A solid spot for some late night boba and eats in the ASU area! When I was a student, I was practically here every week, getting late night pho and drinks with my friends. It can definitely get quite busy, and the parking can be difficult so that is something to note. You order up front and then take a seat if you are dining in, and I have experienced it before where there are no available tables to eat at. Otherwise, it's mostly okay! The food is pretty good, I have to say, for what seems like an Asian fusion spot, the Vietnamese dishes are really authentic. And not many pho places are open late, so it's a great choice for those late nights as a student. I really like their Berry Twilight drink, it's pretty to look at and it's tasty and light. I love aloe vera in it, and always get it half sweet. I don't get anything else really, and I haven't felt like I wanted to. Definitely a good visit as a student, but I don't think I would go out of the way to come here now if I wasn't already in the area and craving something in the later hours. read more

Okay, so I was ready not to like this spot especially considering how awful parking is here. As well, I generally notice that Vietnamese spots that only do English menus aren't that great. However, I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed by their pho. The broth was super clear and tasted just like mom's home cooked pho. The meats were tender and veggies fresh. I also ordered their mango lilikoi drink, which was sweet and refreshing. I wasn't particularly a fan of the order then seat yourself to be served after style, but the servers and cashier were friendly and the food was good which mattered most. I know their prices are a little steeper, but it's also what you get for the ambiance and the timing, plus the extra choices for drinks. Came here after a night of drinking with friends and it definitely hit the spot! They are open late and food came out very quickly! The cashier was warm and friendly. Since this place is near a university, it was open late and quite popular. The broth was decent and they even accommodated extra noodles for my husband. My lovely girlfriend and I decided to DoorDash some dinner last week on 10.30.25 and I told her to browse through my saved stores on it and let her pick someplace out. This was what she wound up picking and I'm glad she did! I've been here before, once with a buddy of mine, and though I can't say much about the inside of the place as I don't remember too much about it, it was a nice serviceable, chill little spot in downtown Tempe and I'm sure it's a great spot for college students to go and lounge/eat at. The DoorDash we got consisted of Pho fresh noodle soup for my girlfriend with a side of the beef spring rolls, and vermicelli noodles with Korean BBQ ribs for me with a side of egg rolls and an ube drink. The ube drink was absolutely delicious and was probably my favorite part of the meal, with the Korean BBQ ribs being my second favorite part. I believe in ube supremacy, that shit is a holy elixir. The taste of the Korean barbecue wings was exquisite as well, and the noodles were pretty solid but nothing too crazy. I will say it gave me 0 stomach issues after eating so that is an absolute win in my book. My girlfriend loved the fresh noodle soup, and the egg rolls were delicious and their sweet and sour sauce was amazingly tasty! I put my noodles in a bowl with some of her broth and it definitely elevated them in terms of taste, their broth is served like a warm hug from a loved one, it is very refreshing and smooth. Overall we like this place and we will more than likely DoorDash it again in the future or maybe we will stop in next time we're in Tempe, we'll see. If you order a side of vegetables it's not worth it. Good place to eat in or take out. Lots of other items on there menu too. Parking can be a problem there. I ordered delivery from them while on a work trip and feeling the need for something comforting. Interestingly, their reviews on DoorDash are a lot better than yelp. I got the veggie spring rolls and the veggie pho. The spring rolls were decent, but there was definite room for improvement - could have been tighter rolled and the filling could have been more flavorful. That being said, they worked for me. The veggie pho was sadly disappointing to me. The depth of flavor was missing, as was the umami - i feel like they just didn't put enough effort into the broth and it was completely lackluster. They also choose to put whole baby carrots into the pho broth which were not only half raw, but very difficult to eat. For what I paid - I got 4 measly pieces of tofu and I expected a lot more. I also think a tiny packaged sachet of hoisin sauce is not enough and kinda insulting when your pho lacks flavor anyway. Too much broccoli to bulk up the soup and not enough substance in my opinion. Shame on me for hurrying with my order and not looking at yelp reviews before I did! Another pet peeve - I doordashed to my hotel room. I had no available utensils like a bowl or something to mix my pho in. I really think the restaurant should provide the option to provide some sort of disposable bowl ( I'd be happy to pay for it even), to allow for a better eating experience. I was in town to celebrate my bachelor party. After a long night out, we definitely needed something to eat. You could never go wrong with pho! My hesitancy is that I don't know the quality of pho in Arizona. As someone from the Bay Area, the bar is pretty high. Quick note first, they supposedly don't use MSG. But bigger than that, if you use credit card, there's a 3% charge. So be prepared with cash unless you're ok with the extra credit card service fee. To my surprise, the price is same as California. I was hoping it be cheaper. I got the beef pho. It seemed like the beef pho is the best bang for the buck. It's not as good as Cali, but it's comparable. I liked the broth for the beef pho. The meatball was not fresh. The brisket was decent, but I wish there was more. The noodles were decent other than the fact that they were so thin, it broke off very easily. Thai tea - Like the rest of the order, great if you need a thai tea fix, or if you've never had it before. Boba was softer than I'd like and lacked a chewiness.
