On multiple occasions, including earlier today during my lunch break, the front desk informed me that the clinic was too busy and advised me to go to the Ahwatukee location instead. After work, I returned to Kyrene at 4:28pm. There was only one person ahead of me, and the clinic was still open for another 30 minutes. However, I was again told that they had already taken their "last patient" for the day and that I needed to go elsewhere. I then drove to the Dobson location in Mesa, where I arrived at 4:47pm. I checked in, made my payment, and had my x‑ray completed by 5:02pm. The entire process took only a few minutes, which made it even more confusing why Kyrene could not accommodate me under similar circumstances. I understand that staffing levels and workflow can vary, but the inconsistency between what Kyrene advertises and what patients actually experience is concerning. If walk‑ins are not consistently accepted or if there is an earlier cutoff time, clearer communication would help prevent unnecessary travel, time lost, and frustration. Upon arrival, they gave me a one-page health survey to fill out, which I did and within 10 minutes they had called me back to the testing area. They had me put my purse into a locked locker (of which I held the key for), and took me into the MRI suite. They had me lay down on the table, and even gave me a blanket as it was a little chilly in the room. The MRI took about 15 minutes to complete and I was out of the office by 8:05am (just 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time). Perfect. The employees were fabulous and I have zero complaints. Hope I dont have to go back for more testing, but if I do, I'll gladly go to this location.

I had a ct scan on 10/15. WS told very sternly by the new office manager that from now on, I have to bring someone with me; that they are short staffed and will not spend the 75 seconds required for the ct scan to sit with me! The office mgr at this location has a lot to learn about customer/patient care. If this were my clinic, she'd be gone. The other issue is that I asked them to print out the films on a cd and mail it to my neurosurgeons office in Phoenix! Not only did the surgeon never receive it, but when I called advanced to see if they sent it out, they said there was no date indicating when it was sent, just says "mailed." Now I know usps has been slow, but it doesn't take 15 days to mail a cd from Mesa to Phoenix! THIS OFFICE IS COMPLETELY INEPT AT ANYTHING. There are plenty other radiographic places to go; why settle for an office that just doesn't care. Definitely will never be going back there.

After each time I would receive a bill that would not match my EOB statement from my insurance company. I had to call each time to dispute the bill. They usually complied with my insurance company after a couple phone calls. The most recent bill they did not agree with my insurance and wanted an extra $300 over my EOB. I went on their website and paid what my insurance company told me I owed with my HSA. Simon Med is claiming to never have gotten what I paid them. My HSA has a record of the money going to Simon Med. Simon Med said I paid 'the wrong department' and cannot find the funds and threatened to send me to collections. I paid the full bill to avoid collections - so now I OVERPAID Simon Med by $300 and they refuse to refund me. My HSA won't refund me because they said it's been over 60 days. I decided to get mammograms and breast ultrasounds at a different company after the billing issue. The radiologist told me she sees no reason why Simon Med told me to come every 6 months for screening. I truly believe their billing department is fraudulent or at the very least unethical. I believe they told me to keep coming every 6 months just for the money and not because anything on my scan looked cancerous.

No sympathy, no time for me to breathe through my sobs. He acted as though he was in a hurry to get to lunch and would I please stop carrying on. I was barely 30 years old and being told I needed breast surgery, and that it could be cancer by someone who was not qualified to have that conversation with me. Again, not by an actual doctor but by a pompous little Xray prick. Years later and I still think of driving back there and kicking him in the balls. Luckily the drugs I had to take back then have distorted my memory of that time so I can't really remember what he looks like. Anyway do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. It's so sad to see healthcare workers in any capacity treating patients as if they're such a bother. I was already worried about this appointment, because it was my first, but there was a redemption. The tech who did the imaging for my mammogram was Shelby -- she turned the experience around. Shelby was so kind, professional, and put me at ease. She explained to me exactly how the appointment would go, and what to expect next. If I could give 5 stars to her, I would. Overall, I would highly recommend looking at reviews ahead of time-- if you have a choice to go someplace else, do it.
