Tim pulled the pan on the tranny and the pan residue didn't look like a normal blown tranny.

Keep in mind that they take up front payment to offset any liability given the transplant doesn't take. There were some hiccups that could've prevented the feat but the transmission provider, Randy and the rest of the A&A team pulled it off. Appreciate the help and would recommend to people willing to take unconventional routes to repair their older model vehicles.

I didn't listen to the negative reviews. I just had it dead set in my head that the bad reviews of…read morethe service wouldn't happen to me. Took my car in, they had it for 4 hours. They called me and told me it was done. They must be miracle workers if they can pull, rebuild and re-install a transmission in 4 hours. I got the car back, and it was worse than when I dropped it off. Now instead of banging into 2nd, it was a long soft shift (probably burning the torque converter up). They said it would "wear in" and the problem would clear up. I owned the car for 15 years, and it never was "fine" after that. I also noticed at that time, that they put a hole in the coolant line, to which they charged me another $195 to fix even though I'm certain it was their fault. About a week later, I noticed that all they did was put on about 50 cents worth of rubber hose and 2 clamps and charged me $195 for that! I literally scrapped the car because they ruined it. Why I didn't just pay more and take it to ETE I'll never know. Never, ever again. RUN!

I live in Grafton, about 40 miles away from his shop, and gladly trailer my cars 45 minutes each way for the quality service he provides. I wish I'd found him earlier. His guys always get the job done, they know exactly what to do and they make sure it's done right. On multiple occasions they've gone the extra mile for a repair. For example, I went to pick up my 1985 Corvette once and one of the techs was just finishing up hosing out the radiator ducting of leaves that had accumulated--and the repair wasn't even related to that. Bill knows Corvettes inside and out and, despite always being busy, is willing to take the time to talk about an issue and convey what he knows and recommends. I live in fear that he'll retire one day soon--I'm not sure who I'll trust my Vettes with in the future were that to happen. Yelp! I'm begging you not to sideline this review as "not recommended." This is a legitimate review based on years of experience and numerous transactions with the reviewed company.

We were recommended to Bill's by a friend. We were new customers and they fit us in even though they were busy. They got the hitch off for us no problem. Date of visit: November 24, 2025…read more I came here as another dealership had indicated that my starter was beginning to go and should be replaced before it failed completely. I made the appointment online and arrived early for the appointment. After a short wait, I met with the service advisor who was very puzzled by my ask stating that "starters did not wear out," and asked me to start the car. We headed out into the garage area and I started the car. He was able to diagnose that the hesitation in the car starting was that it was not a Volkswagen battery and was not "coded" to the car. I confirmed that it was a battery from Advance Auto Parts because of the astronomical battery cost through the dealer. While cheaper, these batteries will wear out sooner as they drain faster because of the lack of "coding." This had never been mentioned to me before. Now I don't know who to trust and while I am grateful for not spending several hundred dollars on something I didn't need, have I been suckered into believing I need a VW battery in less than a year? And why didn't anyone look at my appointment and ask that before I drove 30 minutes to Hales Corners?

Going in, I was expecting the worst because people online make it seem like the dealership is terrible, but that wasn't true at all in my case. The staff was friendly right away and took the time to actually look at my headlights and talk through what was going on without brushing me off or trying to upsell anything. Even though it wasn't a major service visit, they still treated it seriously and made sure I understood everything. It felt like they genuinely cared about helping rather than just making money, which is something you don't always expect at a dealership. Honestly, I think a lot of the negative reviews are overblown or don't reflect how they actually treat customers. My experience was smooth, respectful, and helpful, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.
