I been a loyal customer to TNT in Tulare ca. for about 4 years now until today.I was checking all the fluids in my car when I pulled out the dipstick for the engine oil it was dry. It was not marking that it had engine oil. So I added a quart of oil and it still was dry it didn't mark. So long story short it was short by 2.5 quarts. I talk to Kieth the manager of TNT and he said it was normal oil consumption that he gets new cars in there all the time 1-2 quarts short. What kieth didn't know is that my Man & Dad are mechanic and I told him that he wasn't normal at all .Kieth didn't even offer to fix the issue so I would suggest if you do decide to go there to check your oil yourself before leaving or just go somewhere else read more

This place is great! I hate dealing with car stuff because I don't know much about it (dumb girl probs) and I feel like everyone is trying to cheat me (paranoid girl probs?) But since this place is down the street from my work, I started taking it here for oil changes. The prices are comparable to other places and only takes 5 minutes. Plus they offer coupons online. Today I took my car in to get my brakes replaced and they did it in a timely manner, inflated my tires for free, and gave me a free car wash. This place is super cheap to get your smog done here. I only paid 40 dollars for a smog that included the certificate. The customer service is friendly and fast. I was in and out of there in 20 min. After I paid the services, they gave me a complimentary coupon for a car wash that included 10 dollars off my oil change. The reason I gave this place 4 stars is because they I informed me that my smog goes straight to the DMV via computer, 2 hours later I called to renew my tags over the phone and they still didn't receive anything about my smog. Every time we take our vehicles there the next week the tire pressure suddenly goes low. When they "check" the tires I can only guess they're doing something wrong. After posting this on Facebook several friends have had same issue. When I called to let manager Keith know, he got defensive and rude. "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" Shouldn't a manager know what to do? Come on! Won't be going back there. And, now I need to have a once over on our vehicle to make sure they didn't do anything else wrong to it. Wow, was I just treated really bad by Gary and Jason at TNT Automotive in Tulare, CA! My car's air conditioner is not blowing cool air and it is supposed to be in the 90's this weekend. In a pinch, because my regular car guy is closed on the weekends, I tried TNT. I thought they should be half way decent since they have been open for almost as long as I've been alive. Wrong! I called ahead of time to make sure someone was available to service my vehicle and when to bring it in. The response was yes, someone was available and bring it in anytime. When I got there, I was greeted by Jason who was less than interested in assisting me and spent most of his lacking energy on being rude. Then I get passed off to Gary, the technician. He took the time to ask me if the air conditioner was working at all. When I advised that is was working, but blowing warm air and probably needed a Freon recharge, he hem-hawed saying he had 2 smog checks ahead of me and there MIGHT be another smog check coming in later. Ok, so someone who MIGHT come in later is put in line ahead of me? Um, I don't think so. To be honest, and my husband pointed this out, Gary seemed like he just didn't want to do it. Gary did suggest taking my vehicle to one of the other places in town. You know what, Gary? I will certainly follow you advise and take my business somewhere else seeing that you don't WANT it! I will continue to take my business and spend my hundreds of dollars on a potentially expensive repair to Ben Thrasher's also in Tulare; they treat you with common decency and are trustworthy there!!! read more

NEVER AGAIN!!!! I waited 2 hours after being checked in. They took my keys, took my mileage and I waited. After two hours the technician berated me saying that I should know better than to try and smog a car with a check engine light on. I told him that the engine light was due to a power steering issue and not emission related. He then proceeded to say things to me like, "You can't cheat the system, You should have taken it to a technician not a mechanic, This is the law, not a game!" Really??!! I was not trying to do anything of the sort. There was NO reason I needed to be spoken to this way. When they initially took my mileage they could have simply said, I see a check engine light on and we cannot run your smog until it has been fixed. They would have saved my time and I would have returned to them once done. My fix was not emission related and easily passed smog at another location, the next day.
