Still, my friend and I were seated promptly, served very promptly with a smile, got our food from the kitchen quickly, and were overall pleased with our decision to get some food. Prices are usually reasonable but I was disappointed to be charged $8.00 for a Dos Equis draft beer. My complaint was with the service. The jerk bartender with the goofy haircut had a hateful attitude. He asked me for my order as if I were an inconvenience. I didn't noticed but they were out of Guinness. When I ordered it, he snapped back at me, "We're out of Guinness.", again with a hateful attitude. In an effort to lighten the mood, I replied, "Oh, that's why you have a plastic cup over the beer tap handle." He slowly nodded his head as if to say, no shit Sherlock. At that point, I almost got up and left due his crappy attitude and clueless customer service skills. How this guy ever got a job here as a bartender is beyond me. A few minutes later, he literally tossed a drink menu in front of me. I was stunned. Reluctantly, I ordered a Dos Equis. He nodded his head, brought me Mr beer and walked away without saying a word. Crappy attitude and horrendous customer service! Ten minutes later, he tosses a food menu in front of me. I never asked for one and he came across as if to say, order some food! Screw that! $20.00 for nachos? I don't think so. Get a clue Sandia. I drank most of my beer, asked for my bill, didn't leave a tip (duh!), and walked out. I doubt I'll ever go back unless Sandia fires that scumbag bartender. He's terrible!

Had the jungle bird, which was properly bitter if you're into that. The marikoriko was sweet and fruity, way easy to drink. The Saturn was also wonderfully fruity and easy to drink. I didn't bother with the mai tai because they use kraken instead of an actual funky Caribbean rum, which is wild because they carry Meyers. Probably my biggest critique is to funkify that Mai Tai yo! Float of kraken if you must, but use some Caribbean rum in there! Service was great, atmosphere left room for improvement. Great for a casual few drinks with your meal. Solid spot! Would return again.

Dorothea's is a nice white table cloth restaurant that feels upscale but still homey enough to bring our soon to be 2 yo grandson. We had: Steamed clams 5/5: The clams were prepared, presented and flavored well. There were 2 clams that didn't open so it would have been nice if they just removed them instead of tempting us to pry them open (which would be bad clams) but the other clams were so good we wanted to open them! The sauce was a little too wine-y for me but I can see how some people would enjoy dipping the bread they give you into it. Crab mac and cheese 5/5: Wow. The bechamel sauce was so rich and creamy! Good chunks of crab made this mac and cheese so decadent! Greek salad 4/5: This was fresh and tasty but I was a little surprised by how small the salad was considering all the other dishes have such an amazing price point! It would serve once person well. Lobster pasta 5/5: Nice spicy kick that hits you later. Good chunks of lobster and the pasta was so light! I forgot to ask if it was fresh pasta or not. Maybe a question for our next visit! Niko gyro 5/5: the meat was good but what made it amazing was all those nice shoestring fries on top! The fries also had some kind of spicy pepper on top that gives it the extra kick! Traditional gyro 4/5: This was just your traditional gyro with fries. It's good but it doesn't seem fancy! Overall I love this place! The price point is amazing and if we have the time I would definitely like to come again with the family. The service was great with our waiter David filling our water glasses without us having to ask. He also cleared the table and was easy to talk to. Love this place!

My favorite were the little neck clams, lamb lollipop, and Greek plate. The Saganaki, crab stack, and tiropita were just okay. Lamb Shank: This was one of the best entrees ordered. The meat was fall apart tender and flavorful. The orzo was a little watery but was cooked to the correct doneness. Branzino: I assumed that this would be a whole branzino fish but they had already taken it apart which was nice. However, there were a couple of bones that were missed. Crab Mac: This was cheesy and very good. My only grip is that the pasta was a little overcooked. Service: 5 The servers were patient with all the questions and orders from a big group. They did not make any mistakes and food came out at good intervals. Ambiance: 5 The restaurant would be perfect for a date night. It wasn't too noisy and offered a little privacy between tables.

The soup was tasty, and the sandwich was pretty good- a little too much turkey for my taste. My husband had the mushroom peppercorn steak. It was cooked well, and he enjoyed the peppercorn sauce. She mentioned that she wished there was a little more to the salad- it was just the lettuce and steak. The last person in our party had the green chile chicken pasta. She liked it. Overall, our experience was good. I would say Tula's is fair. It's nothing to write home about, but it wasn't bad.

They do have a very nice patio but I was eating inside in lieu of out in the 95 degree heat and flies. I mentioned it to my very sweet server and she got me a battery fan to put on my table to shoo flies! (See pic) I ordered their wonderful Reuben w Caesar side and ate it with the fan shooing the flies while I ate inside. Seriously!! I did let her know the homemade croutons were stale and tough and not very edible. Service, food and drinks here are always very good and polite. I'll be back but not when the outside summer flies are taking over.

We had a reservation for 11:30am and arrived on time, but ended up waiting outside for about 10 minutes with no staff in sight. We called multiple times for assistance before anyone came out. To make matters worse, the friend who made the reservation was never informed that brunch is held in the private club and not the e restaurant, which caused unnecessary confusion right from the start. Once a waiter finally found us, we were taken to the private club where we were told they only had three brunch menu items available that day. We ordered immediately, along with waters and mimosas. Keep in mind, there were only two tables total--our group of three and another group of seven--so it wasn't busy. Despite that, service was extremely slow. It took 20 minutes just to get our mimosas, and our waters were forgotten and didn't come out until another 10 minutes later. Our food took about 40 minutes, which felt excessive given how few people were there. Even more frustrating, my friends' meals came out about 10 minutes before mine. There's really no reason meals at the same table shouldn't be served together. The food itself was just okay. The only standout was the French toast, which was actually really good--and honestly the only reason this review isn't one star. I also ordered coffee and was told they don't carry creamer, which is surprising for a place offering brunch. Our waitress rarely checked on us throughout the meal, which added to the overall lack of service. Between the confusion, long wait times, and lack of attention, this experience didn't meet expectations. I won't be returning.
