One of my favorite shopping destinations in Scottsdale for several years now until this past weekend. I am so disappointed about my last interaction with the shop manager. While enjoying a second honeymoon, my husband presented me with a gorgeous handbag. He bought it at TBC and was promised that he would receive an "authenticity card" and the receipt mailed to him. He was also assured that if I had any reservations about the handbag I would be able to return it for a full store credit since I have a piece currently on layaway. While I was thrilled to get a Chanel from my hubby, this 'limited edition' apparently has no card, came in a shoe box and a dust bag twice as big. It is also cream and has a visible line/scratch. Every Chanel I have bought from TBC has come with its own box tagged accordingly with dust bag to fit, impecable and proof of authenticity card. The shop manager knows my preferences by now since I have bought several handbags from her. Since we are vacationing out of state, I called the store right away. The sales person said the Manager was not there but that she was certain she could locate the card, the receipt and that she would call me back Monday. No call on Monday so I followed up on Tuesday. The sales rep said that the Manager was in fact there but was told to tell me there was no card and can't remember what happened to the receipt. I asked to talk to her and she came to the phone with a horrible attitude. I shared with her that I was not 100% happy with the handbag and that per the agreement with my husband I was going to bring the handbag back for a full store credit. She said that was not going to be possible because I had said the handbag was beautiful and I could always pay for a certificate of authenticity if I needed one with Chanel directly. She never apologized for the lack of follow up or said she could see if they can find the card, - nothing. She kept yelling the bag is real and that is that. When buying an investment bag, the luxury item itself is as important as the experience and the commitment to follow through a promise. TBC failed each one of them. read more

Warning, do not consign anything here. They took my brand new, never used Louis V cashmere scarf complete with tags, original London Heathrow box with black ribbon and tissue paper in the original pristine shopping bag and returned to me unsold in a beat up water stained box, no ribbon and tissue, original tags missing and lost the original London Heathrow shopping bag. This was a new item with tags in original packaging which now I cannot sell as such because of the lack of care this store had for my item. I am furious. I will not be able to resell this item for its true value so in essence, this company has stolen money from me. Shame on you for your shoddy business practices and handling of valuables someone entrusted to your "expert" care. read more

This store is getting a bad wrap but what is wrong with having a store which sells high end merchandise that only a small percentage can afford? It's a dope spot and I feel all upper class when I go there. And hell yeah they got a security guard with 20k for a purse and tons of them around. Any smart business owner would. There's another location off this chain on 20th st and Camelback where Lauri and Taylor walked me find a great Christmas gift. Lauri caught me wandering the the selections and stopped to completely style my figure and tones. She has great vision and ambition in this field; as she says "so do her colleagues". This is THE place to get an amazing deal on luxury items for the smart, frugal, fashionista. Clean out your closet and get some cash to buy some cool new to you fab finds! I gotten the most beautiful bags and accessories from here. The store never fails. The sales clerks are wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and attentive. The pieces are seriously way to new to believe this is a consignment store. If you are a size 8 shoe this might be heaven for you. 6.5 had a smaller selection but still good. Alot to look at and the hang bags are all gorg. Price wise- it is pricey but seriously there is barely a mark on anything even some of the sole of the shoes! I didnt find anything I had to have but when I am back in town they will be on my places to go list. read more

I have been reselling my designer bags for many years. I thought I would try TBC since it is local. Never again. If you consign, monitor your seller account. The sales process lacks transparency and accountability. By tracking my account, I witnessed issues with 4 out of my 5 items. Multiple times I was assured someone would be following-up with me, but this never happened. If you desire cash for your items, check around to make sure you are getting the best price. On-line retailers offer free shipping. The owners seem to be "well connected" sourcing merchandise under unknown arrangements. For buyers, educate yourself before making a purchase. It is nice to be able to see in person and touch, but there are far more sophisticated luxury on-line resellers offering better quality and multiple options. DON'T be fooled by the marketing videos. I am in love with this place! I found it by accident after getting a smoothie next door. I read that it was consignment on the door but it felt rather posh and sparkly so I went in. Sometimes consignment stores feel rather bedraggled and sad...and there is so much digging to find the gems. But here everything is a gem! The inventory is very well curated. Within thirty minutes I had two new dresses and a new favorite shop. The women who work there are my new style gurus! read more

THIS IS BETTER THAN BERGDORF!!! I'm still on a high from my shopping spree yesterday at To Be Continued. I found more PIECES and one-of-a-kind items in a couple hours there than I would in the same amount of time shopping in NYC at BG... and for a fraction of the cost! Three of the items were still new with tags! The owner Chrissy was actually there - she's SO sweet and fabulous. She and her three other top notch personal shoppers knew exactly what to pull. Chrissy is a gem that I trust not only to consign my clothing but to sell me special pieces. I'm grateful for the love she has put into making this boutique special for all. The only reason I gave you 1 star is because I can't give 0 stars or a negative rating. Here's a tip: If you decide to venture into retail and open a boutique, educate yourselves in the art of greeting, acknowledging, and assisting customers rather than standing around and doing nothing and flat out ignoring customers. I'd suggest the owner invest some time in being onsite to make sure the staff is putting their time to the highest and best use. And if the owner was onsite while I visited this afternoon, well, they are just as useless and inadequate as the staff. read more

I had a wonderful blond sales lady help me in the shoe department but when I went to pay there was a sales clerk at the desk complaining loudly that the store was a mess and that it was terrible that a co-worker had gone to get coffees. It was very uncomfortable for me and super unprofessional. Totally wrecked my shopping experience. read more

Hands-down, the best luxury consignment in Scottsdale --definitely on par with fashionphile in San Francisco...

I just came back from an incredible vacation in Arizona and my three highlights were: a hot air balloon ride at 7000 feet above the Sonoran desert, the tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's home, and discovering this amazing store. I found it by accident when we stopped next door for a juice on our way back to the airport and my only regret is that I had just half an hour to shop or else we would have missed our flight. I normally don't go to consignment stores because I get better designer deals on Ebay and I can shop at like 1 AM. But this place beckoned with its luxury boutique look, and I wasn't disappointed. The first thing I gravitated towards was their Chanel, they had a rack full and also some displayed on a table. I got a thrill when I saw their prices - they blow Ebay out of the water. I also saw a really fun Lanvin leather jacket in a floral print (!) new with tags, an embroidered Dries coat, and gosh, a bunch of other delicious finds, but I was on a mission for Chanel. I grabbed a cashmere top and a fun velvet tank, both in mint condition, and then as an extra treat a silk crepe Isabel Marant boho dress, also mint, for like half of what it would go for *used* on Ebay (my reference). I had just enough time to try them on in the gorgeously lit fitting room (I mean the light made me look gorgeous) and then a quick tour of the shoe section where I saw brand new Lanvin high-tops, Burberry boots in black quilted patent leather with gleaming hardware, mint, all at like 70-80% off retail. Imagine having to leave all that after 30 minutes, it was torture! I can't comment on the handbags, there was no time, but they had a nice display of those as well. The staff were in the background, didn't pester me, but I have to say I loved the owner's outfit and literally had her show me the label on her stunning silk bow top (Andrew Gn) so I could scour the web for it later. (I have no shame!) If there was a Michelin guide for clothing stores, and I was their secret expert envoy, I'd give this one a three star rating. It's not just worth a detour, it's a destination. read more

Not normally a consignment shopper; but, this is the best I have ever been to and the prices warranted because quality is top grade. Nary a mark or smudge. Bought several hundred dollars of merchandise that I would defy anyone from being able to detect weren't bought directly (new) from the designer. Store personnel very helpful when I needed them, but allowed you to shop without bother, when requested. Will definitely return.
