This was great it's hot outside we didn't wait long. We were able to grab a booth. It's a clean restaurant the bathroom is clean and the food was good. Chicken kabob with onions and the pilaf was delicious. We ordered some lentil soup and it came pita bread. The only disappointment is the garlic sauce doesn't come with the pita. Ok so the last 3 visits...twice picked up take -out and both times the food was either wrong and/or far below average....the 3rd time I dined at the restaurant and the quality again was almost inedible...undercooked chicken and the fattoush dressing was literally just oil and sumac...no acid(lemon juice) or seasoning(salt) at all...and it was some rancid oil...probably cheap canola and definitely not olive oil. Food is good. It is expensive and my sense of value was greatly diminished by two things: 1. If you pay with a card the machine asks for you to select a tip percentage prior to signing. Worst customer service ever! My boyfriend and I went in once to order food and Tanya, the girl behind the counter was rude as f***! Still we were super polite and ordered our food only to find out when we got home that they completely messed up my order! I had ordered the salmon and they gave me some biscuit looking entree. We drive back and tell Tanya (the girl who took our order) that we ordered the salmon. She proceeds to open the container, look at it, and turn to another employee and say "They said they ordered the salmon." Acting as if she had no idea when she was the one we ordered with! Ridiculous! She never once apologized. Just acted super annoyed and said they were gonna fix it and that was it. Well we decided to give them another try. My boyfriend only had a 30 min lunch so I went ahead and ordered ahead of time online. I go in and there she is again! I tell her I'm picking up my food and she says there are no orders. I tell her I ordered online and she goes to look and says "Oh our online ordering is actaully turned off." Again never once apologizing. She says that they can make it right now but it'll take about 30 min. I ask for a refund instead and she says that I would have to go through Grubhub. So I'm like whatever just make the food. My boyfriend shows up and after waiting for a bit she brings out our food but doesn't say a word. We ask for some sauces and she proceeds to charge us! Couldn't even comp us 1 or 2 sauces! We went here & ordered a very simple 3 piece falafel & a small rice pilaf, had about 5-8 min to wait & we were told that this order with all of 2 items would take 10-15 min!!! I told the cashier, "Nevermind" & she just stared at me without saying a word. No apologies. Add to that the blasting Christian music, & you're not sure if you're being asked to wait for such a long time to have worship time, maybe? Nothing against Christian music but the blasting volume after a long day at work is not relaxing. Yesterday we ordered some food via Grubhub and they messed it up. To be clear, it was the restaurant not Grubhub, as the bag was folded and stapled shut. The first thing they did was add veggies to one of the meals, when we specifically requested no veggies. They pile the veggies on top of the other food and they change the taste and are messy to pull off. Not good. The second thing they did was completely forget to include the side of JuJu sauce AND the extra side of JuJu sauce. When we called them to voice our displeasure, the guy actually asked "are you sure?" when we told him there was no sauce in the bag. As if we're the idiots. To top it off, he said there was nothing they could do and that we'd have to take it up with Grubhub, even though it wasn't Grubhub that made the error. The lack of quality control feels like malicious incompetence. If you do not check every container in your take out order you will be missing something. The sauce in question is probably less than a tablespoon.
