He needed a set of new bearings as one of his wheels was grinding. 3 Way Street was recommended, so we headed over there. The place is very close ti the intersection of Eagle & Darby roads, across from Grace Chapel. With its bright green sign, it's very easy to find. We parked in a metered lot - 25 cents for 30 minutes - and walked the 1/4 block to the shop. Inside it's filled with a nice selection of everything a skateboarder needs from boards to wheels. Super nice and friendly guy had the bearings, and also lubricated his existing set so they rolled freely again. They had gotten wet and one had rusted. We bought an extra set of bearings for future use. Great little store, we'll be back.

People cut in line, employees didn't do anything about it, and they only had 10 shoes for sale, most people who got one cut in line. I waited for 6 hours, and the least they could have done was let people know how many pairs they have. They wasted more than 30 people's time. Terrible management. They explained what needed adjustments etc. There were other services that we could have gotten done but they were not necessary for the kind of ride we use. They were transparent with what kind of work needed to get done, basically. We bought both of our kids' bikes here. They are pretty nice bikes. One outgrew her kiddie bike and the other still needs training wheels. Prices were fair to market value plus we liked their selections. Just to clarify. The tune ups and the purchases for the bikes were separate occasions. Different teammates helped us but same excellent service. They also carry snowboarding/skiing gear and have off season sales! I let this slide since I only go once or twice a year. But since I am going on a three day ski trip this year I figured I owed it to my feet to get some work done on my boots. Even after many years the staff at Ski Bum still punched out my boots for me free of charge because all of their boots are sold with a fit guarantee! (You definitely won't get this type of service if you shop online for boots!) They do not work on your boots straight away so bring them in a week before your next ski trip. The person working at Whiskers even sat a cat in my lap, told me his name (Oscar), and said he was available if I wanted to take him home. Let me tell ya - I was very tempted. This guy was a sweetie! The cafe isn't the nicest place I've ever been. It needs some TLC and the coffee & tea is Keurig style. Just an FYI if you're going to Whiskers thinking it is as nice as other cat cafes you've seen, because it isn't. However, the primary purpose for its existence is to find these cats a loving home. If that's something you're interested in, then you should visit.
