Saw this place on instagram and man was it worth the hype. The workers were so sweet and greet you as you walk in. We got the bulgogi drop meal that came with egg rolls and a drink. The sandwich was to die for, a little messy but so good! The sauces have a tiny kick and the bread is so soft. I would definitely try all the other ones if we come back!
Came here with a small group of 5. I got the sausage and egg sandwich with a pineapple green tea drink. They were able to make it without cheese for me. The eggs were fluffy and the balance of savory to sweet was perfect. There's another toast K-sandwich spot that I think is too sweet so I definitely preferred this version. The sausage was just your usual patty. Nothing special but still tasty. The pineapple green tea was refreshing with this summer heat. A couple others got the Philly cheesesteak and both said theirs were delicious. The service was really quick too. I'd come back to try the other menu options.
The food was amazing when i say these soy garlic wings and anything bulgogi is the service is always fast and exceptional the lady in the front was very welcoming. The ambiance is very toasty and welcoming it's a little mom and pop shop i like it's a vibe when you just kinda want to get away and study.
The bulgogi drop sandwich was bursting at the seams with scrambled eggs and bulgogi -- their portions are generous (and filling)! As other reviewers noted, you will want a stack of napkins on hand, because this is not a tidy sandwich. It is REALLY good, though! I'm not quite sure where they'd tuck it in, but next time I'd ask them to add a hash brown. The bulgogi drop meal included a pair of crispy egg rolls, which were delicious! The shaved ice and boba menu looked intriguing, but that will have to wait for the next visit -- I got pretty full on the drop meal. Service was friendly and very prompt. If you like Kpop, you'll want to dine in since that's what's streaming on TV.
Overall it's a pretty good spot; I feel it's more a 3.5 star rating but that's not an option. The menu is pretty small but I did enjoy the bulgogi toast sandwich. Very generous portion. I do wish that there were some spicy sauces to chose from because the ones used are on the sweeter side. I don't eat breakfast out very often but I think it's a good choice for a hearty bfast sammich!!
Small place but tasty. We ordered quite a bit since it was our first time trying them and we aren't from Phoenix. The smoothies were good, unfortunately my 2 boys were fighting over sharing it and it fell to the ground. The worker was very kind about it. The strawberry matcha was alright, if we are in town and go again I would not order it. The fried cheese balls were good, but I felt it needed some sort of sauce with it. I ended up dipping them in the leftover buffalo sauce from my husband's wings. The wings, I didn't try but my husband said they were mid, nothing to write home about. Where they really shine is in their sandwiches. Husband got the bulgogi Philly and I got the special egg bulgogi toast. Both were phenomenal! Definitely would order the sandwiches again.
11/22/25: after reading some of the 5-star reviews, I decided this would be the spot to meet up w/ a friend for breakfast. Bad choice on my part. It was meh. We arrived this particular Saturday immediately after they opened, which means we had the place all to ourselves. It's been so long I honestly can't remember the name of the breakfast burrito I ordered, which bulgogi I took home for my sister, or even the drink. It was not a memorable experience, food wise. What I do remember: 1) the first item I wanted to order they did not have. I recall the menu I saw at the counter looked nothing like the menu online - and to have them be out of something first thing in the morning was bad. Wipe it off the menu board, or cover it up. 2) went w/ the breakfast burrito, hashbrowns inside. I don't think they were salted; the flavor of the entire thing was bland & boring. 3) same with the bulgogi; after the first couple of bites my sister said it had no flavor. She didn't even finish it, it went into our compost bin. 4) one reason I chose this was because their sweet options on the menu sounded delicious, but what I saw at the counter was a small display of items that looked like they were science projects (no mold, but they looked hard & plastic ... maybe they were!?) 5) it's part of a small strip mall so the parking was good End result? No, there will be no return visit to Toasty&Sweetz.
Stopped in after dance class to try their viral Egg Drop Sandwich. I had also heard amazing things about the wings too, so had them on my list. It was Easter morning, but they were open! Unassuming little place in a strip mall. Decor is basic but the restaurant seemed clean and they had anime playing. It felt like a relaxed Korean Street Food place for sure. The staff was really nice and asked if we had questions. I already knew what I was ordering but did ask his preference between their original wings that have chili sauce or the honey soy garlic. He said he preferred the honey soy garlic so I went with those and BABBBYYY they are so crispy and perfectly sauced. I was in wing heaven. Definitely order! Now on to the viral sammich. It was also really freaking good. Idk what the sauce is drizzled on top, but it's a little sweet and took me by surprise at first, but it's really tasty! The egg is super fluffy and the bread melts in your mouth. My friend ordered a Korean Corndog and was surprised how small it was. I've only been to 2 Hands Corndogs where they are huge but she said that's how they normally are. She did say it was really good and would reorder. I'll definitely be returning to Tasty&Sweetz! We don't even try any of their sweets!
My friend and I saw an influencer post this place so we wanted to try it out. I've had a bulgogi toast at an Asian Night Market event before made by a different company and it was delicious! This place wasn't bad. The first bite was really good! You get some bulgogi, egg, cheese, sauces and garlic butter toast. But after the top bites, I really only tasted egg and cheese. It could use a bit more bulgogi and sauce throughout! I also ordered the grapefruit sparkling ade. That was refreshing! Only comes in a 20oz. My friend ordered the bulgogi quesadilla for her kids. It comes with one container of salsa and one sour cream. One salsa isn't enough. I would ask for extra! She said that was pretty good though. She also ordered the berry sparkling ade and said it was too sweet for her. She and her kids want to come back to try the toast next time. If I do come back, I would try a different toast and ask for extra sauce on the side to add to the sandwich. There was a good amount of people in there at the time and more came in after us. Owners are very nice and they were working hard to get orders out quickly for everyone!
I tried this for lunch on a weekday. I ordered online, when I arrived the food was hot and ready! I dined in and really enjoyed the KPop music playing. I had the egg drop toasty combo with two little spring rolls and a soda. Egg Drop Toast. I added a hash brown to mine and was not disappointed. Savory, a little crunchy, the eggs were fluffy and the sauce added a touch of sweet. Perfect balance and filling!! Get the Gyoza too, you will be so happy!
The facility was clean and the staff was nice. The hand menu is jumbled and not easy to read / follow. The food was served relatively quickly and it was super hot. We ordered the Grilled Toasty with bacon crumble meal with fries and a drink. Not impressed. The eggs were over cooked. The bread was delicious. I would suggest to cook the eggs a bit less to make them a bit fluffier and add the bacon before cooking. We also ordered the Chicken Quesadilla with fries and a plain croiffle. Both of which they seemed to enjoy.
Heard about this place from tiktok and it was well worth visit! The egg drop sandwiches are delicious and filling. I've gone twice now and I really like to order my sandwich with bacon and light sauce. The shop is very clean and the staff is very friendly.

FOOD/DRINKS - Kid Egg Drop Meal: buttered toast topped with scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese. This was pretty good. Filling for even an adult. For some reason I thought it was a sandwich but it's a thick slice of toast with toppings. It made it a challenge to eat on the road. Comes with French fries or an egg roll with a drink. 4/5 - Gyoza: 6 pieces of deep fried beef potstickers. 4/5 - Bulgogi Quesadilla: yummy! It came with sour cream and salsa. 4/5 - Bubble Tea: both mango and brown sugar milk tea were decent. 3.75/5 SERVICE: I called in my order. The person who answered was friendly and patient. My food wasn't quite ready when I came to pick up my order but it wasn't too long of a wait. 4/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back. The food was good. read more

Service was fast and genuinely warm. The shop is small but clean and comfortable with K-pop competitions playing over a few tvs (fun to watch while you wait)! This was a cool little place and honestly th food was amazing! I only had the one drop, but wow! Ingredients were definitely top notch - everything was fresh and sourced well; none of the meat was chewy, it was all tender and delicious!! I will be coming back! Stopped by this place on a Saturday afternoon and was not disappointed. It's been on my list for a while. The staff is nice and greeted me upon entry. Ordering is easy. I got the bulgogi egg sandwich and it was good! I read reviews before and there were comments about how the meat was only on top. I think they listened to customer feedback because mine had meat from top to bottom. It was a good amount of food/nice sized sandwich for $9. The only thing I wish is that they offered the kimchi & other rice balls as side options so I could try them because I didn't want the soup combo that they were offered with. The place was clean, not super roomy, but there is seating inside. read more

This place is amazing! I found this restaurant from an Instagram reel and it is so worth a try! We had an egg drop sandwich and a Korean corn dog. Service was super friendly, efficient, and food was super fresh. Lots of options on the menu and reasonably priced as well for the amount of food. Easily accessible parking and clean inside as well! Definitely would recommend and will be coming back again! read more
Toasty & Sweetz Egg Drop sandwiches have a great presentation served on a wooden board, sandwich in Texas Toast sprayed on top with different sauces and in a box container. Egg Drop Bulgogi Sandwich Meal with Egg Rolls was okay, presentation is impressive, when you take the sandwich out of the box container, the meat is only on the top, so after 3 bites you are primarily eating an egg sandwich. Lots of fluffy eggs, less bulgogi than expected. You do get a choice of Egg Rolls or salad, we chose the Egg Rolls which were crispy but just shredded veggies inside which were a little underwhelming. Egg Drop Shimp Sandwich Meal with Egg Rolls can really reiterate from above on the bulgogi sandwich. Served on a wooden board sandwich in a box container sprayed with different sauces, beautiful, but the shrimp, all three maybe 4 of them, are on the top and then you have an egg sandwich. Would have been nice to have a few more shrimp, at least 3 or 4 more, but just my opinion. Pot Stickers were nice and Crispy served hot with a dipping sauce, these were pretty good, not sure if house made. Chocolate Croiffel was stiff, not fresh and room temperature. If it was fresh out of the cooker and chocolate was added, I can see this being a winner. So wanted to like this restaurant which seemed family owned, but the lack of featured items, half filled bulgogi and shrimp was disappointing, cold hard Croiffel, who knows how long it was there, was just a bad impression. read more

Toasty&Sweetz is located in the same plaza as Arizona Donuts and is right next to Lacquer Nails. As previously mentioned, they don't have a sign visible from the street, but it is clear which one it is once you park. The Bulgogi Toasty was delicious; the bread was soft and thick, the bulgogi was yummy, and the egg was fluffy. The only thing I want is MORE bulgogi, especially for $10 (sandwich only, not the combo meal). The sandwich was layered by bulgogi and egg except the sandwich was 80% egg. I may eat more than the average person but it was a good snack and not enough as a meal. read more
I've had my fair share of Korean sandos before and I prefer them over the Japanese style since the drop toast are loaded! The bulgogi ,egg ,and cheese was what I'm used to and I really like theirs They recently just opened and happy to have more options in the valley. When I tell you, you MUST try the Egg drop toast! This sandwich is filled with so much flavor! The bread is a soft cloud that basically melts in your mouth with every bite! The egg is fluffy and filling overflowing from the seam! The bulgogi steak is seasoned to perfection! What even is the sauce!! It's absolutely delicious! That's what! Service is always pleasant and consistent! I enjoy the fact they don't cut the bread all the way, sometimes the sauce is overwhelming BUT it's so GOOD you won't even care your fingers get a bit *messy* I want to try other items on the menu but I keep running back to my OG! I'll be back to try others but for now this most definitely gets a 10/10! read more

I've never had an Egg Drop Sandwich before, and I had to try it. I was in Tempe, so I stopped by this joint to check it out. K-pop videos were blaring on TV, giving me life while I decided to dive into the Korean Egg Drop Toastie with a cup of Joe. The Toastie? culinary déjà vu of the Filipino Vegetable Egg Torta, which is basically breakfast trying to be dinner. Service was good, ambiance was just right, the nice ladies working the counter were pleasant, but their coffee needs to be upgraded. It was the sidekick that didn't quite make the cut for the main cast was--forgettable! Props to the presentation, served on a wooden tray that screamed "I'm trying to be Pinterest-worthy." All in all, it was an experience--like finding a lost sock. You're not thrilled, but you're not mad about it either. read more

wow i was drawn in by the amazing food pics online but when i went inside it was very clean, there's a good number of seating, the customer service was excellent and the matcha quality was heavenly, reminded me of whole foods matcha latte, very rich and yummy, i found this free peppermint pretzel the cutest and it was delicious, the k pop on the tv was the cherry on top, i'll for sure be coming back read more
I was sitting at my doctor's appointment and started experiencing hunger pains. I opened Yelp on my phone and searched for nearby restaurants to try afterwards. Toasty & Sweet showed up on my radar. The food photos caught my attention as well as the reviews. I clicked, 'Get Directions' and saved it until after my appointment. I drove the 15 minutes it took to get there via city streets. I walked inside and I was the only patron there. The place had only opened about thirty minutes prior. There was a female who I suspected was the owner and one guy behind the grill who was the cook. The owner asked if it was my first time. I replied it was. She then handed me a menu to browse through instead of the overhead menu. I decided on the Bulgogi Drop Toasty. It consisted of eggs, cheese, and bulgogi ( marinated Korean beef) in between Texas toast. When I received my order, I noticed I couldn't see the main ingredients similar to the photos I'd seen on Yelp. There was a lot of sauce compared to the photos also. I took my first bite and I got a lot of sauce with some Bulgogi and cheese. I made sure to include egg with my second bite. The egg was hot, moist, and plentiful. The bulgogi was a tad too sweet for me. I wish it had some caramelization for extra depth of flavor. The cheese was nicely melted. The Texas toast was perfectly toasted. All together this was still a pretty good Toasty. I plan to try the Shrimp Drop Toasty on my next visit and maybe their sweet treats! read more

I had the bulgogi drop sandwich and chocolate matcha dipped croiffle. First the croiffle: The croissant-batter waffle itself was good, as expected from a buttery croissant. The ingredients individually were fine, but all together, it was just too sweet, and I have a sweet tooth. It would have benefited from a savory Elmer to offset such sweetness, like a sausage or bacon. The bulgogi drop sandwich: The first few bites with all the sauces were fantastic; the sauce mixture really enhanced the sandwich. But after that first layer of sauces, there really wasn't any sauce left to offset the amount of egg in the sandwich. Same with the beef. Perhaps my expectation for drop sandwiches wasn't properly set, but I wish the sauces and beef would have continued throughout the entire sandwich. It was essentially a lot of piping hot scrambled eggs between two pieces of buttery bread. The combo did come with an option of fries or two mini egg rolls. I went with the egg rolls, which were not bad, but nothing to write home about. I would probably go back to try some of their other stuff, as the pictures do look appetizing, but I'm also probably not going back for a while, especially for the price. The sandwich and croiffle here are really good! We think that the egg drop sandwich here tastes very close to what we had in Korea. I am also amazed by how good the croiffle is. We had fruit croiffle and matcha croiffle, and I would say matcha is my favorite. For the sandwich, I will recommend bulgogi egg drop! The owners are really friendly and nice. Overall good food and good service. Would love to visit more often! read more

I love korean food and ive heard all the rave about korean street toast. I was warmly greeted when i came in and the lady, whom i assume is one of the owners, walked me through the menu. I ordered a bulgogi toast to go. The service was quick. Only took a few minutes. The place is clean and has plenty of space for friends and family. There is a wifi posted on the wall if anyone wants to come here and study. The sandwich was yummy!!! There is a lot in there. Its definitely a whole meal even if its just the toast. I recommend checking the place out! read more

I tried their brown sugar milk tea bobba and it's the worst bobba I've ever had. They gave me the drink without the bobba and I had to point out their mistake. They took my drink and added the brown sugar bobba to it and it had a texture comparable to old raisins. I threw my drink away, waste of time and money. read more

Both were equally delicious and a generous serving size. The bread is so soft and flavorful. Service was excellent and the staff were friendly. I will definitely be back again. GPS did take us to Mariscos el Wicho but it's actually closer to the nail salon. They're still new so they don't have a sign quite yet. 10/10 recommend. read more
