I made an appointment for a manicure and was pleased to find a same-day opening. However, upon arrival, I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. I'm not referring to the typical dust found in nail salons; there were empty water bottles, candy wrappers, and empty boxes scattered across the workstations. The environment felt messy and uninviting. Regarding the manicure itself, the technician was very nice and did a great job overall. However, when it was time to soak my nails, he used a plastic bag for my hands. I understand that you get what you pay for, but it feels deceptive to label the business a 'SPA' when the experience is so basic--especially since their prices are comparable to surrounding salons. The salon has a television and music system, but both were turned off. While there were only two clients present, three other employees were sitting around on their phones. Despite the lack of a crowd, the trash, dust, and unorganized nail polish made it clear that maintenance isn't a priority. First impression is pretty good but I'll have to review after my shellac manicure has a few days to set in (update - they lasted nearly 2 weeks and withstood a good amount of abuse but ultimately fell victim to my stressed habit of picking). It was extremely quiet which made for a relaxing setting. The manicure station is a bar-like setup which is unique but would be fun if you were in a group. A very clean, non smelling nail salon. Normally when you walk into a nail salon you expect it to smell of the products used on the nails and there is no overpowering scent. After getting a fill the woman used lotion and have me a hand rub a nice extra touch. The nail tech was also very gentle and not once through the process did it hurt or was I poked. Not great customer service at all!!! I took my two daughters to get shellac. They were done at the same time by two different people. I have to say it depends on who does your nails if they will last because after only 4 days one of my daughter's shellac starting chipping and peeling. My other daughter's have lasted almost two weeks already. When I went back to explain this and showed her the difference between the two she blamed it on my daughter. She said it's wears differently on different people. Some are harder on their nails. She said, "It's not magic!" That was a bit insulting to say! Normally, I would accept this, but absolutely not after 4 days!!!!! I've never had a shellac last less than a week and 1/2!!! It's not like she's a little child either. She's 12! She would not redo them. She did over to "just polish" them. Needles to say, I won't be back here! read more

Never been to the salon before but decided to give it a try as most places aren't open on Sunday. I went in to get acrylics removed and a new set put on. I showed the lady the design that I wanted which was a nude and white ombré. I sat down For her to remove my acrylics she used a nail tip which I was fine with as I've done worse to remove them but a few of my nails would not come off using the nail tip and I told her that she was hurting me but she continued to try to do it to the point where she cracked my real nail in half And made my finger start gushing blood I asked her to clean it she walked away to get acetone in foil to soak my nails off and then she proceeded to start the full set on my other hand which looked messy and unblended so I told her that i didn't like it so she had someone else try and do it they then proceeded to tell me it was because of the color I picked and that it was too light. Mind you this whole time about 3 people walked up to look at my nails and are talking about it. So we decided to take them off and start over which was fine but I just wish they would of said from the beginning the color wasn't going to work so I didn't waste my time. I asked her to take the acetone and foil off my other nails because it was sitting on for 15 minutes. I asked if she could clean off the nail that was bleeding because I didn't want a infection and she was just going to glue it shut I said no do u have alcohol or peroxide to clean it and she took alcohol to clean it. At this point I was very irritated and having a full blown anxiety attack and had to walk away because I had never experienced such bad customer service. I composed myself and returned for them to just remove the mistake they did and leave. A customer asked what happened to get me so upset and the nail lady only told half the story saying I picked a color that didn't work with the ombré and I didn't like it. I believe it was the owner who took the rest of acrylic off and told me they were trying to accommodate me which they weren't and I left. In the end I was left with very ugly nails and a very bad experience I would never return here and definitely wouldn't recommend it. read more

Oct 5th I scheduled a time for myself, my bridesmaids and my now mother in-law to come in and get our nails done the day before my wedding, which I told them on the phone was why we would be coming in and that I would need a tip on one of my fingers. When I showed up at my appointment we were assigned nail techs, the pedicure went great overall and the polish lasted. However, my figure nails were a different story. The young man I was assigned had NO idea how to put on a tip and I had to lean over another client to have a different tech half ass it. My tech also cut my cuticles so short that by the end of the day they were pealing up my fingers and actually hurt the next day. My polish finish looked extremely rough and had bubbles throughout, AND by the end of the next night (which was my wedding) my polish was already chipping and cracking off! I was extremely disappointed that when they knew they were getting someone in for their wedding polish that they couldn't ensure that a tech who knows what they are doing was assigned to her. I will say, it is part my fault for trying a new place for my wedding polish but I was still very disappointed. It just felt like they were more concerned with making sure the young girls there for homecoming got better treatment. read more

There was no wait time when i walked in without an appointment, which i did enjoy. However, the man who did my acrylics was incredibly rude, he did not speak to me at all, instead he spoke to the other women working in a different language. He did not ask me what length or shape I wanted, so I now have long , too long, square shaped nails, when I walked in interested in an average length set of almonds. He did not take time with the polish and it is chipping off of my nails after only five days, as well as there being bubbles in the polish. This used to be my go to salon. The pedicures and manicures were great. However, in the last year this went down hill fast. The turn over rate on techs is pretty high, I don't know if all the good ones up and left but you will feel rushed and unappreciated. The gel manicures didn't even last 4 days, the techs rush so quick that they will not let you stay long enough under the lights to set the nails. Pedicures are much better but I got sick of walking in and them telling me to "come back tomorrow." This is a clean salon with a modern feel. However, I am disappointed with the inconsistencies in the quality of work. I will only let Kelly or Ty touch my nails here (both ladies do wonderful work and are very personable). Appointments are recommended, but not required. If I could give them a zero I would! This place is horrible!!! If you make an appointment they don't honor it, you still have to wait!!! They just take anyone that comes in and make the appointment people wait! We were even asked to come back an hour AFTER our appointment because they were busy one time. Another time we were told it would be 20 minutes when we had an appointment. This last time, 3rd and LAST, they had one person take care of 2 of my daughters at the same time even though I made appointments for all 3 of us!!!!! One of my daughters nails is messed up already after sleeping on it and they were done at noon! They did not apologize ONCE for any of the times! Terrible, terrible, terrible!
