This place used to be fun but the service has totally tanked over the last couple of years. The staff completely ignores customers and just talks amongst themselves and the regulars at the bar. This is an awesome old bar with a great open mic event on Wednesday. The barmaid is really friendly, and remembered our names from our cards when we opened the tab, made us feel appreciated. The billiards and karaoke makes it a fun joint without being too "hip" with the 20-somethings. It can be a quieter bar some nights, and a lively bar when it picks up, so the atmosphere is always changing. Good food, worth a try. We will return! read more

I've been here several times for their philly cheesesteaks. If you look around at other tables it's a popular item to order. It was obvious that our waitress was new but that's ok everyone has to start somewhere. However when we got our appetizer at the same time as our food it was kind off annoying. Then came the philly the whole reason I came here. The sandwich I paid $13 for was worth less than $5. It was dry and sloppily put together. The Mike Branch band was great. The dance floor was packed. Unfortunately they didn't seem to be prepared for a crowd. by 9 pm they had run out of dead guy clam chowder and the waitress was rude. We had to ask her several times to be served and she complained that she could only do one thing at a time and we were bitching too much. And then came the bill. Everyone had something wrong with their ticket. So go for the music don't expect food and if you want to drink sit at the bar. Be prepared to pay a cover charge. read more

Lack of pretention here. Good pool tables, good juke box. Drinks are ordinary bar fare, just fine, nothing wrong with them. Friendly, observant bartender always. Above average to very good venue for live blues music. Sometimes the accoustics are a little fuzzy, but it's a bar, not the Schnitz. On a scale from 1 to 10, with great accoustics at 10, Cascade levels in at a 7.5. The clientele: regular calm people who are uncritical of the strangely different. Zappa-friendly but rooted in good old bar dive mentality. Clean enough joint, not dirty. Comfortable. The bar food is fresh and crispy, just what you'd expect, no uppity adventures in culinary genius here. Blues music rules here. read more

Sitting at Cascade Bar and Grill, packed house. There are 3 waitresses and only 1 is working and serving customers. Meanwhile the other 2 are providing lip service and that's it. Very discusted!! I come here all the time for taco Monday and it's the same thing. Our waitress is a good waitress she just can't handle all the customers alone. It's a great place to hang out with your friends they have pool tables a nice outside smoking patio with fire pit. They usually always have something going on weather is Nike night on Thursdays with a live band or car shows on Tuesdays. There's usually a live band. The drinks are good and so are the people that work there! Totally casual place to go. read more

We like this place, the only problem is that it's listed as a Blues Bar and "it isn't". 2 pool tables, pricey jukebox and great food. The choice in the bands are not within the scheme of their clients ages. read more

This bar needs Bar Rescue!!! We will not be back to this bar. We've been there three times and last time tip was changed on debit card. Paid cash this time.....horrible service. Took forever to get food and no waitress for our table. Bartender served us after one of us went up and complained no one was asking us for order. Took at least an hour for food. And food was okay! They must not work for tips in this bar. This is the third and most likely the last time I stop in here. We waited for 25 minuets for a waitress to come to our table. The other waitress walked by repeatedly without any acknowledgement of us even being here. The absolute worst customer service. If it wasn't for a band we enjoy I would not have stayed. went there twice last week, once on a monday afternoon and once on a wednesday night. on monday afternoon (around 1pm), i went in for a sandwich, and the bartender said the cook hadn't shown up and then went back to playing a game on his iphone. judging by his morbid obesity he knew how to make a sandwich but wasn't interested. on the wednesday night at about 11:30, the bartender and some other guy who works there were already yelling at people to hurry up because "it was the law". i'm a licensed bartender, that's not the law. they were like TSA agents, so rude and condescending. what a bunch of jerks, avoid this place like the plague. read more

This place is great. The bartenders are so friendly and quick to get your orders. I had a Reuben here and it was incredible. I love the live music they do. There is an Irish group that performs and wow they are good. Not the biggest fan of karaoke but thankfully that didn't happen often. read more

Much better environment than the previous bar actually one of the singers from the last bar is here and singing here. No patio either. Which is troubling..people seem to be having a great time with the Kj and they get involved when people are preforming. I feel like it has something to do with the atmosphere. Tonight was my 2nd time here. Both times that I have come they have had live music, and enjoyed each time. I've seen some bad reviews about the staff, but I think they are great, and really think they do a great job. Service, drinks and entertainment are all good. Plus they have pool tables. read more

I went for a beer and they had a good selection. Since it was 6:50 it was still happy hour so I asked for the happy hour menu, but was told happy hour was over. I pointed out that there was still 10 minutes left. The bartender then had an urgent errand that lasted - you guessed it - 10 minutes. For that little stunt I give one star. read more

Went there last night to see the live music of "Random Pressure" who were awesome! Didn't mind the cover charge too much since we already knew of the band and knew we would enjoy the music. The atmosphere was fine. The service on the other hand was not so great. It took too long for drinks and some of them that were ordered never did show up. My daughter decided she was tired of waiting at the table and went up to the bar which was also like over 20 minute wait to get to the bar to make the order, once up at the bar she was told since she was running a tab that she could not order at the bar and she would have to order from the waitress that the tab was started with. I can understand this logic but it is very frustrating when you can't get waited on in a timely manner. She began to order them 2 at a time to accommodate. So lesson learned, only bring cash? Well...not exactly , I was paying cash and the drinks didn't seem to come any quicker. I was the designated driver, I had a diet coke. It's was $2.50 for the diet coke with 2 refills, which it was never asked if I wanted a refill, I had to flag her down. On the first refill after at least 30 minutes waiting I had to flag her down again before she finally gave me a first refill. Had to flag her down for the 2nd also. Sorry but I think that it should be a given when your drinking soda to just refill it. Ok I get that they aren't making much money off of "me" but they certainly would have made more from the people I was driving if they had been quicker and more attentive. She also may have gotten better tips, since they were all running a tab, it's all about how your overall service was at the end of the night when your signing that slip on how much will or will not be left. She wasn't overly friendly. The well drinks are nothing special for what I feel to be premium prices. Small glass, filled with ice..$5 and up for this size, not even premium liquor. Most places have this size well for $3.75 to $4.00. So we did very much enjoy the music. May be back again to see Random Pressure sometime this year. Possibly it was just our server? Somehow I don't think so, due to the wait at the bar also. read more
