I had thought splitting checks was a very common practice, and I absolutely did NOT ask patrons to sit in specific order. White Dog in UC didn't do that either (or anywhere else). Perhaps White Castle is more within her playing field. Some courses in sensitivity training may aid in her professional development. And they wanted to charge like $4 per person since someone baked cupcakes.... reminder that most people also ordered dessert on top of all this. They can go pound the sand.

The coffee selection was decent for a cat cafe with a big selection of flavor syrups to add to your drink. The little gift shop was fairly priced and had a lot of unique things. I loved the little black cat mascot, as we have a few furry voids at home. There was about 16 cats in the room when we went on a Saturday afternoon. You can tell they are well taken care of and that the staff cleans very frequently in there. With the 3 of us and the other family we had enough room that we didn't feel jammed in. There was one orange cutie that kept trying to knock my Niece's drink off the windowsill, and a precious long haired grey cat that claimed my husband's lap for the last half of the hour. We were given wet treat tubes to feed them which all the cats went nuts for and there were plenty of feather wands and toys for us to interact with the ones who wanted to play. The coal theme plays in perfectly to the area and the wagon appears to be the hang out area for the cats. It was a fun experience we plan to do again soon. It's a great cause (socializing and getting cats adopted) and the owner is obviously passionate about the mission.

Their goal is to find homes for these adorable felines and so far have placed 24 cats into forever homes in just three months. As Ron mentioned, you don't do this kind of business to get rich. I think it's more of a vocation. There is coffee and packaged treats available for sale. Not only that but a selection of T shirts, and fun toys for your favorite feline. The real stars here are the wonderful cats. I personally love how the owners tied in the Coal Region history into this modern forward thinking (in all the right ways) business. You will sign a waiver to enter (customary) the cat area. It is themed with all things Coal, like a mine decoration, pick axe and even a "coal wagon" delivery wagon (the cats seem to love it). We stopped by in passing but you may reserve time online. The number of people permitted is six maximum. The only other such cafe I knew of was in Philadelphia. I believe thanks to Covid and lockdowns that went under. The owners are enthusiastic about helping animals and customers visiting. There was so much to look at and they had so many fun things throughout the shop. You could easily spend a good amount of time walking around and looking at everything. It was so good and such a fun thing to try while visiting the shop. They even have a restroom, which was a nice bonus since we were already spending some time there. We were able to bring him back within the same week. Just make sure that your references are available and know to pick up Operation Ava's phone call to make the process go smoothly and quickly. My favorite part about Operation Ava was that they kept the dogs in private rooms, instead of crates. Overall, they were very helpful when adopting him,giving us tips on what he likes and didn't like. A year later, I visited Saved Me again with my BF & a couple of friends. That was when I met Maggie, one of the sweetest pitbull mixes you'll ever meet. My GF & I fell in love with her instantly. We wanted to adopt her on the spot, but agreed with our BFs that we'll sleep on it to make sure we won't change our mind. I sure as heck didn't change my mind. Jessica at Saved Me was very helpful over the phone. I emailed her my application & provided her all the information she needed for me to be an approved adopter. I've had Maggie for over 2 weeks now & I LOVE her. She loves people & has an outgoing personality. She gets along with dogs easily & is so easy to train. I love that Saved Me allows you to get personal with the dogs before you make an inform decision. I played with Maggie for an hour & that's when I knew she was perfect. If you're looking to adopt, definitely go to Saved Me. You'll have the opportunity to meet dogs of various personalities & get to play with them as often as you would like before you decide if you're suitable for each other.
