TK's is a little hidden gem. We walked in not expecting much and honestly everything we tried was delicious. We ordered the special platter, crab and lobster, lobster and steak, spicy Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, asparagus, corn, banana pudding strawberry and Reese's, and one of their lemonades. Special platter is the way to go, you get a little bit of everything in that meal. The steak, I ordered it as medium rare and it was really chewy still. I think it's just the type of steak they had and it's ok but the flavor was all there. So if you like your steaks like that, get it!! All the sides were delicious except for the mashed potatoes. It tasted a tad dry but it could've been because we went late in the day. Everything is full of flavor and is soooo delicious. I would bring your own crab crackers though, they did not provide that for us and it was really hard eating the crab. Our food basically was cold by the time the crab was cracked and ready. Everyone there is so kind to see if you need more utensils or anything and cleared our table as we were done eating. I would say food coming out in plastic containers does suck but it's a more laidback place and easier than to do a bunch of dishes and ready to go if you don't finish it. The strawberry banana pudding is so divine. If you don't finish it, take it home and save it for later. I would def recommend coming back here. Their drink selection is basically lemonade or flavored lemonade. The food comes in Togo packaging with plastic silverware. They must have started in a food truck. If they deliver the product differently I would try again. The inside is fun and joyful with music and well used utilized space with bright colored walls and writing. The people are hardworking kind and fast at their job. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh and unique flavors. I got crab legs and steak and it was so heavenly. But I have to say, out of everything we had during my last visit, the lobster Alfredo absolutely stole the show! I know, I know... I ordered a lobster roll as I was in the mood for something different than my usual take out of burgers and chicken. My first surprise was that it was barely the size of a regular hotdog. It looked like the breading was a tortilla wrap it was so thin. The meat was chewy. The seasoning was a little much. Overall it was nothing to brag home about. It was the only thing I ordered and again late night so at this point for me the jury is still out. I'm not sure if they had the crawfish just sitting in a pot all day but it was super salty as well. I'm a salty person too and it was just not great. Also it was not spicy whatsoever. Crawfish not being in season also may have played a part of this? - 12 shrimp: this wasn't too bad. It was also overcooked but the sauce and flavor was fine. - Snowcrab: it was sweet and the seasoning and sauce was good but it was also slightly overcooked as the meat was sticking to the shell. - Alfredo pasta: pasta was cooked well, very creamy, and greasy. All good things but can get quite overwhelming and heavy. With all honesty, I've never been to a seafood boil spot that specializes in Alfredo pasta. Overall it was an okay spot. I wanted try it because of how much people raved about it on tiktok and Instagram but lesson learned not to trust anyone's food taste in colorado.
