This is my first time at Togo's with my coworkers and it was good. I like it but it did take a bit long. But we were just picking up our orders to bring to the office. I would go back again.

I am so upset that the quality in your subs has really declined. The meat on my family size 16 was paper thin. I have been a lifetime customer and this is unacceptable.

I think I've rated this Togos 1 star before? Well if I have here I am again giving it 1 star. I stoped by at 745 pm with about 15 to spare before closing time to get a sandwich,. I see the open sign turned on and some folks drinking at the bar and some employees walking around the sand which station. I get off the car and try opening the door and it's locked, all the people inside near the bar area and the sandwich station turn around without letting us know they're closed I walk away. After I get in the car I see an employee coming up to the door and placing a chair to secure the door from opening, keep in mind the doors are already locked at 745 pm. @TOGOS, if you're closing before your scheduled time please update google, yelp and the hours of operation outside of your door. I don't know why I keep coming here if I get horrible service.

I work down the street, so I tend to get a quick sandwich from here at least once a week. The sandwiches are pretty good, loaded with meat and the works to your liking. Also, they are as cheap as McDonalds (yuk) super size meals; that is if you order one of the daily crazy combos. Mysteriously, the take-out sandwiches are roughly $0.35 cheaper, so even when planning to eat on location, I order as takeout. Although the food, price and location are optimal, the ordering process can be quite exhausting. This is the actual dialogue from today's visit: Togo's: What would you like to order? Me: I'll have today's roast beef combo on sourdough with everything but mayo...to-go please Togo's: What kind of bread...white or wheat? Me: Neither...sourdough Togo's: Which combo? Me: Roast beef Togo's: Did you want everything on that? Me: Yes, but no mayo Togo's: Mustard? Me: Yes Togo's: Did you want the combo? Me: Yes Togo's: For here or to-go? Me: To-go It's exhausting to repeat myself multiple times, and it makes me wonder if they simply can't remember my order or if they are confirming it. I think it's the former, so during my next visit I will order in baby steps to minimize the repetition. Although repetitive, the service is polite and they do make delicious and fresh sandwiches, no skimping on anything. If you want to skip the longer lines, make sure you arrive prior to the lunch rush that typically begins at around 11:45.

Great service, 3 of us were together and he was pretty fast getting everything prepared for us! The sandwiches for all of us were to satisfaction, and we will probably go back to have lunch every so often! Great place to grab sandwiches, kind of like subway, however you don't pick all you want on each sandwich, though you can take on or add as you want! Bonus for getting a free drink when checking in on Yelp. They have a bar.. Which I find kind of interesting for a sandwich place, but there were quite a few people there getting drinks, so I am assuming they have been before and appreciate the service and products. Over all pretty good experience, nothing fancy, but does the trick for a nice lunch close to the business area.

I am up im the south bay area for work I have never been to a Togos like this-IT IS AWESOME! They have a full bar and delicious sandwiches! Saul is awesome and Lea the bartender is great! This is truly a unique restaurant/bar and i appreciate their vision! I usually get the #21 ( a veggie avocado sandwich) but tonight Saul had me try the Boom Boom (pastrami and boom boom sauce)! YUMMY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY OUT OF TOWNER. There's nothing like it around! (And I'm from Orange county. ..

I also found the chicken rice less fragrant than what I'm used to and a little dry as well, although the soup was good. The portion also felt smaller than expected for the price. Overall, there were both pros and cons, but it's still worth trying. I'd likely come back for the convenience when I'm craving chicken and rice but don't want to travel too far.

The sandwiches were on the pricey side, compared to sandwiches you can find at chains. We ate the curly fries to complement our sandwiches. The fries were crispy and comparable to those at Jack in the Box. To conclude, I would probably come here again because I like the texture and taste of crispy chicken sandwiches. The fried chicken sandwich itself was pretty great, you have to love breading because the breading is very very heavy, but the meat itself was just as juicy. Very very fair pricing for such a huge burger and in a very nice location as well. The tender beef wrap was not so great at all, the beef was far from tender and more chewy than anything. The sauce and the wrapper itself did not really go together. It felt like two cultures trying to mix and nothing really worked out here.

The girl at the counter was busy with customers, so I went to the back to ask about it, and the girl there said they didn't have any more. Then she just gave me this snarky look and smile. What kind of banh mi place doesn't have one of the key ingredients of a banh mi sandwich?! And this was about dinner time. What's worse is that they expected me to accept this AFTER I paid the full price for my food. That's so unprofessional and idiotic. It shares the plaza with a Chinese herbalist and acupuncturist. On a Sunday afternoon, the place was practically deserted. Perfect. I walked in and immediately realized this was much more than a sandwich counter. The tiny shop is crammed with prepared foods, spring rolls, steamed buns, Vietnamese desserts, dried snacks, candy and all kinds of things I couldn't identify but probably wanted. The main attraction, however, is the bánh mì. These are big sandwiches, and even the most expensive ones top out at around $9. I've been to 3 others Redwood City BBQ, South Winchester BBQ (San Jose), and Canyon's BBQ (Castro Valley) and I've reviewed most of those quite favorably, except for 1. But they have about 4 others that I haven't been but are on my list. I guess now I'll know they are more the same than they are different. I knew walking in that I was going to like it. A strong aroma of wood smoke hugs you upon entering. A cool mural outside, lots of beers and bbq on the tables, cool tunes that was all over the place genre wise. 2 Meat Combo ($26/4.5*) Crazy solid combo. Not as juicy as I would prefer but between the perfect smoke content and their seasoning just makes me happy enough. Brisket: Their brisket is awesome. Not as juicy as some of the top notch places here in the Bay, but the flavor was perfect for me. Assertive smokiness without being overbearing. Get a piece with a good layer of fat and it was basically hearty beef bacon. I rarely put sauce on brisket but theirs is not bad, maybe just a dot or 2. Ribs: Also drier than what I like but the flavor and meaty texture was enough for me. Definitely have to pull these off the bone a bit, does not easily fall off, which I actually prefer. I like toothsome versus mushy meat. These ribs do have a layer of bbq sauce cooked into them, so it has a sweet and tangy flavor already in it. But they still can accept extra sauce, as it will not only moisten the ribs further but it will amp up the tang and sweetness that pork ribs are natural for. Tried 2 sides, beans and coleslaw. The beans aren't the super sweet kind, which I liked. More chili-like very hearty and complimenting to the smoky bbq. The slaw was perfect, crisp with a creamy yet slightly sweet dressing. Crazy good, I could actually eat their sides alone as a meal. Their corn bread here is strange. It is cooked in a sheetpan and cut into squares much like a brownie. But that square is then griddled til golden brown so I totally thought it was garlic bread at first. The other bbq spots I tried from this same company didn't make corn bread like that, so this was a first for me. Probably the only miss for me here. Also tried a half pound of Tri Tip ($20/4*) Very meaty that they were able to keep it a nice pink medium, which I like. But much milder in smoke than their brisket and ribs. I ended up making sandwiches with these at home. They are sliced pretty thick so you may have to slice some of them further. It bites easier in thinner slices versus monster thick slices that will pull out of the bread with each bite. I learned that on this out so just throwing out a tip. A solid bbq throwdown with a cold frosty one, plus lots of leftovers for work lunches the next few days, is just an out I can repeat over and over. Glad I found this spot!

Very disappointed with the portions and customer service…read more We've been coming here at least once or twice a month because we genuinely love the BBQ. We recently started buying the meat by the pound, and unfortunately, we've now had the same issue twice. Last time, we ordered a pound of brisket and a pound of tri-tip. When we got home, the portions seemed unusually small, so we weighed them. Both were under 15 oz. We were disappointed but assumed it was just an isolated mistake. Today, we came back and ordered a pound of brisket and a pound of tri-tip again. Unfortunately, when we got home and weighed them, both portions were under 14 oz. That is a significant difference when you are paying by the pound. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the only response I received was essentially, "Sorry." We are regular customers and really enjoy the food, which makes this especially disappointing. Mistakes can happen, but having the same issue repeatedly and then receiving no meaningful response when bringing it to the restaurant's attention is not acceptable. If you're ordering meat by the pound, I strongly recommend checking the weight before leaving or as soon as you get home. At these prices, customers should receive the amount they are paying for. Great food is not enough if regular customers don't feel they are being treated fairly. I really hope the management addresses this, because we genuinely liked coming here and would hate to stop supporting a place we used to enjoy.
