This meant a demo of wood, demo of tile, new carpentry, new tile, reinstall of a fixture, additional pipe, and new baseboards. We decided (without any pressure for add-ons) to extend the work to the whole bathroom floor instead of just the localized area. So our results feel like not just a repair, but a remodel. Things that stood out: Communication - We felt the main point of contact, Anthony, was clear and helpful through the whole process. This is true of every crew member we interactacted with as well. Questions were answered patiently, things were explained clearly, we new what to expect next, there were no overpromises. Everyone that came into our home was respectful. Our input was sought at appropriate times, and we were shown progress consistently. Execution - Everyone seemed competent and capable of the tasks at hand. The results look good, feel good, and inspire confidence. If there was a mess made, it was promptly cleaned up. If there was a concern, it was handled appropriately. Initially I was a little skeptical of the proposed timeline but after seeing the work in action it made sense and was accurate. I would advise any others to just be ready to communicate a little, and inspect the results at each stage, since there might be use of different crews for one stage or another. Outside wall and siding repair, all inside damaged interior from accident. The damage from truck took out all bathroom plumbing from all floors which was repaired by a different company. Tom subcontracted a painting company that was absolutely horrific. The worst paint job ever. Tom apologized over and over again and said if they only took time to prep... He insured me that he would fix the painting and caulking. Tom was also informed and sent a photo of a part of the siding that was not repaired around window frame. Tom came out and looked and stated he would send the siding guys out to fix what they Missed. Well, Covid Hit and of course I now had to wait for Tom to repair what need to be repaired and fix and the cracked tile in one of the bathrooms. He had now already been paid by insurance company before repairing what need to be repaired by the painters and siding guys. I did not worry as I had no doubt he would complete the job. I would send Tom Text Messages to schedule the completion of the job. He would come out look what needed to be fixed and completed. Tom would then say he would be back out in a few days to fix and complete job. Never happened!There was always a reason he couldn't come out. A death, a wedding etc. I still did not worry as I always trusted he would get the job done. Now it's May 2021. I sent Tom a text again as I had not heard from him in a while. Tom responded in a text message with a photo of himself with a mask on his face stating he was in the hospital sick. I told him no worries. After a couple months I text Tom again Aug 2021. Tom responded he was not back to work, but would be back next month. Text Tom September 2021 and related he would be out to my house. Tom finally came out. Looked over painting snd now said he was not going to repair the paint job. I was beside myself! He was not the same person I had been dealing with. He no longer could look at me and was looking at the ground as he spoke to me. He said to me, "Do you remember I gave you a $1000.00 back for the bad paint job!" I said, You did not! Why are you saying that! He then measured the tile in bathroom and said he would be out in a couple days. Tom further related he was not going to repair the siding that was missed. I was so shocked and almost in tears as this was not the person I had originally been dealing with. Couple weeks go by and Tom has yet to repair anything. Tom returns after multiple text messages to him. Measures the tile again and said he would be in contact with me. Guess what it's Nov 06 2021 and nothing has been completed. He has now blocked my phone number and is not answering text messages or email! This guy who I thought was and upstanding person turned out to be a scammer and a liar!!! I'm sure I'm not the only person he has done this to. For someone to intentionally do something like this is EVIL!! KARMA WILL FIND HIM!!!! Here is a few text from this year. Work on the original contract has never been done yet the owner claims he credited back those dollars. Impossible to keep track of when people come and go unless you have a Ring doorbell. Most days, workers showed up around 10:30 a.m. and were gone by 3:30 p.m. Take into account smoke breaks and lunch, well, you get the idea of how much work got done. We would call and text the owner and were told he'd take care of it but "it" never happened. Overruns, extra charges and delays are the norm.
