Unfortunately, I will no longer be going to see S&C Dental. They charge TOO much. I have great dental insurance and it is depleted after one visit. They want all money up front before you even get the service done. I don't have thousands of dollars just sitting around to pay in full even before service has been done. They are NOT flexible at all with creating a dental payment plan. They just expect me to whip out a credit card and charge it. Like most working people I work paycheck to paycheck. I believe because of the swanky Scottsdale location, they just think everyone has that kind of money lying around. I am sad because I really loved that office.

His office is state of the art with more dental technology than I ever knew existed. His staff was extremely clean and friendly and they were able to talk me through the whole process so I felt extremely comfortable. My teeth came out whiter than ever and I never once experienced any sensitivity. He has sense taken over all my dental cleanings and work. I was even able to maintain my regularly scheduled visit during the COVID 19 outbreak. He had dedicated staff members sanitizing his office and he welcomed me at the door. Dr Willman is no longer with the practice. Huge, enormous, gigantic loss for Pima Dental. About four months ago, I returned because I needed to molars extracted. Let me note that after the extractions I had fully intended beginning work on all my lower teeth, fully expecting to make another substantial investment. This practice is not inexpensive... in my view it is extremely overpriced (especially after I share what happened below). I was prepared to pay another substantial amount to complete my treatment. I did miss one appointment due to a personal emergency. I attempted to call but was unable to get through, and at the time my focus understandably had to be on the emergency. At my next scheduled appointment, I drove over 45 minutes from north Phoenix. I arrived and had X-rays done, and then met with a dentist who informed me that two teeth would need to be extracted by an oral surgeon and that the procedure could not be done there. While the dentist was courteous, the appointment ultimately resulted in a two-hour round trip simply to be referred elsewhere. I wish this had been communicated to me beforehand. As I was leaving, I was stunned when I was told not to leave and was informed that I owed a $50 missed-appointment fee. Mandy, the office manager, whom I had worked with before made it be known that I needed to pay $50. What disappointed me most was not the amount itself, but the complete lack of empathy or discretion--especially toward a long-standing patient who had already invested heavily in the practice and was prepared to invest significantly more. I understand that offices have cancellation policies. However, patient relationships should involve more than strict enforcement of fees. In my experience, this practice places profits above patient goodwill and patient satisfaction. Between the high costs of treatment and the rigid handling of this situation, it left me feeling that policies mattered more than people. As a business owner myself, I believe long-term trust, empathy, and relationships are what sustain a practice--not nickel-and-diming loyal patients. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to seek care elsewhere for the remainder of my treatment, and I will not be recommending this office moving forward ever again! I hope this feedback is taken constructively. My initial experience here was excellent, attributed primarily to Dr Willman, which makes this outcome all the more disappointing.

First off, the dental assistants are great and always do a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. They are friendly, professional, thorough and gental while cleaning. The office itself is very beautiful and clean. The walls and ceilings are painted beautifully. They also offer a headset to listen to the TV they have in front of each chair while they work on your teeth if you are uncomfortable. I actually look forward to my dentist visits here. The technology they have for checking and cleaning your teeth is as modern and high tech as it gets. Lastly, Dr Lachot is great. Excellent at what he does and I can easily give him five stars for the work he and his staff do. If your insurance covers their services you definitely should go there too!
