The food was good as usual but the service left a lot to be desired. I came with my hungry family of four, and we were emptying our chips and salsa serving a lot. It was a little tough to get a refill while we waited for our order to make it to the table. When we asked for an additional serving of pico we were told there was an extra charge (which was fine at $2), but it never arrived. I come here all the time with my daughter after swimming at the Snohomish aquatic center and the service is great. Tonight however we felt abandoned, chipless, pico deficient, and a little sad for the experience. I think you need a few more peeps to handle the summer crowds. read more

Unfortunately Todo Mexico has had a serious decline the past few times we've been here. The food and service has always been just okay but during the summer time the outdoor area is nice by the river. However the past couple times we've been here the service has been increasingly terrible. We joked the first time about them bringing a leaf blower outside while 2 tables were finishing their food/drinks at 9:15. Which we admittedly felt bad at first because closing is at 9pm. However, it seems typical to stop serving at a certain time - then there being a slight leeway for customers to finish and leave before shutting the lights off and aggressively getting people to leave. Tonight however, they asked about drink refills at 8:50, served them at 8:55, tab at 9:00 and at 9:06 had all of the lights off and the leave blower out - obviously as the get the ef out. Simple don't offer more beverages and then rush people out. Aggressively, terrible customer service for okay food and decent summer views. Unfortunate that you can see by the recent reviews how much local business this place is loosing. There's so many more places on first street with a good atmosphere and decent food worth your money - and definitely better restaurants for Mexican food if that's what you're craving. read more

If you want a slightly better version of Taco Bell, then this is the place for you. Unfortunately the quality of food was very poor. Service was what you would expect of a low par diner and ambience was only decent since you had a view of the river. My suggestion would be to add more fresh ingredients, have employees smile a bit more especially when you first walk in and maybe give a little more chips and salsa to a family of 4 vs what we would get for 2 people anywhere else. Todo Mexico was a pleasant surprise. We got a table on the patio, because the weather was perfect out. The service here is AMAZING! We got our orders in fast and the drinks were there quickly. The margaritas were well done. My chile rellenos were fantastic! The batter was good, the pepper and the cheese were cooked well. I devoured it! The meal was a great experience for our whole party! I would give this restaurant a -1 star if I could. How can 3 burritos, 2 enchiladas, and 1 chicken fajita--with only water to drink--cost $175? To make matters worse, the food was disappointing. This must be under new management because they seem to be cutting corners on everything. The burritos and enchiladas had very little meat, the portions of rice and beans were tiny, and some dishes didn't even come with rice and beans at all. We checked out this location for the first time on Mother's Day. It was steadily busy and we were able to get a table right away. The staff was working extra hard to make sure everyone had a pleasant experience. They gave all the mothers roses after their meal. It was so thoughtful. I was surprised how big the restaurant was on the inside. It was separated by numerous rooms. It cut down on the amount of noise. They have a large patio and many people were seated outside. I didn't see anyone waiting in a line to get a table. I think the food came out quickly so that helped a lot. The food was excellent and I really enjoyed the carne asada. The margaritas were great too! Only downside was the bathrooms are very very small. We will definitely be back to try more from their menu. Hands down the best Mexican food. So fresh and delicious. The service is excellent and the view cannot be beat. We ordered the Macho burrito and the Mole enchiladas and we both thought they were the best we've had anywhere. Will be returning frequently. So sorry to have to say this but, We were seated in a nice small rooms with a few other tables. Its made up of different areas. We are in our mid 80's. Not sure why they think we sould have to be seated in a room then full it with 5 loud children when there was other rooms that were empty. O well. Gentleman how was to be our waiter seemed to act like we were taking up his time and he had better things to do other then serve us. Next, the food came to our table. Hmm, looks good. Large servings. I had ensalada and tosdata. Both were tasteless. Not really impressed with my pick. The wife got the Buritto. Huge, but to her, it was so in so. My ice tea was empty about half way though dinner. Never saw our waiter again until it was time for him to bring us a check. I think I was generous by leaving a 20% tip for him. But, we will not be going back as we have to many other Mexican Resturants they go to that beats this one. Again, I had to leave bad reviews, but it was money not well spent. I had the Macho Burrito (incredible flavor and portion size), my wife had the Chicken Burrito (perfectly seasoned), and our son had the grilled cheese and fries -- even the kids' food was on point. Everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. On top of that, the service was top tier -- super friendly and attentive the entire time. We had friends from out of state first time in WA they wanted Mexican and Todo Mexico fit into our "let's show em our home town" day. Summer time at TM is great if you can get patio seating. Alas we were there a bit late and patio was FULL. So we sat in the bar w a view outside. If you haven't been here. It's located above the snohomish river and trail. So if you're seated on the south side inside the restaurant you'll have a nice view of the water out of their big windows. Nothing fancy at this place but has the Mexican art, murals and vibe down. Food has always been good. I don't think I've eaten here once and had a bad meal. But keep in mind it more of your typical mexAmerican food. If you want authentic, that's a diff review and restaurant. we ordered & shared: - pork carnitas - carne asada - chicken enchiladas Of course lots of pico de gallo and chips and topped it off with a few beers and margaritas. I have mixed feelings about my experience. I noticed they have an outdoor seating area, but since it was cold outside, we weren't able to use it. For our large group, we had to sit in a different dining area, which was not cozy at all. It felt more like a food court than a restaurant. I believe they need to improve that aspect. The food was tasty, but I found the portion sizes to be large and the prices to be high for a restaurant of this kind. The prices definitely seemed too steep. On a positive note, the staff was friendly. I might consider coming back one more time to try the outdoor seating, but that could be it. Overall, the food was good, though. read more

Located in Snohomish along the main drag. Has an awesome view of the river, street parking is limited and you may need to park on a side street but the food is worth a little walk. We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered. Window seats give you a great view of the river and river walk. The half serving of black bean soup was huge. We were not able to eat all of it plus our entree. The guacamole was delicious and just the way I like it, creamy with chunks. My taco salad was a little on the small side but very filling and came with a choice of protein The enchiladas and rice were perfectly cooked. This meal was the worst mexican food we have ever had! When the chips and runny red salsa are the most flavorful and that's a stretch. Ordered the trio fajitas. Served on a huge plate. No sizzling cast iron guaranteed hot meats and veggies. Beans were barely warm and no cheese. No tortillas came with food so we just waited as the warm food got cold. Literally!! I asked if they had cheese for the beans and they brought out a little bowl of shredded cheese that of course didn't melt on cold beans . That side of worthless cheese cost us 2.25 A server did eventually bring us a side of hot beans but everything was cold at this point. No salsa or pico to zazz up the taste. No water refills. I swear the waitress was pouring water for the 3rd time for the dog at the next table and I had to tap her arm and ask if I could have some of that. Just a gross overpriced meal. Went here while visiting the area. Met some friend, had a seat overlooking the Snohomish River. A beautiful area. The service was very good. Our server kept checking in making sure everything was ok. I am delighted to update my review with more praise. My hubby and I headed in for a late lunch this Saturday and sat in the bar. We had a beautiful view of the Snohomish River from our booth. Do not miss the margaritas here! Last time I had a skinny and it was the best ever. This time I opted for one of their delicious fresh fruit margaritas. They have so many flavors to choose from: pineapple, mango, pomegranate, tamarind, peach, pear, raspberry, blueberry and blackberry. I'm probably forgetting a few. I loved the pomegranate. Served up and on the rocks with fresh pomegranate seeds floating around. My husband ordered the mango and his too had bits of mango in the drink. No artificial syrupy additives here! My husband had a chimichanga and a tamale. He enjoyed them both. I ordered the chipotle enchilada and cleaned. my. plate. It was phenomenal. I asked for extra chips just to lap up the delicious sauce. I will be back and will absolutely be ordering that again. And a margarita or two. read more

Not a lot to choose from that's vegetarian friendly. Fresh fruit margaritas (mango and tamarindo) were wonderful. Cactus salad was not something you find on every Mexican restaurant menu and was a definite hit. Guacamole was laughably small. What, was that like half an avocado?? It was a gorgeous night in lovely Snohomish, so my friend and I decided to eat at Todo Mexico, which overlooks the majestic Snohomish River. The view was stellar, but a star was lost because of the Pico de Gallo. Please, buckle your seatbelts and keep your hands in the vehicle, because we're in for a heckuva ride! Ok, so I ordered the chimichannga with ground beef. I normally always get chicken, but I decided to live life on the ground side. I'm so glad I did, because everything about that burrito was Davy Jones, "how 'bout the flip side groovy! (that's a Brady Bunch reference, in case you whippeer snappers are following along!). Drinks were only refilled after flagging someone down and then it was all ice. I do not recommend this restaurant.
