What I expected to be a regular appointment turned into nearly seven hours of patience, teamwork, and genuine effort to get my hair as close as possible to the look I wanted. Dale-Ann was kind, talented, and never made me feel rushed. Both Dale-Ann and Erica went above and beyond while still protecting the health of my hair. They even added hair tinsel at no charge, which was such a sweet surprise. I also purchased the Aveda products they recommended because I want to properly care for my hair after all the work they put into it. I'm so grateful for their time, honesty, and dedication. First time at this salon. This is in the top 5 worst haircuts I've ever had. It is going to take at least 8 weeks or more to get to a point where I feel like I can go out of the house without feeling embarrassed to be in public. Joy cut my hair. Without going onto the whole terrible experience with Joy as my stylist, my hair was butcherd. My hair is not blended in back, she might as well have buzzed it totally off on the back. One side has a line the other side does not, so one side is longer than the other and she cut it so short I cannot do ANYTHING with it. She was not willing to listen to anything and was passive-aggressive if downright confrontational. I am SO ANGRY. I paid $70 for a totally screwed up hair cut. had to come home to cut some off the bottom on one side to even it out. What a disaster. read more

I had an appointment with Dale Ann for a full highlight and cut over my existing highlights, and she blew me away with her precision and skill! She made sure she understood the look I was asking for and prioritized keeping my hair healthy. The haircut was THE BEST I've ever gotten-- I have very thick hair that often feels heavy and flat, and the butterfly cut she gave me left it feeling light and textured. It was all for a very reasonable price too, which I really appreciated since I've been given quotes that were way off by salons in the past. This was my first time at this salon as I've waited six months to make an appointment anywhere after an extremely bad experience at a salon in Roseville that severely damaged my hair. To say I was nervous and apprehension would be an understatement! Right from the start the staff at Simply Hair impressed me. The women taking my phone appt inquiry was very friendly. I arrived early and was happy I did not have a long wait at all. The salon was very clean, clients were spaced well apart and the stylists wore masks (properly) the entire time. Kari helped me with my cut and color. She took time to listen to my hair problems and consulted with a 2nd stylist. She did a wonderful job, explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable, not rushed and I was able to relax, feeling as I was in very good hands. I came here to get a full set of highlights. JOY was my stylist. I was super excited because my experience was positive last time. There was no sign of orange or brasiness the first time I did it. Second time, I come here and she is almost yelling at me saying that I need to do a base color with my highlights in order to achieve the color I want. I trust her and she does no highlights around my face even though I am paying for a full foil. Last time I paid $200+ for a full foil. She is complaining to me the entire time about how long it takes. Before she puts on the base color, I tell her that I do not want to be orange. She proceeds anyway and when I get out of the shampoo chair, my roots are bright orange. (If I wanted bright orange roots, I could have dyed my own hair at home). She has no problem with and asks me what I think. I tell her that this is not okay and I'm not paying $200+ for orange hair. Well, she tries to fix it by dying my roots dark again but the orange has leaked onto all my highlights. My entire head of hair is ruined and I have been scammed by SIMPLY HAIR. Now, I have to find a new stylist to fix this $200+ mistake. Save your money and your time, do not come to SIMPLY HAIR. read more

Butchered!!!! Worst haircut my husband has EVER had. First time trying this salon (due to his hairdresser moved) Called because of 5 star reviews. Spoke to the owner at time appointment asking for someone who knew how to cut fine curly hair not to short just down past the nap of his neck. Just wanted a trim. No problem she says. What he got was someone who had no clue how to cut a mans hair. The gal literally whacked it all off without even asking him along the way how it looked. I was shocked to say the least.
