I've visited Toka Bocca a few times, and the food is pretty good. On Thursdays, they have Vietnamese Pho that I've been wanting to try, but I haven't had the chance to yet. From their pics on IG, it looks authentic and delicious. They also have brunch on Sundays. The service has always been on point whenever I've dined there, and it's usually busy. I would make reservations for dinner on Friday and Sats. The decor is different and unique. The restaurant is an excellent addition to the Herkimer area because it serves a more diverse menu.

New location, same delicious food! I have been enjoying Toka Bocca for years. The new space in Little falls if very inviting. The food and service were amazing during their soft opening. I would expect nothing less as they transition to regular business hours. New menu items will be appearing at this location making me want to go back again and again. Freshest ingredients and the most delicious meal!

What a fun, funky, and fabulous experience. Sat at the bar and had a lovely conversation with everyone who came behind the bar, including the owner(s) and all the staff. We ordered a couple beers and a starter of brussel sprouts and calamari. We figured why not sample and have lunch for the following day too and got the shepherds pie and toasted caprese salad with shrimp. The food was stellar! Brussel sprouts - I love having something really green on any menu and these were very nicely cooked, not overcooked! The balsamic was there and not overpowering. I ate the rest after we got home it was so good. Caprese salad - another example of green-ish food. The tomatoes, while 'toasted' still had great structure and flavor. The basil was sweet, and the fire grilled shrimp really added an unexpected leveling up to the dish. The Shepard's pie - my best friend said "omg this is life" the pho gravy was so good we got some to go! Beautiful presentation and amazing flavor. Mixing it up with the flavor of pho is brilliant. Calamari - the sauce was delicious and the calamari not over cooked. Very happy camper. We also ate the rest of this after getting home. We will be back. Nice to have something where food and thought toward flavor and fun all mix. There is a little side shop as you enter that offers anything you might desire in the way of the newly legalized sales of THC and also CBD. But, the restaurant does not smell of anything..... and other than fun art and silly names of the food it is like any brilliant collaboration of great cooking and amazing staff.

I had excellent PH0 and an ahi tuna feature. Both were good and fresh and plated nicely.

Had their special. Tacos De Birria with rice and beans were very good…read more Pollo con Crema was also very good, portion large. Chicken Empanda so,so wouldn't get again. Service was OK server tried her best. Margarita was just ok, nothing special. Restaurant is ok inside, nothing fancy but appears to be clean with quite a few tables. Would return but not order empanda. You get chips and salsa.

Third, make sure that you fix the order. Finally, make it up to the patron for having to make a second trip to the restaurant. (This is for pick up orders, specifically). My pick up order was supposed to be ready at 6:45, but I sat there until 7:00 waiting. Then when I got home, I found that we were missing two entrees. The phone number on the website went straight to a busy signal, so leaving my family to eat, I drove back and informed the restaurant of the issue. They handed me one of the entrees in about 10 minutes, but after waiting a while longer, I found the server to ask about the other one, and had to argue with him and the cook that what I ordered and paid for wasn't in the bag. Finally they agreed to fix it and handed me what they insisted were two beef chalupas. Guess what- the picture above is what they handed me. It's soggy corn tortillas with beans, sour cream, lettuce and tomato. Definitely not worth the $15 they charged. Most of the food that we got was tasty. Not amazing, but not terrible. But not worth the $120 for dinner, either. If they had apologized, gotten the food right the second time, and done anything at all to make it worth my while to make a second trip for food I'd already paid for i would have much better things to say. As it is, I'm just disappointed. Go here or not, I guess. But maybe double check your order before you walk out.

Hard to find, on winding back roads.... but well worth the effort !!! Everything about this…read morerestaurant is 5+ stars. Service was friendly, prompt, attentive. Started with the table-made guacamole - excellent. Chose three mains, and all were exceptional. I can't believe one of the reviewers here found everything lacking in flavor and authenticity. Mains includes Enchiladas (beef, chicken, veggie - great accompaniments), Mole' Chicken (1/2-chicken slathered with delicious mole') and the Beef Molcajete - beef strips, chorizo, queso fresco, cactus, & scallions in salsa, served in an authentic stone mortar. The molcajete is a true dining experience. Overall - can't wait to go back in the Spring.

The menus are propped up for contactless ordering and they also have a QR scan so you can see the menu using your phone. Everyone is wearing PPE and gloves. The food is served in disposable wear so you know is sanitary! There is good social distances and it's all outdoor seating with tarps. So no need to worry about getting wet under a cheap patio umbrella! And plenty parking. The food: is authentic and yummy delicious! I ordered the tamales, empanadas, and enchiladas de mole. The food is like eating at my Mexican grandma's table. I have not experienced this specially so remote from the big city. What a gem hidden in this tiny farm. For dessert I had the churros which where covered with sprinkled sugar and cinnamon and stuffed with amazing yummy caramel goodness. Served with ice cream and raspberry sauce. Absolutely incredible!! I drove 8 hrs to be here and they did not disappoint. This place is totally under rated. The problem is not many people who come here know about yelp. Although it seems to be really popular with the locals, they are typically older farm folks and families. I wish they got more reviews. The owners are a cute couple who work the restaurant and their kids work here too. Absolutely amazing 10 out of 10!!!
