    David's Salon is to go for hair color they have great group of professionals hairstylist who coordinates whether which color every hair stylist should use depending on the clients hair color request; They will make that happen for you. My hairstylist is James he's the best 10 for him. I've been going to David's Salon for 3 years now! Nobody can beat their skills.

    I have been to the David Salon twice now in the past 6 months. Both of my appointments were with Brie (at the recommendation of a close friend) and she is the absolute TITS! She did the best cut/color job that I have ever had and I will keep coming back as a repeat customer. Thanks, Brie and the David Salon!

    READ, ACTION REQUIRED. James at David Salon is NOT A BEAUTICIAN!!! Ladies beware, the man is a MAGICIAN!! I can't tell you the compliments I have received from men and women loving my hair transformation and wanting his number. Why James? He is detailed, he lets you choose, and if you want his input he will advise. He is not chop happy! He cares, smells fantastic, and is hilarious. Oh, but besides looking fabulous my other favorite James trait is that he shows you how to fix your hair. No more only having great hair when you leave the salon. He shows you how to do the same. Look me up, I don't leave reviews. So, writing this is risky bc if he is over booked, I would be devastated nonetheless I would wait in the parking lot!!     Stefani did a fantastic job on my balayage!!! I wanted a look that was fun and easy to maintain. She recommended a balayage. She also gave me some really good tips on how to maintain healthy hair. :-) She's truly an expert in her industry.

She told the front desk, and they reassured her their products are vetted and they take "non-toxic" seriously, so she trusted them. During the facial, they applied a product that was visibly blue. After the service, the technician recommended the same product...so my wife asked to see the ingredients. Only then did we learn the product contains synthetic TOXIC dye/blue coloring and other ingredients that don't align with "organic/non-toxic" marketing that is ALL over their blogs and website - after it had already been smeared all over her face. Skin is the largest organ in the body, and with her sensitivity this is not a small issue. This was also for my wife's birthday, and instead of feeling cared for, she left feeling misled and completely violated. Our trust is broken. She brought her own products to use but they ensured that they could be trusted...... I emailed management and never received a response...3 weeks later, still nothing.

Aside from briefly saying my nose was good, nearly everything else was framed as needing work. I was then presented with a treatment plan labeling the following as high priority / urgent, to be repeated annually: * Temple filler * Tear trough / eye filler * Smile line (nasolabial) filler * Marionette line filler In addition, the plan recommended ongoing filler or procedures including: * Lip filler (every 6 months) * Chin filler * Jawline filler * PRF injections every 4-6 weeks * Kybella for the jaw/chin fat * Neck line filler * PRP microneedling facials every 3 months This felt excessive and sales-driven for someone who came in seeking a long term maintenance plan, not overhaul. There was little discussion of restraint, prioritization, or doing nothing. I was also handed an iPad to review procedures while the provider left the room multiple times, which felt uncomfortable from a professionalism and privacy standpoint. This approach may work for some, but I would urge caution, especially for anyone insecure about their appearance. I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. And I am very happy with myself and my appearance.

Once my acne was under control, I moved on to laser treatments to help with scarring and pigmentation, and the improvement has been life changing. This place truly feels like a second home. My insurance declined the payment at the time, and Dr. James kindly gave me a discount to help me out. That left such a good impression on me that I continued coming back afterward. Even when I previously had an allergic reaction to medication prescribed here, I chose not to complain because I trusted this clinic. So when my lips suddenly became swollen this time, this clinic was still the first place I came to. Unfortunately, this experience felt completely different. The front desk staff simply kept repeating that I had to pay $150 and made no effort to communicate my situation to Dr. James. Ironically, when I explained my insurance situation to the doctor directly, he did try to check for me. After my surgery, I still had questions about the procedure itself and wanted to briefly speak with the doctor again, but the front desk just told me there would be post-care later. I understand doctors are busy, and I was completely willing to wait. I had just undergone a small surgery, asking to briefly speak with my doctor should not feel like asking for a special privilege. Her tone makes me feel like I need her approval and she is the security to guard the doctor. All of these was not an issue when I was in the DTLA location, the doctor always follow-up a little bit when I check out and both the cashier and front desk are friendly. Costa Mesa and DTLA locations gave me completely different experiences. After being a customer for years, what disappointed me most was that the attitude only became nicer after I expressed how upset I was. Why I should even have to argue with her when my lip is still numb? If the front desk staff's role is mainly financial and they do not have basic people skills, then they should not be in a front desk position at a medical clinic. A professional front desk staff member should at least show some level of care and empathy toward patients, especially patients who just underwent a small surgery and are already stressed or uncomfortable.

I never felt pressured to use the entire syringe, which made me feel like the focus was truly on achieving the right result rather than just using product. Overall, Maddie listened closely to what I wanted and made sure we stayed aligned throughout the process. The experience felt collaborative, comfortable, and customized to my goals.
