She took me to a fairly large room that could have had three clients, but it was just for me to enjoy - at least that day! She started by asking me quite a few questions about my daily haircare and goals for the cut and deep conditioning treatment I requested. She listened. After a lovely wash and sit with the conditioner, where I enjoyed the peace of that lovely room, she came back and gave me the perfect haircut. She didn't try to do anything extra; she didn't try to offer me a bunch of product; she listened to my request, and made it happen. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm looking forward to pre-vacation manicures and pedicures with my partner in a couple of weeks. Also, I liked their online scheduling system. It's easy to navigate and use, and sends appointment reminders!

When I asked the masseuse to stop my massage, I was offered ear plugs and asked if I knew how to meditate to drown out the noise. It was the first massage in 30 plus years that I had ever been offered ear plugs. The total disregard for my experience was beyond disappointing. I did speak with the manager the following Monday and was offered a rebate of 40%. I was also told that the rooms are not soundproof. I never expected them to be. I cannot in good conscience recommend this spa and will not return.

Compared to other places where you can get the same quality. Especially for fill-ins. Most places, charge between $60-$75 (on average). This place charges $120. They claim it's because you will only need your lashes filled every three weeks. Even a month. If that were true, I would actually have no problem paying an every three week fill, of quality. But, therein lies the issue. After a week, the lashes start falling out pretty regularly. Consistently. By two weeks, they need to be filled, noticeably. Which is what I always ended up doing. Paying $120 to get my lashes filled every other week. And yes, I did say "always". Because I'm not just basing this after only going a few times. I went there regularly for nearly six months. I would communicate to Maryam, that they weren't holding up as long as I would have liked. She recommended a few things. Lash care. Things I already knew. I've been getting extensions for two plus years. I know how to take care of them. Excuses about your natural lashes shedding in the fall. Which I'm not saying isn't valid. But, the rate at which I would lose the fake lashes didn't decrease when winter hit. After going there for as long as I have, Maryam did not hesitate to charge me $60 because I missed an appointment because I got the dates confused. I had NEVER not shown up for an appointment ever. And, it was an appointment to patch up her work that was already falling out after a week.....again. That is poor customer service and not a good way to keep clients. After getting my extensions done for so long, I have to say that it isn't easy to find someone that does, even, a quality job. It is even more difficult to find someone who does a quality job at a reasonable price. A price that reflects the longevity of the work before needing another fill. I'm not looking for a cheap price. Because with something like this, you get what you pay for. If I'm paying $120 for a fill, the work better reflect that price. I was not getting $120 worth, biweekly. I don't expect a deal or a discount price, just a fair price. While it can be difficult to find a lash person, I can say with confidence, that you can definitely find someone who's prices and work, are better than Pure Beauty.
