nails I was extremely unhappy with. I eventually asked the more experienced worker -- who had been helping explain the design earlier -- to take a look. He immediately agreed that the chrome looked wrong. He ended up taking over my appointment entirely and had to redo EVERY SINGLE NAIL by drilling off some of the previous work. He redid all of the chrome, 3D art, and even parts of the French tips because the original work was that poorly done. The appointment ended up taking 3.5 hours total, which is much longer than any Gel-X appointment I've ever had, especially considering most of the time was spent fixing mistakes. What disappointed me most was that after all of this, there was no apology, acknowledgment, or attempt to make the situation right. The only thing I was told was that I should mention ahead of time if I want designs because "not everyone at the salon can do designs." That response confused me because: 1. I did explain I wanted a design as soon as I arrived. 2. If certain techs can't do nail art, appointments should be assigned appropriately from the start. I honestly wasn't planning on leaving a bad review- I still tipped despite everything lol-- but it's now been only 5 days since my appointment and one of the charms has already fallen off. On top of that, the gold charms have already tarnished, which has never happened to me before at any other salon. You can also see in the photos that my cuticles were over-filed/over-cleaned to the point that they look irritated, and there's visible excess gel on the sides of several nails. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, especially for the amount of time and money spent.

I could see her trying to get it out and I see she pulls a piece of skin and I am thinking she will stop and cut it as soon as she takes it out, instead she keeps pulling my skin to the point where she peels off the front of my skin. A think layer by the way (as you can see in the picture). The gentleman that answers the phone walks around and he did noticed the lady had hurt my toe and didn't said anything. Looks like he is the supervisor or something, I thought he would say something when I was paying, but he didn't. I didn't want to argue because I already knew I wasn't going to come back. During the filing process, the technician filed very aggressively and actually cut two of my fingers. Despite explaining the shape I wanted, I never got the result I was asking for. The French tips were the biggest disappointment. They looked uneven and already appeared days old despite being freshly done. Throughout the appointment, I respectfully pointed out areas I wanted adjusted, but each correction seemed to make the lines thicker or more uneven. I felt like my feedback wasn't being heard. The appointment took nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes for a very simple design. As the technician became visibly frustrated, I eventually said the nails were fine because I felt that was the best result I was going to get and I just wanted to leave. When I explained that I needed to go, she still turned the drill back on and started reworking a nail instead of respecting my time. I had to leave to pick up my son from basketball practice, and I shouldn't have had to justify that. The entire experience felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I understand that French tips can be challenging to perfect, but I expected better communication, more attention to detail, and respect for my feedback. Unfortunately, I left unhappy with my nails and wishing I had spent my money elsewhere. I would have preferred a refund so I could have them corrected by another technician.

The manicure wasn't as good either. She barely soaked my finger nails before trimming the cuticles. The water was cold too. I've noticed she didn't even clean her tools after she made my toe bleed then she used the same tools on my fingers. I was so worried I would get more infection. There was a long wait too even with an appointment. NEVER COMING BACK HERE even tho it's only $30 for a manicure and pedicure. The place looks super unsanitary, the seats are old and uncomfortable, and their nail technician doesn't listen to instructions.

This place is awesome. I can't even stress it enough. My family and I have been coming here for about 5 years now. Everyone here is so chill and friendly. The service is wonderful, my nails always come out splendid, I love this place so much. They have a variety of colors to choose from, including gel colors and regular colors.
