    All the oil and toppings

We decided to stop by for some pizza after hearing TNT had opened a location much closer to us. We'd never tried it before, but we've always heard great things about the original location, so we were excited to give it a try. The menu had a good variety of options, including specialty pizzas or the ability to build your own. They also offer several styles, including Detroit, New York, and Grandma style. We ordered the Large Marge in Detroit style. We expected the wait to be a little longer since Detroit-style pizza takes more time to make, plus it was a newly opened restaurant with staff still getting into the flow. The wait was noticeable but actually shorter than I had anticipated. When our pizza arrived, the first thing I noticed was that we were given a New York Style Pizza not the Detroit Style we ordered . We didn't want to say anything because we were hungry and didn't want to wait even longer. It also wasn't very hot, almost as if it had been sitting for a few minutes before being served. As for the pizza itself, it was just okay. It was extremely oily, very floppy, and the toppings kept sliding off each slice, which made it difficult to eat. I'm hoping this was simply the result of a soft opening and the normal growing pains that come with a new location. I'd definitely be willing to give them another chance down the road. However, if this is the standard experience, I'm not sure it's worth the price, especially with so many excellent pizza options in San Diego. At this point, I don't know if we'd return.

Beer taps still in place? Beer soon I hope??

This is a very nostalgic old school pizza joint for anyone unfamiliar with TNT. This is a very anticipated location we have waited what feels like years for; The pizza is true to its heritage while I really wish the pies in the case were labeled more then vegan, vegetarian or meat Idk what I ordered it looked good in the case it was delicious though I'm assuming something with hot honey? Either way it was devoured I wish there was another slice in the case Slices are about $4-5 each depending on speciality Detroit etc but they are generously portioned and served at a great temp to enjoy right away without burning the roof of your mouth I am hopeful the beer taps will be available soon I'd love to enjoy a slice and a beer at the bar one day but for now they had water and canned sodas There are plenty of booths and space along the bar Well def be back can't wait to see this spot make its mark on 3rd Avenue

Great layout. Hopefully they show signs of improvement.

Well wanted to give this place a try. The decor and vibe was amazing. I honestly would have been more excited and given a positive review. Having the open restaurant concept with no windows or doors. Allowing a bit of a fly issue. Seeing a fly inside the food case was the downside. I also think there should be a better options of the types of of pizza displayed as many were the same and didn't have much variation except the style. Shortly after ordering they put a more desired choice. So again they could have communicated and said in about 20 min there is going to be a different pizza. Also the pizza crust was basic ,nothing super exciting .So maybe a one off . Will give it a try again when craving pizza and just try maybe in the evening.

TNT Pizza has Detroit style pizza, I got the veggie pizza and a pepperoni pizza, the soft dough is what I liked the most. Service was good we got our food in 10 minutes. The Venue has a cozy feel a great add on to third avenue Chula Vista expanding the variety of the town!

Love pizza joints that sell "slices". And its not just 2-4 different kinds its more like 8-10 choices!! They also sell 3 different styles (NY, Detroit, grandma). Service is friendly but if there's a line it might take awhile to place your order, But once u do maybe 5-8min for them to heat it up.

    Single sliced pizza

3rd time going there and I know not my last. Their ranch has to be the best I've tried, it's a must now with my pizza. The pizza and thin and crispy but not hard. The sauce to cheese ratio is perfect. Their pepperoni jalapeño pizza is great but my favorite has to be a meat pizza was a red sauce drizzled over it. I'm sorry I don't know the name. It's the two slices to the left in the picture. I've only ever seen a singular worker so a line does form but the wait has been no more than 6 minutes at most. Plenty of seating area, large TV(watch the Spain Vs Argentina game there). They seem to have a mini arcade in the back. I personally haven't checked it out yet.

Great new spot in DT Chula Vista, Third Ave. Grandmas Margarita Pizza with Sausage, very, very, good with fresh ingredients. TV with FIFA Soccer with booths or bar to enjoy. Glad to have you as a new neighbor & looking forward to coming back often! We tried the slices first to get the lay of the land New York style cheese pizza, New York sausage pep w/jalapeno & Grandmas style margarita pizza, all excellent! Then we ordered the whole pizza, 1/2 margarita only, 1/2 with sausage, yummy!!!!! New favorite spot & we can walk here!

TNT Pizza offers a pickle-topped pizza if you love a tangy twist. Note that the house ranch dressing also has a distinct pickle base.

But these guys are reasonably priced and the quality of the food was amazing. I got 2 pizzas ( buffalo chicken ) and ( plain ) for my wife and I and we both admit this was phenomenal. I also got some wings ( also reasonably priced ) other places often casually charge $2.5 per wing for some trash wings. But these wings were good quality not the gigantic ones that are juiced up. The wings were smaller and more natural as they should be. Definitely recommend this'll become my families pizza spot for sure.

We ordered the Meats Pizza, spaghetti, a mushroom calzone, and a salad, and every single dish was outstanding. The pizza crust was absolutely delicious, the calzone was perfectly made, and the spaghetti sauce was one of the best I've had in a very long time. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into the food. What made our visit truly unforgettable, though, was the customer service. A young man, only 14 years old, helped us, and I was genuinely amazed by his professionalism. His warm personality, calm demeanor, and the way he spoke to us reflected a level of hospitality you would expect at a first-class restaurant. Even though the restaurant was very busy, he never made us feel rushed. Since it was our first visit, he patiently answered every question, explained the menu, described the portions, and helped us choose exactly what we wanted. His confidence, kindness, and genuine desire to help made our experience truly exceptional. If you appreciate outstanding food and exceptional customer service, Bambino is a place you should absolutely visit. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Great food brings people in, but exceptional service creates lifelong customers--and that's exactly what happened with us.

I expected the chicken bake to be similar in shape to Costco's, so I was surprised when it came out looking more like a calzone. We asked about it, and the employee said, "That's how we're making them right now." I am not sure whether they only make them this way for the daily special, but the shape made it much harder to eat. There was a slit cut into the dough before baking, which created a hole for the filling to ooze out whenever I tried to pick it up to eat. I eventually to cut it into pieces, and it became a mess. The bacon was also disappointing because it did not have the texture of fully cooked, crispy bacon, it was more like raw uncooked bacon. The only thing the chicken bake really had going for it was the generous size. Since I ordered it as the Friday special, the price was more reasonable, but I would have been very disappointed paying the regular price of around $15 for it. Other than the size, I would rather go to Costco for a chicken bake. The Sopranos Supreme pizza was okay, but it was a little too saucy for our preference. Nothing about it really stood out to us. Overall, the chicken bake was especially disappointing, and we probably would not order either item again.

The chicken bites are so crispy, the buffalo is just the right amount of tang and spice. I am personally not a fan of the cheese bits (I forgot to ask them to remove them with ordering), but they're pretty easy to pick off. I think they're blue cheese? Not sure, but not my favorite. It didn't ruin the dish however for me! The pizza is the classic if I'm not wrong. Pepperoni, mozzarella, and basil. The crust is thin, perfectly toasted where you get just the right amount of crunch when you reach the crust. The crust isn't heavy or thick. Personally, I think one pizza could be enough for one person if you're only eating pizza. I can't wait to return and try more off their menu!

The manager was just as useless, he stood in the back, both staring while they talked about how they could move tables together. The girl at the bar did nothing but stare. Finally they said they could move the tables together. They moved them, placed napkins on it and then the hostess came back to the front and folded napkins. Didn't say we could sit, nobody came to tell us it was ready, they just sat there staring and folding napkins. We waited another 5 minutes and nobody said anything to us, so we ended up going to another pizza sit down chain where we were seated with excellent service, and everyone working was not socially inept. Such a shame, we always had excellent service here, and didn't feel like we were inconveniencing them by wanting to eat here.

The first was when I was about six-years old and I ate some of the best pizza in my life at that point on the patio during a sunny day while my older sister and her girl scout troop had a party event. The second, my Dad was when my Dad treated me to a mouth-watering and fresh Turkey submarine sandwich after my Confirmation, when I was about 16-years-old. Those were the days, yes, indeed. Forward to present day, and this deli is still unequivocally, one of my favorites spots to grab lunch or dinner. The staff consisting of a very diligent family are always polite and loquacious. The family certainly takes pleasure in making sure all customers are welcomed with open arms. During the past decade or so, the quality of food has not deteriorated. The pizza is always fresh, and hits the spot. I suggest ordering the 20-inch or 28-inch for events such as a movie night, boxing fight-night matches, or a birthday party for your son and/or daughter or for a family-gathering event in general. The crust from the pizza is thick and slightly crunchy...sometimes, I tear off some parts of the crust and save it for later. The selection of toppings are plenty and just enough to create the pizza to your liking. I would say the toppings are from the old-school style of pizza joints....ya know, that 1980's-style feel. As for the sandwiches, I have to refrain from ordering two! The bread is moist, delicious and pairs well with the choice of sub you select. I must warn you, it can be overwhelming with all the choices the deli has to serve. The Philly Steak is one, if not the best I have consumed in San Diego county. The other subs I suggest are: Turkey, ham and cheese, a Turkey sub, Pastrami sandwich and the gyro. I sincerely hope you will not be disappointed when you try what the deli has to offer. In addition, for the appetizers, the French fries, fried zucchini, and cheese garlic bread are supreme and premium side snacks to add if you are feeling voracious and ravenous. And, who knows, you may see Mario Lopez there during your visit. *Side Notes*: Parking lot is never crowded to a point where you become frustrated, the front entrance is visible and you will not miss the turn to drive inside the parking lot, and the establishment is easy to locate off the 805 freeway or if you are traveling from the roads.
