The yakisoba was sub par and drenched in what tasted like a peanut sauce that I'm assuming was supposed to be the dressing for salad. The actual noodles were soggy and disappointing. The taste was alright, not terrible, but not all that good. Definitely not a good meal, and I certainly will not be going back. I order the Phad See Ew often and the past 3 times it seems to have been lazily thrown together as there are clumps of uncooked / unseasoned noodles or inedible portions that are easily catchable with minimal attention, I've been a line cook so I am familiar. In response to the owner: I have ordered here more than 10 times and I have been served the same dish plenty of times when it is properly prepared, I don't write the review lightly. When I order over $30 of food, I expect the food to not be partially inedible not to mention the fact that utensils were not included more than a couple of times when the order itself is not done well. read more

I got the vegetable pho to to and it was the worst pho I've ever had. It came with about a 1/3 of overcooked vegetables and hardly any toppings. Came by here the other day and ordered the pad see ew and I can most definitely say that I loved! Normally I'm very picky when it comes to pad see ew and this would have been my first time ordering Thai food since moving to Washington and I definitely approve. My boyfriend ordered the drunken noodles at a level 4, which if you like spicy food, most assuredly had a good kick to it if you're used to spicy food. The food was very fresh and portions are great. However, we noticed everything seemed a bit sweet. My chicken pho was very sweet rather than savory and I couldn't seem to finish it. The red curry was not hot at all and pretty sweet. Pork fried rice tasted good but was a little mushy. Overall, it was ok. The customer service here is TRASH. I'm someone who loves spicy food (I'm Indian for Gods sake) and when I asked for a number 4 I thought it would be less than what I usually eat. I normally ask for a 5 Thai spicy at other Asian resultants so I figured since I've never been here I would try a 4 to be safe. IT WAS INAPPROPRIATELY SPICY!!! My boyfriend and I were in tears and in physical pain after what happened. The waitress/waiter was of no help. He/she offered us no help but brought us some HOT milk to add to the soup. We still had to pay for our meal and we only took one bite each. Would not recommend this place AT ALL. They need to take customer service classes and/or not try to kill their customers with such inappropriately spicy food. I used to always get the wings because they were so freshly made and cripsy and all around yum... But they recently changed it to store bought frozen wings and just use their seasoning on top. This is the only place in town that will make their yellow curry without fish sauce! I've been living in Bellingham for over a month now and I've called practically every restaurant that serves yellow curry, none of which were willing to accommodate for a vegetarian, until I found this place! Their yellow curry was AMAZING too. I like that they include pineapple in it, because it adds a nice sweetness to what would have otherwise been a savory dish. In addition, their portions sizes are MASSIVE! Absolutely worth the price. I've yet to come across a Thai place (in Washington or California) that has served that large of a portion of curry. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. The food was delicious, the employees were very friendly and helpful, and you get MORE THAN what you pay for. Passing through Bellingham we stopped in here for lunch, and were glad we did. I had possibly the best Tom kha I've ever had, very fresh and clean with loads of lemongrass. The soup was light, not at all heavy or overly sweet like some coconut milk dishes can get. It might have been a touch salty, but probably just right if I'd had it with rice. They're brand new and nobody else was there, but our server was very nice, so hopefully it catches on. Last thing, don't be put off by the taste of the water. It is infused with Thai herb. We ordered 3 bowls and and split the last between the two kids. I usually go the safe route and order a curry bowl. The kids split a wonton egg noodle phô and the hubby got a seafood bowl. I'm a very picky Asian food critic, but I must admit this place is special! It is now my very favorite Asian restaurant and that's saying a lot as I regularly travel around the USA and all over Asia. The flavors of the dishes and freshness of the food is excellent. I always leave feeling healthy, yet amazed at how good tasting all the food is. The ambiance is good, but nothing particularly special. Though I do like the high ceilings, but that is not uncommon. What is uncommon is food this tasty, let alone this healthy too. The Avocado Green Curry was like nothing I have had before, it was fresh with a perfect balance of avocado and just the right amount of heat. I really enjoyed it with sticky rice. Also had the yum woo sen with tofu instead of chicken. As a vegetarian I was thrilled to see they could change a recipe for my palate. Can't wait to try other item on their menu!
