For a spur-of-the moment jewelry change and piercing desire, they fit me in right away! I live down the road and called ahead to verify hours and availability--they were wide open! Dria is a tattoo artist & piercer, with PHENOMENAL work and talent. She made me feel welcome and comfortable from the moment I set foot in the studio. Though my ears heal well, Dria pointed out the piercer that did my Flat pierced it at an odd or even incorrect angle, but was still able to remove & replacement my problematic jewelry. The studio IS small, but the vibe is cozy and casual. It really is a comfortable shop! Piercings, tattoos or new jewelry--You should look HERE first. They are fantastic!

My husband and I came in as a walk in looking for small matching tattoos. We came with an idea and Isaac helped bring it to life. Professional, accommodating, and super cool guys! Glad we found them. Thank you Isaac for being apart of something so special to us!

Very nice clean shop, everyone was nice and easy to talk too. Heather did a great job on my puppy's memorial tattoo.

It took me about 30 min from walk-in to get in the chair. My artist was Heather and not only did she do an amazing job, she was super light handed and made sure to check in periodically since the piece was pretty big. On top of that everyone was super welcoming and friendly. I'd 100% recommend getting inked with them of you want top quality.

Miles did shading and color I asked for and he did outstanding work!

Another update since I got my first tattoo here yesterday, Bailey the tattooist was great and had me comfortable the whole time. I was scared yes, but pain wise I didn't feel much... it just felt like a lot of scratches and vibrations. and as far as after tattoo cleaning, Bailey did a good job explaining what and what not to use. First tattoo, check! Mask were worn at all times, and make sure to bring cash because they didn't do card when I went. However, they do have an atm inside the place so you're good with that. You could request an appointment but you are required to pay a down payment which I didn't do, otherwise walk ins are welcome too. I happened to just do a walk in and got helped right then and there.

When relying on past Yelp reviews pays off...I was looking for a good place to get a tattoo for my husband's birthday present. I sent inquiries to multiple shops even though I was highly interested in TNT. The owner responded right away but basically said we had to go in person to set an appointment. A few weeks pass and we finally go on Saturday when they opened. It's downstairs of Dixie Grill. We asked for an experienced artist who specialized in Japanese tattoos and Shane Harvey was recommended. He was working that day and took measurements of my husband's leg and photos. We paid $100 deposit to set an appointment and in a few days Shane sent renderings via text. Shane worked with my husband on refining it and by Thursday night a concept became a permanent, beautiful, detailed perfect piece of art. The actual inking time was faster than expected, about 4 hours. My husband is thrilled with his present and the entire experience.

These guys are kinda garbage walked in to get a pretty simple black and grey scale design on my leg in December. The tattoo artist said bet. flailed with drawing of the stencil for a hr the other artist thought this was hilarious. then once he got it decided to do his own thing good thing its on the back of my leg and probably savable by a decent artist.

Shane was our artist. My sister and I got matching tattoos. I also got a small broken heart tattoo. In addition he colored in a heart on a tattoo and helped to make a flower tattoo better. He was friendly and worked fast. My total for 2 tattoos, a touch up and adding color to a heart for $300. This is soo much cheaper than I would have paid in California. Look no further! This is the spot. Our to go guys are Bailey and Tiki. This was my first time and 3rd tattoo for my partner in crime. These guys are super funny and informative on the many questions I had. They made sure tattoo locations were in the right spot and made sure I was comfortable. They do get HANGRY overtime so take them some cookies. I overheard Bailey say Subway had the best. All jokes aside I was very satisfied with both there work. I have had an awesome experience getting two tattoos on two different days. Super clean, very friendly, and of course awesome job! Dani is awesome and her craft speaks for itself. There are a lot of sacred heart tattoo shops but the one in Aiea was great. Good parking as well. read more

First of all, I love this shop! The guys there are the absolute best! Went to TNT tattoo to fix up an old tat. Kevin (IG- @Justride_hawaii) didn't fix it. He gave my tat life! I will post a before and after pic of it. Shop is located near Dixie grill. Definitely worth it. read more

Extremely rude, walked in the building and not a single person acknowledged us. People where outside and inside, after about 30 minutes of complete silence towards us, we decided to go somewhere else. If you are in need of a tattoo and in this area, I recommend American Made Tattoo in Aiea! They are about 5 minutes down the road and are super friendly and clean! read more

Went in as a walking as I spontaneously wanted to get my cartilage repierced. I got charged $70 for it, everyone's saying I got ripped off :( I came here the first time and he charged me $50. idk why it went up I had bad timing as I had to wait 1-2hrs for the guy who does the piercing to come back from him lunch. Ugh me. read more

Called to see if they walk ins for a small simple tattoo on finger and they did. When I got in was greeted and helped immediately. Heather explained to me that with finger tattoo it will be better with just single letter and not what I originally wanted. Instead I got what I wanted on my wrist and am inlove with it. Quick in and out piercing procedure! Prior I had contacted them and had a quick response, the place is very clean and honestly I might come back for a navel piercing as well.. but other than that thank you!! I love it! Omgosh, when you want a professional tattoo artist to tattoo your dear pet on your skin, from a photograph, be sure to ask for Christian. A fine young man, with an ole soul, a great eye for detail, shading, straight lines & color. Overall great artist there, piercing pro Geoff, other tattoo artists Kevin, Bailey & Bitty. Five stars for sterile technique and custom design along my scar line. Shop banter was a bit off-putting for a newbie, but improved as the shop got busy. Overall, a good experience. read more

Dropped by TNT yesterday for a nose piercing. Geoff was amazing! I've gotten my nose pierced 3 times prior, at other piercing shops, but this was by far the best experience. Geoff was friendly, and made the piercing fast and painless. If you're looking for a piercer, ask for Geoff. He did an awesome job! I love it! read more

All of their jewelry was stored in plastic containers where the employees were just digging through, without gloves (SO unsanitary), to find the jewelry that the customers wanted. I wanted titanium flat backs because I'm allergic to sterling silver and I don't heal well if it is pierced with steel. The girl who pierced me looked through all the containers before finding 3 gold colored titanium flat backs with silver colored titanium ball toppers. The piercing process started out okay, she cleaned off the area, although not very thoroughly, and marked where she was going to pierce and let me see before she started the process. I don't think they sterilized the jewelry before they pierced me either, even though different, ungloved, employees were digging around in the jewelry boxes just before. She opened a new needle and started on my lobes, these were pretty smooth. The biggest issue came when she started on my mid helix. Told me take a deep breath and she pushed the needle through, then went to guide the jewelry in, but could only get it HALFWAY. I heard her whisper "oh shoot" under her breath before proceeding to try multiple times to push the jewelry all the way through. She asked the other guy, Jay, for help and they both stood there pushing my ear around for a solid 3 minutes before the jewelry was fully through. It was a while before the piercing was done, I could feel the blood on my ear slipping around while he essentially tried to repierce it with the jewelry. Neither of them used a clamp, or even a tube to catch the needle as it went through to the other side, just used their hands which I could feel were slipping off my ear. To top it all off, my mom told me after that they used the same needle for all three of my piercings, super unsanitary! I've gotten thick cartilage piercings done before this (rook, nostril, helix) and I have NEVER had an experience like this. I will not be coming back here, not even for my jewelry changes. The only good thing I would say about this experience was that the lady at the front was polite and friendly, and the girl who pierced me was also nice, I just wish the process of the actual piercing was a bit cleaner and smoother. I hope nobody else has an experience like this, and I hope my piercings don't get infected.

Honestly, choosing the type of bar for the piercing took longer than the actual piercing itself. The rook didn't hurt at all and it was over very quickly. Fast forward about six months later, everything was fully healed when the ball on the end of my piercing fell off. I couldn't get it back in on my own, so I drove back to Waikiki. They helped me right away, no questions asked. I'm also really happy they moved to Kaimukī. The new location is much easier for me to get to and the parking situation is way better. She will ask you for your ID, make you sign a wavier, she will bring you back to the room, cleans the area of your choice, marks the spot where she will pierce and will ask you if you like it or change it. Then she will have you sit or lay on the chair bed, and then she will do her piercing magic. Very quick and smooth experience! Pain level for each piercing: Top Navel 8/10 Earlobes 1/10 Daith 6/10 Rook 6/10 There's no body jewelry there for you to buy, she usually defaults with the plain surgical steel ball and bar. She will give you a paper that has aftercare instructions and it says how long the pain lasts, how long you wait till you can replace the jewelry. That is so frustrating! Also when we walked in we were told to go over to the back and we could get help. Then we were told did we sign the via the area in the back for the docs needed the forms you normally have to sign and I said no. So we gotta walk back out. It makes no sense! Also why are they vaping in the rooms they are piercing in. While I'm discussing with my friend what we are doing now that they don't have flat backs the piercer that had prepped her table and had gloves on was now vaping and blowing the smoke in the same area of the sterilized equipment within 2 feet from my friend.

My uncle had taken me here on August 3rd, to surprise me with a nose piercing. He paid $40 for a nose ring for me. Upon walking in, the man who did my piercing was laying on his recliner barefoot. No big deal, there wasn't anyone in there but my uncle and I. We talked to him about the piercing and he gladly took us back. However, he brought me back to a small hallway with nothing but a small cabinet and a chair you'd find at a public school. I sat down and the piercer didn't do anything to his hands but put on gloves. He pulled the tools out of the cabinet. I didn't see if he had cleaned them or not, but they weren't in any wrapping or anything that had shown me the tools were sterile. He pierced my nose, and told me that I should clean it with soap and water everyday. Easy. About a week later, I notice a small bump on the outside of my nose, where the piercing enters. I think maybe it's just a pimple inconveniently placed. I cleaned it every day and did my best to keep it healthy. However, I noticed that one day, while washing my face, the ball pops out from the ring. No biggie. I continue to wash my face, and the gap between where the ball is supposed to be, is stuck in my nose. A bunch of blood and tears later, it finally got unstuck from my nose. I ended up using needle nose pliers to remove it from my nose. I was cleaning it up once more, and noticed that the bump was a keloid, and there was an even bigger ball of tissue and skin on the INSIDE of nose. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS. VERY UNSANITARY. read more

thank you jeff and crew at TNT tattoos and piercings, for the good customer service! i got my second ear lobe re pierced today, at first i was nervous because of bad experiences before but when jeff was done with my piercing there was no pain at all and i was happy with how it came out. they use good quality jewelry for sensitive skin. very helpful staff they answered all my questions and concerns in a clear way. i'm glad i found a place where the workers know what they're doing. highly recommend and going back for any of my future piercings! read more
