I really wanted to give Gina 5 stars, and if I had written it the day I came in, it would have been. My hair stylist that I was going to for a few years left the salon that I was going to, so I was trying to find another one that does layered hair cuts like how I'm used to. Gina seemed like a good fit based on the pictures and reviews, so I decided to give her a try. Gina was very nice, and the time it took her to cut the hair was pretty quick and I thought that was a good thing. My hair was down to my waist, and I just wanted my hair cut to mid-back, with layers in the front. After the cut, she blow dried it with a round brush, so the ends curled in, which is a nice look for me for hair that length. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the first layer on one of the sides was noticeably longer than the other side and the layers weren't balanced. I didn't notice it in the salon or in the parking lot afterwards because it was curled in and the layers looked ok. It until that night after I washed my hair and dried it straight that I've first noticed it, but I was so busy the day after that I didn't even think about it. I only just noticed it again the day after that (today) while I'm sitting down at another hair salon getting it highlighted (I've been going to that salon for over 10 years for coloring, so I do my cut/coloring separate). So I'd recommend that if you're doing a layered cut, to check it and have it checked when it's dried straight to make sure the layers are balanced on each side. It's harder to spot when it's styled/curled. read more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GINA!!! I came in with black roots and pre processed red/ bleached hair and thought it couldn't be saved. Gina's technique is so great that she cut off 3 hours of dyeing time that other salons wouldve taken. I thought my hair would take 6 hours but she managed to do everything in three. First time getting my haircut with Gina and she listened to me very well. Having read most of the review before I booked her I can confirm they are mostly accurate. She does an amazing cut with scissors that delivers a simple, bouncy, clean elegant healthy cut. She listened to all my concerns and do exactly what I asked and needed from her to fix my damaged hair. My haircut is longer on one side and the layering is choppy (looks like a staircase). The color also never showed up and my hair color looks the same as before my appt.
