The woman that was working in the store was literally 5 feet away, but she didn't say anything or offer any help at all. She just kept gossiping with another customer, even though she saw my wife fall down. Unacceptable behavior. On the only positive side, the clerk did greet us when we walked into the store. Note that there are two small steps inside the store, and my wife tripped on the 2nd step. My wife saw the first step, but didn't anticipate a 2nd step a small distance away, since this is not typical. The sign was no help. Perhaps the store should consider getting rid of the steps and installing a ramped-floor instead.

I usually wear large to extra large in shirts so i ordered them in XXL to be sure; when they arrived and I tried them on, however, they are in reality slightly smaller even than a large in a standard men's shirt. I like them so much I'm keeping them, however. I don't know if this sizing standard applies to any of their other men's tops. I tend to think not, as I have noted wonky sizing in Indian madras shirts from another retailer and I suspect it is due to to the manufacturers in India having different standards than US. I also have a pair of their madras board shorts, and I'd say it fits true to size. Having said all this, Kiel James Patrick is extremely generous and lightning-fast in making exchanges, as long as clothing is unworn, unwashed, and with all tags remaining on the garment and received writhin the deadline. Some people consider this brand to be very expensive; I find them to cost less than some competitors, however, which is very pleasing and figured in my buying decision. I just gotta close with a shout-out to their packaging: The elaborate box and inside wrapping will blow you away and ensures your product arrives without wrinkles or any sort of damage from shipping.

The sweet employee called her manager Gregory Hall who told her they "do not do that" and they would not give me back my money. I believe the item was mismarked and it rang up in the register as $39.50. However, it was tagged at $35. This is Not about the $4.50. It is the principal of the matter. Do the right thing. They would have actually made More Money from me if they just admitted their mistake. I was born and raised in Newport and I was home visiting family.
