On an in-n-out scale, this is easily one of the best locations in the Bay! If you are in the in-n-out fries aren't great crowd (I usually feel this way) this location does it right. We've been to this location twice now, and each time we've ordered fries light well, they've been absolutely perfect. Perfectly crisp, great bite, the way fries should be. Whoever is handling the fryer here, they are working their magic! I usually get animal style fries, but honestly I think they are overrated now. Get them light well, and grab some lemons and pepper and make your own lemon pepper fries. As for the burgers, it's just as good as other locations. My order has changed over the years but I can't go wrong with a 3x2, animal style, whole raw onion, chopped chiles, no lettuce, and no tomato. I personally think it's the best way to order a burger from in-n-out. On this latest trip, I ordered two burgers, one my way, and the other regular with raw onions, both were great, but the whole raw onion is a game changer. The drive thru here is a bit confusing though. If you go at the main entrance, you have to flip around awkwardly in a different parking lot, so it's better to enter closer to the freeway entrance if drive thru is what you are doing. We prefer to go inside because the service has been faster and we just get our order with a box and lid so we can still enjoy in the car. If you are driving through Tracy and craving In-n-Out this one definitely satisfies the cravings! read more

I ate at the Tracy location for the first time yesterday while in town. In-N-Out is a favorite of mine, but the burger I was served was the worst hamburger I have ever had at any of their locations. Overcooked, dry and barely a 1/4" thick. The tomato and onion were thicker than the meat! The piece of lettuce on the burger was a 1.5" square. The person I was with was served a much better looking piece of meat and had lettuce that covered the bun. I don't understand the difference in burgers. Shouldn't they all look pretty much the same and shouldn't charred, overcooked burgers be pulled from serving? read more

First time visiting this location when visiting family. This location has the best customer service! I was walking to the door and a female employee opened it for me with a warm welcome, very genuine. Ordered my foot and the cashier was friendly and efficient. I went to get my drinks at the soda station and was waiting for my order to be called. I had just thought to myself that I needed a drink carrier. I figured I would just ask for one when I got my food. The same female employee that welcomed me walked by and said it looked like I needed a drink carried and went to get one. First, if you don't check you order from the drive-thru before you leave the parking lot, that one is on you. Now, the main problem was the server at the window gave me an incomplete burger. I had heard about the "Flying Dutchman Burger" which only comes with two whole slices of onions as the buns, cheese and two patties slabbed in the middle. You can request to add all the condiments like tomatoes, lettuce and pickles just like the protein burger if you choose to. which I did. What did I get?? Aug 9 2024- Always friendly welcoming employees. Was very busy, went at about 3:20 pm on a Friday. All the students were there after school. Employees got the ordering line down pretty fast but had to wait longer than usual for our order. We were #67, and they were calling out #31 when we went to get our drinks. It took about 30 min this time to get our food. Since it was crowded, it was very noisy inside, so it was a bit chaotic. We went inside because the drive-thru line was going down past McD (about where you exit the McD drive thru exit. This location is very bad for parking and for the drive-thru. If you know me, I often stop by In N Out after a complete leg day the gym for a double-double protein style burger, but I usually just go through the drive thru. Today was no different except I went inside to sit in the dining area. So In N Out is pretty simple....they have burgers and fries.. and if you know their secret menu, well you can dazzle up things a bit. What made this experience better today was a young gentleman by the name of Payton. He's was awesome in every way he greeted customers, his politeness, in his efficiency and overall demeanor of loving what he was doing was very evident. So I ordered my double-double, got my lemonade and sat down in a corner seat. But when my order number came up, I got up to retrieve my burger at the counter, here was Payton bringing me my burger which was a first for me. He again was very polite, said I hope you enjoy your burger and thank me again. What is the hype of In-N-Out? I normally don't rate fast food establishments since a) I normally don't go to one b) try to eat healthy c) not appealing when it's a franchise due to the fact I like my food experiences one of a kind. Finally broke down due to others wanting to eat their these special burgers. Now I can say I finally have tried these west coast burger and I have no need to ever eat it again. I'll try to be nice with this review since the staff were great. Pro: Staff was extremely helpful, attentive, and hardworking. They must of had at least 12 or more people working behind the counter to fill, take, make, and assist with each and every order. Con: I waited for my order inside after seeing the drive-thru was insane. You'd assume that the food must be decent enough to eat and wait in line for especially since McDonalds was right next door. It probably took them 10 to 15min to complete my order. Not complaining on the wait since it was obvious they were extremely busy and staff weren't standing around doing nothing. I had ordered 4 double double burgers with fries and drinks for my people and an animal style burger with protein( basically everything that they offer for a burger: patty, tomato, onions lettuce, sauce, mustard, and pickles; but in a lettuce wrap instead of a bun). You'd think what I ordered would have been must especially it was on a lettuce wrap which wouldn't remove the moisture. I was wrong with my burger being dry and unappealing in taste. I did try 2 or 3 fries of what my people ordered. Luckily before coming I read a few critics saying you should expect soggy fries with not enough salt. This was mine and my family first time going to this location! I tried calling 2 times last night and no one answered. FOOD Poisoning,... We order our food and once we got it the kids who were working was rude. They gave us our food and my husband and I started eating it and didn't think much until the last bite we both took then our stomach started hurting really bad. We had to pull over at a different restaurant because we didn't feel so good. We then got home and my husband started throwing up and going to the bathroom he didn't even sleep last night. Then around 4am I started to feel the same thing I started throwing up and going to the bathroom. I still am until now and also is he. Then I started feeling weird and really hot and took my temperature and yep sure enough I have a fever. It was then we realized we gotten FOOD POISONING!!! We can't keep anything down.
