Been thinking about Togo's for a few days and figured I'd swing by here after work. I had studied the menu the day before to see what new items they had and was surprised they had a chicken bacon ranch similar to subway's. Came in, got my sandwich made quick, sat down and took a giant bite and wow. The quality of the sandwiches here is pretty damn good! I loved how flavorful it was since I asked to have everything on it, and I could really taste the quality of the ingredients. If I could rate my sandwich I'd definitely give it a 10/10. Went to Togo's tonight with my wife, and have been here before. My wife needs a Gluten free diet. Togo's advertises gluten free and spinach wraps available and is currently posted on their menu and on the sandwich board in the restaurant. When my wife attempted to order a sandwich with a gluten free wrap, it was immediately said they do not do anymore which was disappointing, but again advertised as available. Disappointed, my wife chose a salad and was unable to order the sandwich she was hoping for. Very disappointing experience. Just a FYI if needing anything Gluten Free. read more

I think I've rated this Togos 1 star before? Well if I have here I am again giving it 1 star. I stoped by at 745 pm with about 15 to spare before closing time to get a sandwich,. I see the open sign turned on and some folks drinking at the bar and some employees walking around the sand which station. I get off the car and try opening the door and it's locked, all the people inside near the bar area and the sandwich station turn around without letting us know they're closed I walk away. After I get in the car I see an employee coming up to the door and placing a chair to secure the door from opening, keep in mind the doors are already locked at 745 pm. @TOGOS, if you're closing before your scheduled time please update google, yelp and the hours of operation outside of your door. I work down the street, so I tend to get a quick sandwich from here at least once a week. The sandwiches are pretty good, loaded with meat and the works to your liking. Also, they are as cheap as McDonalds (yuk) super size meals; that is if you order one of the daily crazy combos. Mysteriously, the take-out sandwiches are roughly $0.35 cheaper, so even when planning to eat on location, I order as takeout. Although the food, price and location are optimal, the ordering process can be quite exhausting. This is the actual dialogue from today's visit: Togo's: What would you like to order? Me: I'll have today's roast beef combo on sourdough with everything but mayo...to-go please Togo's: What kind of bread...white or wheat? Me: Neither...sourdough Togo's: Which combo? Me: To-go It's exhausting to repeat myself multiple times, and it makes me wonder if they simply can't remember my order or if they are confirming it. Great service, 3 of us were together and he was pretty fast getting everything prepared for us! The sandwiches for all of us were to satisfaction, and we will probably go back to have lunch every so often! Great place to grab sandwiches, kind of like subway, however you don't pick all you want on each sandwich, though you can take on or add as you want! Bonus for getting a free drink when checking in on Yelp. They have a bar.. Which I find kind of interesting for a sandwich place, but there were quite a few people there getting drinks, so I am assuming they have been before and appreciate the service and products. Nacho. This person is the reason I have been coming back to this eatery for three years. His customer service skills are beyond compare. He is quick to help with any difficult situation. The establishment has amazing qualities. A full bar with some of the finest beers on the market. The food is good, the sandwiches are extra tasty, and the location is convenient for those in the sunnyvale area. If I had any complaint, it would only surround the WiFi and the fact that they block content that might not be considered inappropriate. This place especially the Sunnyvale one also has a bar so anyone whose up for sandwiches and beer this is the place.togo's is very famous for their meat sandwiches and wraps but both me and my husband decided to try the vegetarian ones and trust me we were more than happy with how complete and full the wrap was.i had a super veggie wrap and my husband had the Greek veggie wrap.very well made with lots of veggies and a generous spread of hummus with cream cheese inside.definately value for money and effort! Well it's a Togos so not too much you can say I suppose. The biggest pro to this specific location for a lot of people is the fact that it has a full bar. So if you like a screwdriver with your pastrami then this place is for you. PROS 1 - Good portioned sandwiches. If you're a regular then sometimes the guys sneak a little extra meat on for you. 2 - Friendly staff 3 - It could be 5min to closing and these guys will take you're order and get you a sandwich made FAST! 4 - The place is always clean CONS 1 - Sandwiches can be made a bit sloppy. Maybe they are use to rushing with the lunch crowds? Sometimes the sandwiches can be sloppily put together. Bread sliding off, meat fall out of the sandwich etc. You'll see this more with a saucy sandwich like the BBQ Beef and it doesn't happen all the time so I can't dock them too much for this one. Otherwise this is a good Togos. Looks like a Togos and taste like a Togos and of course the BAR!. If you want to dodge lunch crowds then maybe another location is best for you. This TOGO's sets itself apart from other locations for 2 reasons: 1, I'm a Reuben guy. And most locations just don't know how to make a quality one. They usually heavy-hand the kraut or slather the edges with thousand island (ensuring it gets on your hands). This location has numerous sandwich makers that can construct a PERFECT roob. I just had one today and it was excellent, as always. 2, these guys don't short you on the Choose-2 lunch combo. Occasionally, I like to go half salad, half sandwich. This is the closest Togo's to work, and I have only gone a few times, always under duress. I just don't get the whole Togo's concept: Stand in line to have someone (usually with questionable grooming habits) put together a sandwich with substandard ingredients and then push you for extras like chips and drinks. On some visits, you get a wink and a whispered promise that you're getting "extra meat," or some such thing, whether you asked for it or not. And then you are expected to tip heavily for this experience. (Having been a waiter in a previous life, I normally tip well, but I just don't understand what I am tipping for here; I comply anyway). I did forgot to tip once, and then received some serious glares from more than one employee before I figured out why. In the end, with tip, the sandwich is always more than I would typically pay elsewhere. The sandwiches themselves are just OK. In short, I don't feel the urgent need to go back here any time this decade. Being an admin, when you cater food for lunch, and anything is wrong with the food, it comes late, tastes like crap, things are missing, etc, it's your fault, and not the restaurant's fault. With that being said, this Togo's truly understands the need to be on time, have everything together, and have perfect communication. They will call back to recheck your order, remember you on a first name basis, and make sure us admins look good doing our job. Even the delivery guys are great. They help us set up, even though the guys back at the shop are blowing up their phones wondering where they're at, because admins like me keep calling asking how close it is for the order to get there. A lot of pressure during the lunch rush hours. Once, I tried to stray, and gave Tasty Subs down the street a try. OMG, was I mortified when food for the CEO's meeting was 25 minutes late. This Togos location attracts a swarm of corporate and hi-tech goons like myself. It's close to work, has above-par sandwiches and has a full-bar. Yes, I'll say it again, a FULL bar. It's a pretty big place, but alas, I warn you, it gets packed with people at around 11:30-1pm. It's best to order ahead via phone and pick it up. I enjoy all of their sandwiches, but the best I've had was their black-forest ham with artichoke spread which was a sandwich of the day at one point. Unfortunately, they don't have it anymore and have to resort to a (yawn) turkey and avocado. Today, I tried their new Lemon-Pepper Tuna which wasn't too bad, but totally saturated in mayo. It had hints of pepper and lemon, so I was content that the sandwich was up to par with its description. Togos sandwiches are filling, even the regular sized ones. My suggestion is to go for a half/half. Either half sandwich, half soup or half salad combo. I tried their chicken caesar today and isn't wasn't too bad. Back in th' day in the South Bay there used to be a few Togo's restaurants that were large, fun-packed places with full bars. A lot of these no longer exist, save for this location. The owner (Jim) really goes out of his way to improve upon the establishment from time to time even though I honestly think he doesn't need to. Despite the existence of the bar, you can take your kids/family here without fear of it ever becoming too rowdy. I've yet to have a sloppy sandwich served to me outside of this one establishment. I used to not be into Togo's sandwiches growing up in the Bay Area mainly because their bread used to be so damned tough. This changed sometime in the late '90s, but by that point I was getting my sammiches from other sources. Despite this, I decided to give the Togo's @ Crossman a try some 13 yrs. back and since then I've been hooked. Regardless if I order a 17, 16, 10, or 9 [or even off-the-menu items that no longer exist at other Togo's but they will make it there, like the French Dip sandwich], the friendly fellas behind the counter always pack as much meat n' toppings as they can into my Large sandwiches. The bread is never tough like ye olde Togo's bread of yore. The chili, soup and salads are also made well here and I've never been charged for extra cheese n' onions for the chili.
