Andy was the most disrespectful nail tech I've ever had in my life. Yanked my fingers around. Was invasive and rude in his conversation. I asked him to finish the matte coat on the top of my nails because there were still some shiny and he sat there saying he knows what he's doing and yanked my thumb down. Mr. "I know what I'm doing" ended up spraying alcohol on top of matte, which is a step one you don't do and my nails look absolutely horrible. I'll be going to the competition across the street. I tip around 30 to 40% usually and this was such a bad experience that I walked out this being the one time I tipped absolutely zero dollars. read more

It took me a min to get in a groove with this place but thank God for Tony and Liz! I only get mani's & French pedi's with regular polish and at the beginning of my visits - they didn't have specialists that would do regular polish. After a few attempts, I landed with Tony who gives me exactly what I ask for every time! Always a pleasant attitude and experience. Liz is amazing on the brows. Threading lasts a little longer and looks cleaner aesthetically imo and I never had to give direction or ask her to keep my brows thick or keep the arch. I did have to explain this was my first time coming to this place and if they could walk me through the process. My tech seemed a little new but did a good job at making me feel comfortable. He took his time and I did not feel rushed through the pedicure. No complaints about the service just the welcoming could have been a little better. Customer service 9/10 When I first walked in the environment was a little under whelming in comparison to other places I have been. The pedicure chairs are not the most comfortable and initially asked if my chair was broken. It's better once they are turned on and it's massaging but it's not comfortable on the back to just sit in. I think they could do a round of chair upgrades and spruce up the pedicure area a bit. They did try adding a few sprinkles of fall decor which is cute. Overall ambiance 6/10 Organic pedicure with normal polish $55...extra $5 to remove gel polish. I don't write reviews unless a service is exceptional. In this case exceptionally bad. My mani pedi turned out ok, but I had a very unpleasant experience at Toi. First of all the place was very dirty. The floors, the equipment were grimy and covered with debris. The pedicure chairs were stained and so worn that the foam covering the massagers was thin and uncomfortable. Even the walls were dirty. The technician clearly didn't like her job, and made little attempt to communicate or be civil. I don't expect or desire conversation and I understand there are sometimes language barriers, and simple gestures or instructions would have been fine. Instead she would grunt and shove or toss my hand towards where she wanted me to place it. Her skill was fine however sanitary practices were not used. For example she massaged lotion into my hands using the same dirty dusty gloves she wore while filing. I was skeeved out by the entire experience and can only say STAY AWAY. I made an appointment for a basic pedicure and basic it was (35.00). This was pricier than my pedicure in SoCal!! The gal who did my pedicure was efficient. She made no conversation with me whatsoever. That is fine. They put the smallest amount of menthol or something in the soaking water. I had to ask for her to get my ingrown toenail. I was on vacation and wanted a pedicure before I left for my next location so for that, it was fine. Maybe there are better techs than the person I had. Also, no free parking in front. You can park in the old Publix lot for free and walk over. read more

AWESOME!!! No idea what level pedi I got, lower than the wife, total wad $90. Beatnz was my technician(?). What ever they call pedicure people she was awesome, really top shelf. The lower leg massage included the knee front and back (I call it the knee pit) and it was heavenly. I had walked over 8 miles by the time I met Beatnz and my dogs were barking. Horrible manicure. The polish must've been bad or old bc it was hard for him to open the bottle and when it went on my nails I saw after the 2nd coat it was very rough and looked messy. I waited thinking the 2 coats of top coat would give it a smoother look but it did not esp since he only did 1 coat of top coat not 2. For the guy to see how it was coming out and not say anything is unprofessional and he is in the wrong business! I gave a $15 tip to the girl at Tipsy Spa in Dania Pointe 2 wks ago, but there was no way this guy was getting such a generous tip from me. Stopped in for a pedicure on a Sunday. The girl that did my pedicure had SUCH a disgusting attitude that I was literally speechless. Cut my skin. Rolled her eyes when i jumped and bled. Refused to bring me colors to choose from. Destroyed my nails. Tried to up charge me for simple shit like scrub and cutting nails (part of a pedicure lol) She then told me that colors I wanted were only available in gel which I confirmed was a lie (obviously to up charge) horrible service. Her technicians also offer massage, waxing, permanent makeup, as well as a variety of pedicures including deluxe or organic pedi. I personally love the dip powder nails, and they offer a huge assortment of color choices to boot! In all my years, I have never had a bad experience and am always beyond pleased with the end result! Parking is a breeze as the spa is located in Young Circle on the ground level of the Circ building. Publix is located next door and offers a parking garage with free parking for clients on the 3rd floor. This first time I came here was in early October 2021 and got a manicure and pedicure basic. Loved the location as it is in walking distance from my home. Not that I walked here but can also get here quickly for a nail emergency! Unfortunately with Downtown Hollywood having a building boom there is little to no parking out front. So your other option is the parking garage in the same building. That is where I end up for both visits. The first visit being October and out of season got an appointment same day. Next time that I wanted to come here I walked in but couldn't get in that was December midweek midday. So hubby got me a gift card for the holidays and I called to get an appointment nothing until Wednesday evening fit my schedule. I like the nail polish assortment that they carry. OPI and Essie brands in the most current colors. Not like some places where their polishes are old, ugly and lumpy paint. Luckily both visits I had Sonia do my nails. She does a great job. Also I liked they ask what you want done first. Many places they want you to follow best for them not the customer. So I check out and was surprised hubby gifted me $150. that will be good for at least two more visits as a basic manicure and pedicure is $47. I prefer to tip in cash for a job well done. read more

Update: I've now been here four times and I am very satisfied with my experience. My second time, I decided to try dip and tips for the first time. I was assigned to Maria and she was so sweet and patient while I asked her a million and one questions about the dip process, and how to get used to wearing tips. I made a follow up appointment with her three weeks later, and unfortunately she had to leave due to a health emergency and I was reassigned to another technician. The other technician did a fantastic job on my nails too. I particularly loved the way she shaped my nails. I get them almond shape. I have now gone back to May three times, and my experience is great each time. She understood that my ultimate goal was to get the tips removed when my nails were long enough so she made sure to take care of them appropriately I also love how the coffee shop next door stops by and takes order for you. I went here in desperate times right during the beginning of the pandemic when I couldn't get to my regular nail tech. I decided to try out Toi Spa since it was convenient and in the area. Never again! The service I received wasn't bad but the quality was awful. I got a full set and not sure if my nail tech I had was new but she didn't know what she was doing. My nail tech name was Liz and she took forever and had my index finger nail in a mess. Actually, the whole set was horrible and broke off within days. The acrylic on my nails was so thick that I was embarrassed to show my nails. I could've made a big complaint but I didn't. Instead I just know for next time to not return here. Warning others who may consider this place. Not sure how the other nail techs are but I landed in the wrong person chair. Once I finally arrived to my original nail tech he couldn't believe on how bad of a job I had on my nails. It was so terrible I had to remove all of the nails. I basically wasted money.
