I've been here a several times and really want to give them a good review, but I simply can't. The service is just lacking. The server kept forgetting what we asked for and making careless mistakes, for instance we ordered tea and the waiter brought out hot water with no tea bag. It took 15-20min just to be able to get the tea bag after the water. Then, food comes out with no utensils, then another 20 min wait for utensils. Then our pancake order comes out and they were just inedible. The batter was gross, gummy, and bitter. I waited around 30 mins for a new order to come out and they were exactly the same. I go because they have vegan options these vegan pancakes were just oh so terrible! read more

The Delancey Omelette was so tasty! Omelette with spinach, Swiss cheese & bacon (I chose not to include the tomatoes, mushrooms and onions). Homefries tasted great. I've always loved Toast. Seriously, since back in the early 2000s when it was a tiny hole in the wall in Port Jeff that did fondue at night and you had to wait hours for a table (can you bring that back?) The one in Patchogue is going downhill a bit. Ate here this week and had the Benedict Arnold (eggs Benedict). The English muffin it was on was so stale and then over toasted that I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. I was disappointed. My waitress took our order and then disappeared. We never saw her again. She also didn't ask me what type of milk I'd like with my coffee and just dropped me milk. (I like almond milk) I shouldn't spoken up but she ran away too quick. This was the last we saw her. This was a weekday and the place wasn't as packed as it usually gets. I saw her peek out of the overflow seating room on her cell phone. Like really? I had to ask the hostess for our check so we could leave. The two tables next to us were left out in the cold too. One table was sat and then no one came over for over 20 minutes. I know the owners of Toast wouldn't be cool with that. I know good employees are hard to find in 2024 but this was pretty wild. We won't be back. read more

This place is amazingly--food and service wise. I've been here multiple times and have had the same great service. The place gets very busy so if you arrive without putting your name on the waitlist online, then you will have quite a wait. On todays visit, I ordered the cheddar bacon burger with a Greek salad. The burger was done right and very tasty. The salad was also excellent; the greens were fresh and the dressing was good. Just look at the attached photo. On previous visits, I've had the chicken and waffles, corned beef hash and eggs, and the biscuits and gravy. My only gripe is with the biscuits and gravy. It should be written as "Biscuit and gravy". I got one biscuit with my order. I thought there would be two. Anyway, the eggs, biscuit and gravy were really good, but 'one' biscuit? The interior is really cool...has an industrial feel, and cool photos on the wall. Parking is easy. If you get lucky, you'll find a place to park on Main Street. If not, there's parking in back and there's an alleyway entrance right to the front door. Cool. Depending on the day and time, you may have to pay for parking. max time is 2hours for $2. Ok. I'm giving them FOUR STARS because I'm coming back and feel that they can do better. I ordered steak and eggs with potatoes and side biscuit. In hindsight I probably should have ordered what it seem like they have locked down. That's pancakes, French toast, omelets. felt like the steak was a bit to chewy and way to much salt seasoning. The biscuit is definitely not your southern biscuit. It wasn't dry but it also didn't have that buttery taste you look for in a biscuit. But if I wanted a steak i definitely should have gone to a steakhouse but I also needed some protein this morning. The staff was amazing and super friendly from the hostess all the way down to those working the bar area. Super friendly and engaging with the customers. We stated we weren't asked prior to ordering and we were told by the a manger that the restaurant doesnt ask and the customer is responsible for asking for separate checks. In all my dining experiences, I've never heard of this being the standard. The manage scolded our table and it was very inappropriate. I could understand if the restaurant was busy but they only had one other party seated and we could see our waitress complaining to her coworkers. I had the dingo burrito with potatoes; it was good, a bit greasy, not spicy (reads as spicy on the menu) could've been a bit more heat involved in the creation process. My girl had the southwest turkey wrap with fries - she said it was great, my other friend who is extremely difficult and doesn't like Yelp- ha... he had the huevos migas omelette with black beans says it was delicious. Coffee and service were really good. Bathrooms and dining room were very clean! The decor was probably my favorite of all that the restaurant had to offer. Super Duper Cute! read more

Always on the search for great breakfast options. Add this to the list! Among the best around for sure. We put our names on the waiting list, which is not a reservation...but kind of a reservation. When we arrived we still had to wait about 10 minutes but that's not horrible considering the place was very busy. Really cool decor, very clean bathrooms, friendly staff, nice ambiance all around. I ordered a MOCHA LATTE and my girlfriend got the CARAMEL HOT CHOCOLATE BOMB to start. Both were delicious. For food I ordered the TENNESSEE CHICKEN AND WAFFLES with a side of BISCUITS AND GRAVY. My lady ordered the MISS LUCY'S TORTILLA SCRAMBLE with a side of CORNED BEEF AND HASH. Overall the food was incredible. The chicken was crispy and crunch, the waffle soft and perfectly cooked. The biscuit and gravy was great as well. I heard no complaints about the scramble and hash. The good thing is she always over orders, we have breakfast for tomorrow now too! When the food came I ordered a DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CAPPUCCINO cause who doesn't like cafinated hot chocolate. Very good. We'd 100% come back! Gonna add this to the go-to breakfast spots on my list. Stopped by Toast Coffeehouse for breakfast for the first time a few weeks ago with my hubby. Visited on a weekday morning and got there right before their line started to build up. Service was warm and friendly from the minute we stepped into the establishment to our last foot out the door as we left after finishing our meal. Though they were busy while we were dining, our waitress was attentive and our food came out fairly quickly. Our order consisted of the - Domingo Burrito - Apple Crumb Pancakes - Salmon Cake Benedict Everything was very tasty and priced accordingly to other "foodie" type of breakfast/brunch spots of similar fare, though a little pricey. The Domingo Burrito was packed with the respective fillings described on the menu with tender pulled pork stuffed within. The Salmon Cake Benedict was a special for the day. The overall taste of the salmon and hollandaise combo was delicious, but the english muffins were hard as a rock and were slightly over toasted. The Apple Crumb pancakes were also okay. It didn't quite match up with what one may think of in terms of an apple crumb you might have with your coffee in the morning, but it was a nice stack of pancakes. The pancakes seemed to just be apple slices superficially added to the pancakes with a heavy sprinkling of powdered sugar on the top. Would have loved some of the "crumble" that one typically finds on an apple crumb. They weren't bad, but I wouldn't order them again or recommend them. Toast Coffeehouse is one of the better breakfast spots I've tried in the area. Everything on their menu sounds so good and the friendly service would definitely hook me back in for further meals. Why does this place close sooo early!? Isn't a coffee shop suppose to be for late night study sessions, after work meetups, bible studies, get together with a friend, etc? I cannot do that on a Tuesday at 11a.m. or 3p.m. I get off work at 5p.m.! Found this place while visiting a friend. Great find! I had the house made shrimp Bloody Mary and a peanut hot chocolate bomb to drink. My friend had the spiked sangria. Really great hidden gem. Hard to see the inside of this place from the street because of the long hallway, but once inside, it's so great. I was there around 10am on a Saturday and it was absolutely packed. Great selection of standard brunch fare and some interesting specials, along with good drink selection. I got the shrimp+chorizo breakfast quesadilla, a mimosa, and coffee. Would get everything again, though I was so tempted by some of the other options like the french toast, waffles, and duck omelet. Outdoor Dining Review- After years of wanting to come, I finally tried Toast Patchogue for breakfast! The food was awesome and the prices are great. Located on Main St. next to Stanley's Furniture, you'll need to pay the meter for parking. Even during COVID, Patchogue is still charging for parking. The restaurant is currently "Reservation Only". I called and was easily able to book a reservation. They have both limited capacity indoor and outdoor tent dining. I sat outside and it was great. The tables were spaced very far apart and there was a nice breeze while I ate. The wait staff had masks on and sanitized the tables frequently. Be aware, there is a wait at times. This place gets very crowded. The service was the reason I removed 1 Star. It was incredibly slow and there was an error in our order. I do realize that the restaurant was very busy, and even though the service was slow, it certainly wouldn't deter me from coming again. After letting our server know about the error, he made it right immediately. The prices are great for the area! The food was so much better than I anticipated! Going into my visit, I thought the food would be good but honestly, it was so much better than I would've imagined. I ordered an Iced Caramel Latte which was phenomenal. I also ordered the Shady Orchard Omelette. This was absolutely delicious and I will 100% order it again. The combination of ham, caramelized onions, apples & melted creamy goat cheese went so well with each other. The omelette came with a ton of home fries & 2 pieces of toast. First time visit this morning for breakfast at Toast ... made rezzy for 2 on outside patio in rear. Seated right away and was happy to see maybe 5 tables spaced out in the area. Servers were terrific... perky and happy to be of service. We ordered coffee right away and it was terrific... strong and tasty! For mains we got their rendition of Eggs Benedict Arnold...Very well prepared ... eggs were runny and delish! comes with lotsa well cooked bkfst potatoes...better than homefries. Twice I ordered the peanut butter mocha and was just given a regular iced coffee, today I ordered the cookies for Santa iced latte, again I was given just a regular with no flavor. I was never one to write a review but one particular lady that goes by the name of Kristy F has completely ruined my delicious sweet treat experience. All i came for was a simple cookie platter but all i got was a bad attitude and several rude stares. Me and my 3 friends all came in at 230pm for a sweet treat and as soon as we sat down, Kristy F rolled her eyes and asked for our order. When i placed a simple cookie platter order for the whole table she was extremely rude and rolled her eyes once again. I had also asked kindly for her to throw something out for me quickly as i didn't want to seem rude bringing in a drink but afterwards she complained to all the coworkers which led to us getting many glaring stares. Kristy F was so incredibly upset as 4 innocent 16 year olds wanting a sweet treat that she went as far as to get another server for us, one of which was nicer than Kristy F but then again i imagine that ANYONE is nicer than Kristy F. I will not be attending this place again and i encourage everyone not to. Although those cookies were , I can't say the same about the service. In the picture included, you can see Evil Kristy F talking to her coworkers about us. I understand servers getting payed off tips but i don't understand why we were treated so poorly when she had no problem with nearby tables. This beautiful cafe is now open for dine in service again. The great reviews dod not disappoint. The wait was as long as we were told or shorter. The dining rooms were set up for social distancing and the staff wore masks. In addition the tables were cleaned with a bottled solution, not a bucket of dirty water as we have seen elsewhere. The staff was warm and welcoming. The food was fresh and well prepared. We were there for brunch. We had watermelon mimosas. They were delish. Finally got to try this local favorite! We waited for a table for four for approximately 20 minutes. Usual wait time is over an hour but our friend did an on line check in. Made a huge difference! It's like walking into a huge garage sale. Plenty of seating, decorations and wall decor everywhere. Place is blasting loud so if your wanting to talk about something important, forget about it. But do bring all the screaming children because no one will notice. Lol. Staff was very friendly and helpful but we had to wave them over three times. Had to ask for coffee and water refills , napkins etc. They should hire a few people to do just that. Customers would be very pleased. Breakfast was hardy, Delicous and reasonably priced. Toast is a solid brunch location, with a little room for improvement. Sunday brunch is bound to be a hefty wait. Unable to make a reservation we tried to gauge the waitlist and failed. It tells you how many people in front of you but not time estimate so we still waited about 20 minutes out front, and about an hour total (12:45-1:45 pm). By the time you were seated we already knew what we wanted to order, and did so as soon as the waitress came over. Food took a little over a half hour to come out after that. The food tasted good! We got chicken & waffles, corned beef hash, and gluten free blueberry pecan pancakes. We were very happy to see how fresh the corned beef was and the eggs were perfectly poached. We agreed the breakfast potatoes had an unusual seasoning on them, which wasn't *bad* but not our particularly cup of tea. It was really nice to have gluten free pancake options for breakfast. Delicious! Came here with my aunt and daughter for my aunts birthday breakfast. Absolutely delicious. We both got the Splendid Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is the best I've ever had. Eggs poached perfectly. We also split a Nutella French toast, comes with fresh strawberries on top. 10 out of 10. My daughter got chicken fingers and French fries because what kid doesn't love that? We all brought leftovers home because the portion sizes are so big. Cute place to come with the family!!
