I had been wanting to try Toastique for a long time now but hated the idea of going to the ever so busy wharf area. But today I got vaccinated in the area so I pleaded my husband if we can just go, even if it meant paying for parking even though we are zoned to park free in the neighborhoods. I'm so happy we did! This may be by far my favorite healthy smoothie-juice-bowl joint. I mean, only being a first timer and all, I can't express enough how much I loved everything ordered. Here's what they were: - iced brew smoothie - smoked salmon toast with an added poached egg - pb&b toast - blue majik bowl While I would normally comment on each item, I'm just gonna sum up everything to being full of bursting flavors that blend so well together. I'm also so happy that they allow dining in because the presentation of toasts is so nice! On top of that, I have toddler twins and eating toasts and açaí bowls can get sooooo messy and I needed that unlimited supply of napkins and access to the sink for washing hands. Normally I get so anxious about making a huge mess and making a scene but everything went so well and the ones working even helped us out a bit. I wish I were one of those who lived above here so I can be a regular LOL. With parking, taxes, and tip, my overall bill came close to a hundred, which is not something I can do on the regular. As for now, I'm so glad I can check this off my Yelp bookmarks of places I want to try. Next time I'm looking for an açaí bowl-smoothie-juice joint, I'll be sure to think of Toastique first. One last thing, I want to shoutout the one who took our order. Unfortunately I don't have his name. I asked a lot of questions, ordered a few items, then basically cancelled everything and started over. I held the line up maybe a bit IDK. But this person kept it real, not snobby at all, answered all questions, gave recommendations, and seemed like was smiling behind the mask so the eyebrows said :) thank you for showing that kindness! Even if I ended up not liking the food (which isn't the case), that genuine super friendly personality makes such a huge difference that I would still have a positive outlook on the place. The granola in it is very delicious - but I skipped the cacao nibs the second time around as they were too bitter for my taste. The peanut butter toast was just OK. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! When I woke up on Saturday morning and found this place on Yelp, the pictures had me sold. We didn't stop by that day, so I thought that my dreams of tasting one of their delicious looking juices were crushed forever. Delicious! Toasts are expensive, but there's a great variety. I was impressed with the amount of toppings and presentation. They have a variety of juices and drinks that sound quite good for you. The only thing we had wished was more of an option was adding scrambled eggs or meat onto the toasts. Some of them come with a meat protein (smoked salmon and ham pictured), but you can only add boiled eggs or poached. Scrambled would have made it more hearty without the runny. Also, they don't have espresso based coffee. They did have brewed coffee and a nitro cold brew, but they aren't a place to get a latte with your toast. read more

I got the Avocado Smash. I get it, it's an aesthetic toast place. It smells overly healthy the minute you walk through the door. It was served beautifully and is exactly what you'd imagine the Wharf having. That being said, I think it is WAY overpriced. It's toast. And at that, it's not unique to the millions of other Avocado toasts offered everywhere else these days. I don't think the offerings match the price, but I get that the Wharf is an expensive place to pay rent, so their hand is forced. The four stars is because the toast was crunchy while the avocado was thick and soft. I appreciate the execution and can't really blame them for trying to afford rent. read more

On the morning of my staycation at the Wharf, I was super hungry. Luckily, I had Toastique bookmarked for a while so it was meant to be. Quite a small but clean facility, Toastique gets super busy super fast on weekends. We got there around 10am and were lucky enough to snag a seat. Their menu offers a good variety of toasts, healthy breakfast bowls and smoothies. My friend and I ordered the Smoked Salmon and Avocado Smash toasts respectively. I also got a beet latte. To my initial disappointment, they don't serve hot lattes so keep that in mind (or at least double check when ordering). While disappointed at first, the beet latte wasn't all that bad after all. I can see myself getting it again! Both of our toasts were rich in ingredients and delicious; not to mention how picture-worthy are their toasts coming out on wooden boards. I do think my Avocado Smash was way more flavorful than my friend's Smoked Salmon. The salmon in my friend's toasted tasted slightly off, but nothing to worry about. The staff were friendly. It wasn't anything particularly exciting but I really enjoyed the PB+J toast - the peanut butter they used was great and the best part was probably the raisin walnut bread (my favorite kind of bread). Yes it's "fancy millenial avocado toast" and just toast In general, but between the three of us, the Avocado Smash and Smoked Salmon drew rave reviews. The juices are fresh pressed and super tasty too. I do agree with a couple other reviewers here though that the prices are a bit high, like $2 across the board. But that's cause they're in the new, hip trendy Wharf. Thanks gentrification! Anyway toastique is tasty fun; recommended. read more
