What can I say about Timsi to do justice to how amazing her work is! Timsi was my first choice of make up artist in the Bay Area for my wedding and I ended up loving her work during the trial. I didn't need to schedule any more trials with anyone else. I got lucky that she was available for both days of my wedding - the Mehndi on Friday & the Ceremony/Reception on Saturday. I wanted two very different looks on both days, dramatic and heavy for Friday and lighter, subtle and more dewy for the Saturday vineyard wedding. It's very clear to see that Timsi is a true professional, takes time to understand her client's needs and desires, and even though she requests a lot of information up front before and during the trial, it makes you know she is extra efficient on your big day. Timsi took thorough notes of my preferred styles and was patient when showing me different choices based on what I wanted. Furthermore, she went above and beyond to make recommendations that may be outside my comfort zone, but the time and professionalism she puts into her work, you can trust that the end result will be exactly what you want! There were cases where I wasn't able to properly articulate what I wanted exactly, but Timsi was patient, creative and experimental. My hair & make up turned out beautiful on both days. Her Indian looks are actually really unique in that they are very "natural" looking, which is exactly what I was looking for. Let me start by saying, I'm not really a make-up girl. My daily "makeup" routine involves lotion on my facial and lip balm. This is a long overdue review for Timsi. So, I was looking for MUA 2 weeks before my wedding date (talk about last minute planning!) and Timsi came to my rescue!. This was the best thing that happened to me. She answered all my questions over phone/text very promptly and put me to ease. Timsi was kind enough to come to my place for trial in the evening, that is after I got back from work at 7pm. 2 things that really stood out for me is the balance she achieves between what I wanted and her creative side - she is super at that. She will understand everything that you want in terms of makeup shades/hairstyle and will be open to suggest if something may not look good on you. And the other thing - she will continue till the minute the client is happy. Love her commitment, she actually spend more time during trial than on the day of wedding. In that way we had my look nailed much in advance. She was such a sweetheart that she even helped pick out hair accessories and giving me constant assurance that everything is falling in place (you know the jitters that every bride has on the wedding day).
