This cute little place is suchhh a gem in the middle of the airpark!! The owners/staff are so kind and generous. You can tell they put a lot of love into the food and really appreciate their customers. What a great find! Had lunch and everything was delicious. Had a hard time deciding what to choose from the menu, but I went with gyro pita sandwich meal and my husband decided on chicken shawarma sandwich pita meal and we both got fries. We sat at a table to await our order, and were brought samples of the chicken gyro and beef shawarma meat, which were delicious. When our food arrived they were very generous portions, nice & hot and the fries were cooked to perfection. Lastly, we were brought 2 pieces of baklava to enjoy. Really nice homely feeling inside the cafe. Food was excellent. Learned that they also provide truffle based products. The owner's eldest son took the onus of cooking and entertaining me while I devoured the Qebapa. Learned that the name means Earth/Land in Albanian. Overall an awesome experince for a random try in this cafe. Their sausages (very beefy and greasy) paired well with the bread which was grilled in the same oil that the sausage was cooked in. Nestled in a business park, near Scottsdale Quarter, this Albanian Cafe is a gem! The food is so unique and delicious but the owner, Millot and his son Dylan are wonderfully friendly, helpful and professional. For the food, the menu is limited but what we had was great. The grilled gruyere cheese was smothered with cremini shrooms, arugula and a very tasty truffle carpaccio. We then shared feta/cottage cheese burek (which was similar to a cheese blintze but in a delicious flaky dough and spinach/green onion burek (spanekopedia like). Both with a side of homemade yogurt. So so good. My friend needed the entire Albanian experience so we shared coconut ball bombing and honey medallion cookie. Simple great and high in calories! Will definitely be going back for bfast and the qebapa qofte which is grilled ground beef sausage in the most delicious looking bread! Until next time... read more

When I say y'all be SLEEPIN on this restaurant. I have been here maybe 5 times now and meant to take photos to post with my review but I never get to because Im busy INHALING the food. My first time here my car died in their parking lot and a couple of really nice uncles helped me start it again lol. Ive had the meatball sandwich, egg bacon breakfast bagel DELICIOUS. Then I tried the chicken gyro one of the best Ive had! Juicy and made with fresh pita bread, and they serve it with the best fries skinny and crispy and fried in fresh oil not like other places that reuse old oil! And homemade Tzaziki sauce 100/10! Then today I tried their Fettuccine Alfredo. It's SUPERB!! Why are you spending money at Olive Garden or Oreganos eating less than mediocre pasta made by a 17 year old when you can be enjoying what REAL food should taste like at this gem?? I have always preferred restaurants that serve comforting homey meals made with love over fancy expensive restaurants that serve you 50 cal on a plate and you have no idea what you're eating. What a happy surprise to find this unique place tucked up in a business park. Not knowing much about Albanian food, I had a wonderful chat with staff who couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. The food was all delicious (especially some of the dishes mentioned by other reviewers), and DO NOT pass up the Truffle Grilled Cheese. This is a great Albanian restaurant with quality ingredients, excellent service, and the best Spinach and Onion Borek and Qebapa (grilled homemade beef sausages) that's served on homemade pitalka bread. I stopped by this newly opened Cafe & Grill tucked inside the Scottsdale Airpark area. What a pleasant surprise! Their website says they cook with love. They sure do! I ordered the Qebapa Pitalka their special bread was as tender as my mother's heart. The homemade sausages were a delightful surprise as I was not familiar with the dish. Toka is a little bit hard to find (at least it was for me), but well worth the search. Probably because it's tucked away in a business park, the first half of the menu seems to cater to folks who work in the neighborhood. I don't doubt it's all really tasty, but the best reason to come here is for the homemade Balkan/Albanian food. We tried the burek -- flaky, phyllo-like pastry stuffed with ground beef and served with house-made yogurt. It was terrific. So was the qebapa (same thing as cevapi, juicy grilled beef sausages), tucked inside house-made pitalka, which is a big fluffy roll for sandwiches. This one came with a sour-cream onion dip and cabbage salad (both of which we put on the sandwich). So good! The baklava is great too. The people who own it are really sweet. read more
