The Bourbon Bacon Meatballs weren't a hit this time, which was disappointing. We remembered them being more saucy and flavorful, but they tasted like the frozen meatballs from the store with some sauce on top. Very underwhelming. I grabbed the Bee Sting, which consisted of honey habanero moonshine, lemon juice and simple syrup and I loved it. We also ended the night with Espresso Martinis. Overall, the food just didn't hit the mark this time but the drinks were great as always. My friend even had them customize a drink for her and it turned out very good. They have one of the best selection in the Hampton Roads area. You can find your popular named sticks along with boutique brands as well. Smoke shack also encourages feedback and suggestions on what sticks to bring in. Another reason I like coming here is because of the lounge and the smoking hours that they hold. There are two TVs that have a seating area lined with leather couches and recliners. Along with this relaxed atmosphere the lounge comes with some pretty awesome regulars that enhance the smoking experience. They host cigar events where vendors come with swag and some pretty good deals on boxes and bundles. One of my fondest memories here was when I watched the National Championship game here. It was an awesome time and they stayed open late so we could watch the entire game. No other cigar shop in town was doing that, major points in my book. My only gripe about this location is the lounge is a little small but I think it is designed that way to feel like you're in your buddy's man cave having a stick.
