The Copper Lounge had incredibly unique cocktails and the service was unmatched. We sat at the bar and were so impressed by the cocktail menu - what a creative concept! Not only did they work hard but they were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the spirits they were serving. We didn't try to food here, but several excellent cocktails that didn't disappoint! I hope for another trip back to ABQ so I can stop in and check out the latest inventive cocktails. The menu was listed as cast of characters/script, which was lots of fun. Our group was about 20 people, which I'm sure was a challenge, but our server was great and kept us all with full glasses and no waiting. There is a small parking lot with free parking. It was full by the time I got there, but it was easy and free to park on the street nearby. They had a great selection of local beer, wine and creative cocktails. Didn't really try the food but the drinks were great. Would definitely go back!

I enjoyed my daiquiri with the Duck Hunt - smoked duck sausage, grilled onions, mustard, bourbon BBQ sauce, red chile raspberry jam, bacon bits, and cilantro. The sausage was juicy and flavorful. My husband tried the Korean corn dog and liked it, though he thought the batter closest to the dog was a bit doughy. Eating good food while doing something good for our community - I love it!

It's in a historic area but the inside is chic, modern, and lively. Bold paint colors, unique bar and table sets, and they even have chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The only caveat is that it is LOUD. Between the noise of eating, talking, and the music, it is difficult to hear each other. The service was excellent. I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout-out. He was knowledgeable about the menu and had great suggestions for drinks, appetizers and main dishes. He also, was friendly and funny, and took care of us without hovering but was somehow always there when we needed something. The food was excellent, with large portions, great flavors, clean ingredients and fresh new takes on a lot of dishes. I had the Sourdough Gnocchi with onions, brocolini, and added salmon. It was truly amazing! They had a blackberry shrub, which is non-alcoholic, that I was able to add alcohol to and it was delicious! We also had the calamari for an appetizer and it was beautifully done, perfectly cooked, with light breading, and excellent sauces to dip it in. If you haven't been, I would highly recomend you check it out!

As the sun went down, the view from the mountaintop kept changing, and every few minutes it somehow got even better. But what impressed me just as much was what was happening in the kitchen. Thoughtful wine list. Outstanding service. Comfortable atmosphere. Food that showed genuine pride and attention to detail. I honestly can't even remember which dish it was, but I do remember stopping to admire the tiny, perfectly executed petite brunoise of carrot. Nobody does that by accident. It's the kind of detail that tells you you're eating food prepared by people who truly care. The view may have brought us here. The food and hospitality will bring us back many times over.

A table with a view is not guaranteed with the fine dining reservation. Matter fact, a reservation isn't needed to dine on the fine dining side although it may state that it does online. You can walk right in and say you'd like to be seated in fine dining and they will make it happen. It sure happened. It's first come first serve on both sides regardless of what's posted. It's a restaurant after all, as they said, so money has to be made. Nonetheless, the experience itself was completely worth it. The tram ride up was not as scary as it may seem. It's about a 15 minute ride up. The main goal today was to enjoy the view and to go to dinner. If you ride the tram up without dinner, you can simply explore the area until your next ride down. As far as dinner goes, the meal was delicious. Our waiter was kind and patient with explaining a few things to us. The food didn't take long at all. We had a glass of a wine, the sandia caesar salad, and the seared sirloin. The sirloin came with some type of mash and veggies. It all paired well together. We ate, we laughed, we enjoyed the view. Don't bother making a reservation and risk losing money for booking. Go up, enjoy the view, enjoy a good meal.
