We took our labradoodle here for her whole life - thirteen years. They did a great job grooming her. I especially want to thank Tinesha for the care she gave our dog. She informed us of several health issues over the years that we were able to have treated quickly thanks to her.

This is her after her grooming, she was matted and dirty and she came out so happy. With a pep in her step.

I brought in My friends dog sugar who is a shitzu mixed with a Bichon frise, and she is absolutely terrified to go to a groomer. She's a small dog maybe 12lbs and she is very nervous and anxious. The quoted me on her and took her back they said 3 hours. I was called and told it would be longer because they didn't want to stress her out and run through everything quickly and not thoroughly. She came out so damn cute and so happy. They treated her so well and they deserve this five star review, because I know she's way more then a a handful. They handled it very professionally and it made me feel so much better that they actually cared about what the grooming experience from her end of the stick.

I took my flame point persian cat here and I requested a basic grooming and I was very disappointed. First, he was dropped off around 9am and I called at 1pm asking how long he needed only to be told he wasn't cooperating during drying so they had to air dry. Another hour later I was given a call saying he had to be sent home because he had to be sedated to get groomed. I picked him up only to find that he was half shaved and very angry. They cut so close to his skin in various places and he was bleeding. Also, he was never bathed in the first place to require drying. I have taken him to get groomed numerous times and this has never happened, but ever since I brought him home earlier today he has been angry (hissing and scratching) and won't let anyone touch him, which is unlike him.

Our dog came back looking great with most of his undercoat brushed out, his nails trimmed, and most importantly of all, happy and his normal self!

I had a Pomeranian that passed away a few years ago and remember some of the awful fur-cuts he had and how difficult it is to find a good groomer. I called a few places and had no luck getting them both in, so when they could take them right away I was skeptical. Right when we walked in, I knew they were going to be well taken care of. It was a very friendly welcoming atmosphere. They did a thorough consultation and explained in detail what they were going to do. I just wanted a nice cleanup cut and not have them shaved because every place I took my old Pomeranian, they would shave him leaving him looking all blotchy & spotty even when I requested they not shave him. When I came to pick them up I was extremely happy with the outcome. They cut their fur in a beautiful shape that went perfectly to their body shapes. It was exactly what I wanted and even better. Vivian explained everything her and Ashley did and gave me tips on grooming them at home. She educated me on how to keep their skin moisturized, fur conditioned & shiny and how to properly remove the dreadlocks that form behind their ears. My dogs were both calm relaxed and happily walking around Muddy Paws knowing they looked great. I highly recommend going there to have your dogs groomed.

What I like: I have a short hair chihuahua mix she's clean,…read morehappy, and Andrea gave me some helpful tips for daily grooming. She smells amazing. Job well done for service paid for. She was very sweet about my chatty dog too lol! What was ok: Andrea is a dog person. Some of the comments below didn't like her customer service but remember she's a dog groomer not a people groomer. She has good boundaries which are clearly written out on the form you sign at intake. Your dogs behavior is your responsibility, so the rules are for both her and the dogs safety. What was difficult: You drop off your dog at 8 am and have to call at 11am to get a pick up time. I like to know my schedule ahead of time so it was anxious the first time I brought her. I got there early and had to wait 20 min couldn't check out early. Wish I could have but thats the thing I like about good boundaries, to be honest. She said 1:30 and by golly she meant it! Difficult the first time is all. Oh and you sign off to add a dollar for every minute she has to wait so that's anxiety inducing too since the time frame for her to finish can vary a couple of hours. Bottom line: I don't mind the list of rules that some previous posters have had issues with. The structure of her hours works well enough AND I live down the street. I scheduled a dogs next session Luckily I live down the street. Support your local businesses. It will do so much for our local economy and for your dog friends.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received. I brought my cat in and gave very clear,…read moresimple instructions: clean her ears, trim her nails, trim the hair between her paws, do a small hygiene trim near her backside, and give her a bath. I even saw them write everything down, so there should have been no confusion. To make things even worse, the employee specifically asked me if I wanted a lion cut, and I clearly said NO. Despite that, they went ahead and shaved my entire cat anyway. This was never discussed or approved. It's honestly shocking that something this drastic was done when the request was so specific and minimal. Now my cat is uncomfortable, her coat is ruined, and she's been acting stressed since the appointment. This wasn't just a small mistake--this was a complete disregard for my instructions and my pet's well-being. If you can't follow clearly written directions--or even a direct "no" to a specific question--you shouldn't be grooming animals. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet.

She did my older dog's grooming last week. When I picked him up I could see it was a poor grooming job with spots that were cut too short and dirty ears. One spot was cut right to the skin. She complained that he acted even older than he was for grooming and she had problems with him. My dog yelped at any touch to his back for a week. I had let her know he had an issue with a weak back. I believe he was especially difficult for her because she was hurting him and being too rough with him. I called and talked to the owner about this and she was apologetic. Her apologies did not help my poor dog. I won't be going back there ever again

Because of his age, he has arthritis and moves slower. Denise knows this and takes special care to be gentle with him. Her prices are half of what you would pay any where else. Denise's shop is extremely clean and is decorated like a cute little cottage. The one reviewer who mentioned that their dog got fleas after being groomed there, must have already had fleas before going there. There is no way that there is even one flea in the place! Denise takes as good care of her shop, as she does the animals she grooms. I highly recommend her.
