Highly recommend. They demolished and built a new front deck, tuckpointed building, rebuild chimney, did a roof repair. All communications were great, from scheduling our first meeting to review the building and get a quote, through contract and completion. Finished on time and didn't disturb the building tenants at all. Stay away from these guys. I had Rick the owner come out and he provided a quote for a small flat roof job and was ready to go. They showed up at my house last Monday unloaded they truck and then next thing I know they disappeared. I called Rick's cellphone and he said there was still ice up there so would have to come back later and that was the last I heard of them. I called the office and Rick's cell a bunch of times with no return calls and then finally I got Sam from the office on the phone and he told me that they got a big contract and wouldn't be able to address my small flat roof until the end of the Summer. Keep in mind this is a portion of a roof on an addition that was put on in 2001 so it isn't like it is a debacle at all. Granted there needs to be a little extra work addressing scuppers but shouldn't be out of the realm of what they purport to do for a living and quite honestly the quote reflected that as it was 50% higher than the other quote I received from someone else but just didn't get a good feeling from the other company. Bottom line is these guys are extremely unprofessional and practice poor business practices. A call back giving me the BS line about not being able to do the job until the end of Summer so I could have continued my search would have been in order. read more

I highly recommend, as they respond quickly, their work is high quality and service is amazing. My first job was a leaking roof. Part of the roof was steep, while other parts were flat. Samuel was out the same day to take a look and walked me through the various options. He had a quote prepared for me later that day. My friend works on roof insurance claims and I sent her their detailed quote. She said it was very thorough and included all the components of a high quality roof (types of materials, installation process, etc.). Work started right away. Samuel's crew did a great job. He kept me informed and the job was completed quickly. A few months later I needed to raise the height of the block walls surrounding my garage deck. I sent Samuel a message and he was out the same day to take a look and provided a quote later that day. Once again the work was completed quickly over the next week. They also did some tuckpointing on the front of the house, which also looks good. There are a few other negative reviews and I was skeptical but I honestly think those bad reviews at least percentage wise don't tell the truth about this business. STAY AWAY FROM EXPERT SUPER SEAL AND ROOFING. I would caution you to read the other reviews prior to making any decision with this company. Rick, one of the co-owners and estimator, came out to our property last Monday. It has been a week and we have not received a bid or proposal of work to be done. My wife and I were initially impressed with Rick's knowledge of roofing and what he said he could do to help repair the roof. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. I have tried calling and texting him multiple times without a response. When I called the company's main line at (773) 993-5668, I spoke to someone who said that they would get me an estimate by Monday. When Monday came, I called the main line again and they said that because the estimator has mixed up my notes that it would take time to come up with an estimate. That's when I suggested to the representative to have Rick or another estimator come back to the property. The representative refused my request and told me to reach out to Rick for the estimate. Why am I having to chase an estimate from this company? I am appalled by the lack of customer service from this company. I called them on a Thursday and they answered the phone, which was a pleasant surprise. I explained that I had a leak coming off the front of my building and he set an appointment for the coming Saturday. They failed to show up however and did not even call. Sam and the guys were extremely friendly, professional and responsive from the moment I called them. They were recommended to me from another roofing company that was too busy to take the job. Sam came over that same evening and walked me through the potential roof repairs. That same evening, he sent me two quotes detailing everything that would be done to it. After getting a couple other quotes over the course of the next week, he was on standby, but the minute I emailed him to begin the job, he was there the next day. They resealed my roof, which had many air pockets as you can see from the before and after pictures. Sam was extremely responsive throughout the day and talked me through the whole process. Although I am providing a great review, I feel compelled to let customers know my story. The workers were prompt in responding and completed the job in a timely manner. They did not leave a mess on my property and took care of our needs. My problem is with Rick, the person who gave the estimate. He quoted me one price for a job and then tried to charge me extra upon completion. I asked him to write everything up but he did not and the workers just started the job. Since they did not finish it all in one day, they returned on day two to finish. Well, apparently Rick did not supervise the crew because he stated that they had done more than what was agreed upon and expected and attempted to charge me an additional $600.00 on top of what was he had previously stated. Initially I said I would pay it because I did not want bad business but when I thought about it and talked it over with my husband, he said "we are absolutely not paying that!" It seemed as if he just threw more numbers out for whatever reason. When I spoke to him to let him know that we had already paid the price that we agreed upon, he was rude and just hung up the phone on me. Who does that? This literally just happened (Saturday, 3.12.2022) Be careful, Rick seems like a shyster. Other than that, all went well. read more

Sam and his crew did a great job replacing the flat roof on our 100+ year old brick building. The job ended up being much bigger than was originally anticipated. The cost was revised to reflect the added work and materials but seemed fair. What impressed us was the immediate response to our questions and concerns and how efficiently and expertly the job was performed despite the unforeseen necessity of replacing rotten roof joists, decking and repairing turret walls. The team completed spot tuck-pointing and sealing of our split-faced brick (3-Flat). We also had overgrowth of vines up an entire wall of our building that they removed. Sam was great throughout the process. Very responsive when I first sought quotes and it continued through to the finish. Keep in mind that weather is a factor, but Sam was able to start early and they finished early. They did a nice job and solved some identified internal water leaks. It's a relief to have this corrected and the job done hassle free. My HOA sought 6 quotes and ESSRT was in competitve range. I recommend checking these guys out! read more

We called this company to make repairs on the roof of our business, they gave us a quote and we agreed on that price. They were shown where the leaks were and after 3 days completed the job and they were paid in full before they left. We were told by Rick there was a 12 month guarantee. After 2 weeks the roof started to leak again from the same places. I called them back and they told me in a week or two when the weather gets better they will come out again. No one showed up. In the past 4 months I have called back at least 11 times. First it was we will send some one out then it was Rick will call you back , and now they wont answer my call. This company does not stand behind their work and will not honor there warranty!. Stay away!!! read more

Excellent work completed on time and at a fantastic price. I went out for three bids to have work done on my roof that included resealing around the dormer, applying a reflective coating to the roof, and reattaching some loose gutters. Sam was the first to respond and offered to do the work at the lowest price. Later, when I had some additional water intrusion trouble, he was the only person to not inspect the roof (it's treacherous to navigate if you're not sure what you're looking for), but also to successfully identify the problem. Samuel from Expert Super Seal Roofing came out quickly and provided an estimate for tuckpointing and roofing work to correct several intermittent leaks I have had over several years. They had many good recommendations in the process and pointed out several deficiencies in the existing roof that were likely causing the problems. I trusted their recommendations and they came out within the next several days (actually on a Sunday because I was anxious to get it done!) and completed the work. They were able to setup and get to some very hard reach locations. They also did some tuckpointing and brick work at the same time that was key to my project.
