    Tuna melt, Cole slaw
    Holly M.

We stopped in for a late lunch around 2:30pm on a weekday. The restaurant and bar were crowded. The host was friendly and he sat us right away. We were able to snag a table a The patio. Perfect for the outdoor weather and people watching. Unfortunately we were sat right next to the server stand but they didn't use it much so it was not too disruptive. Our server, Jameca was friendly and attentive. She brought our water and iced teas right away. I ordered the FRENCH DIP - Brie, Arugula, Caramelized Onion, Horseradish Mayonnaise. $22. This was quite tasty. I really liked the combination of the arugula and Brie on the sandwich. I upgraded to the truffle fries. Sadly the fries were soggy and tasteless which was a disappointment. My husband ordered the CALIFORNIA TUNA MELT - Toasted Ciabatta, Swiss Cheese, Green Apple, Vine Ripe Tomato, Arugula Salad. $18.50. He said he really enjoyed it and would order it again. Unfortunately the Cole slaw was terrible. No flavor whatsoever, just appeared to be shredded cabbage. Overall we had a good experience. They need to work on their side dishes but the mains were tasty.

It's been several years since we have dined here since we moved. Dining on the patio regardless of how hot the days in Phoenix can be are always a sense of vacation dining on their patio. The food is excellent. The atmosphere and service (by Megan) was excellent! I started with one of their zero alcohol refreshing drinks with yummy sour black cherry, pomegranate, lime and ginger beer. Lovely!!! We shared their green salad which was full of fresh and varied flavors with their green goddess dressing. Moved onto sea bass that was perfectly cooked in top of creamy and flavorful potatoes and charred broccoli. Added Mac and cheese Finished with their donut hole and a latte Wow

This used to be Etta and it wasn't that good, so I was hesitant to try this place because the new management didn't change much but the menu was different. Glad we came. It was really good. Service was top notch. Everything we ordered from appetizers to entrées to desserts to cocktails to wine. Everything was amazing. Love the ambience, love, aesthetics, very fresh, a lot of trees, and plants inside throughout and love the patio seating.

I have enjoyed many of the Fox restaurants in the past, and The Greene House is no exception. While I stopped by recently for my first visit, my wife has had work meetings and lunches there. The service at the restaurant was good, and the food was very tasty. The bar was a typical bar, and the overall atmosphere was nice. We certainly enjoyed it enough to go back in the future. We made a reservation for dinner where we used Open Table in advance and arrived a bit early. We stopped by the bar where the bartenders were hard working though didn't seem to smile or converse with us at all. We each tried a drink as we rarely make it to a bar. We then were seated a few minutes early and had a very pleasant server. We ordered a delicious brie appetizer with a few different toppings, both ordered an entree, and shared a dessert. I was surprised that my Roasted Half Chicken was only two pieces of a chicken breast, but it was still filling and delicious. The food also had a healthy feel to it, so we felt good about going there (even though in reality, the menu didn't look overly healthy). You can learn more about The Greene House at https://www.thegreenehouseaz.com. It's a California-inspire restaurant right in the heart of Kierland Commons. You can sign up for Ebites and receive special offers and restaurant updates. You can reserve a part of the restaurant for large events, order online, make a reservation, and follow them on social media. They have happy hour from 3-6 PM each weekday with food and drink specials. The restaurant itself shares a bathroom with other restaurants, but otherwise has everything in one general area. If you're in North Scottsdale, this is a great restaurant to try whether you're having a work meal, catching up with a friend, or having a date night. I look forward to returning again soon!

What a great spot in the commons to grab a drink and a meal! Got seated on the patio and we were able to get HH deals vs sitting in the bar. Great selection of food and cocktails are on point! Mussels were a great starter! Fish and chips perfectly fried. I asked of they had cocktail sauce and they ended up making it for me! Top notch! The pot pie, flaky and hearty!

Came here again after a couple years. Turns out I got the same items: chicken pot pie and the calamari. Again, terrific. Consistently great. Also had the spring fling zero proof cocktail. And best of all, our server snuck us a taste of the home made hummus: fantastic. A great place to eat, highly recommend.

    Crispy Calamari with Tempura Vegetables

Excellent food. Had the calamari vegetable tempura and it was delicious! Nice and crispy, lightly battered and fried perfectly. Tried the smoked salmon hash brown and it was sooo good!!! The chicken potstickers tasted like sausage, spiced just right. Service was good except they were too busy and it took a while for the food to come out. Our server, John, was very pleasant and very helpful. We sat outside and it was a perfect day to enjoy the Arizona spring weather. I'm almost a regular here... love this place!

    Strawberry kale salad with chicken

Stopped in for lunch while doing some shopping. It was packed inside and outside and the wait for food at the table was really long. It was really loud inside so difficult to chat with one another. The strawberry kale salad was good, the grilled chicken completed it well.

This place has it ALL! Great location in Kierland Commons! I ate outside in 100 degree weather and they had misters on to cool me off. I had lunch comfortably- no sweat! I had the steak salad and it was delicious with every bite. Also had the dirty almond chai- amazing! Food came out so fast-great service! Homemade vinaigrette! I will be back!

Mediterranean Market Bowl Vegan and delicious!!

I had the Mediterranean Market Bowl and it was incredible! Such amazing variety on the plate and it was all cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I can't wait to go back and eat it again. Beautiful patio seating and fast friendly service too. Thank you for the delicious vegan and vegetarian options!

The service was good. It was busy but the kept up with the orders pretty well. The area is nice.

Consistently good with great vibes. Inside and outside seating with a great patio. Updated menu but they still have the popular selections that I love: spinach pappardelle with chicken as well as roasted half chicken. And their white sangria is the absolute best!!!!! Can't forget the amazing foccaccia house bread. Friendliest wait staff always, but Katie is the absolute best!!!!

We decided to try the Greene House for my birthday dinner since my parents were in town We had reservations for 5:30 and were seated immediately. The bread and butter came first and was complimentary - the bread was delicious. We started with the calamari - it was unique, more of a tempura style. The breading was thin and crispy and the vegetables paired well. My dad ordered the skirt steak (Asian style marinade) - very flavorful and tender. I ordered the braised short ribs. The short ribs were pretty tasty but there was a portion of it that wasn't as fork tender as I'm used to. The potato purée was delicious and flavored with truffle. For my birthday dessert, I ordered the chocolate mocha bar and to be honest, this was my favorite part of the whole meal. It was very rich and chocolatey, so I was so happy to share but the vanilla gelato balanced out the rich chocolate and praline. The inside of the restaurant gets pretty loud later on in the evening but the food is definitely worth a try!

We had 6:30 reservations and were seated promptly, but because the restaurant itself is more on the smaller side, we were between two different tables, and it was extremely hard to hear each other with how close the tables were. If you are someone who doesn't mind this atmosphere, it's a great spot, but it is very challenging to hear when you're sitting across the table from someone and you've got other couples/ groups to the right and left of you. The wait staff were awesome and the service was great; we were not overly impressed with the food (no substitutions for certain items based on allergies so be aware). We had the bacon wrapped dates (good), Cesar salad (fresh but had a very tangy lemon flavor) and the beef bolognese ( we really wanted to like this, and the sauce that itself was good, but as the noodles were very al dente and more of a protein wheat based pasta flavor). We are glad we tried it (thanks Mrazsports!) but would not make it a rotational restaurant.

Here's the rub - waiters constantly coming by to take away our half eaten appetizers, our half eaten salads, dinners and desserts. We pay. 30% tip. We're industry people. No kidding - at near 7:00, the young manager comes over (I'll call him Skippy) and tells us there is a (2) hour limit and urges us out of our booth. Again, we had a reservation at 5:00. It's equally perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner with friends. Two of us ordered the "Beef Bolognese," and we were both speechless after the first bite. I've had Bolognese at some of the best Italian restaurants, yet this version is in a league of its own. I honestly don't know what Chef Dom Ruggiero does differently, but somehow the sauce has an incredibly special balanced flavor that's impossible to describe until you taste it. It's absolutely sublime. I can honestly say I'll order it every time I come back and recommend it to everyone I know. Our friend ordered the "Crispy Chicken Sandwich" and loved it. The chicken was perfectly breaded, wonderfully crispy on the outside, and incredibly juicy and tender inside. She said it was so good and so were the seasoned fries. My husband chose the "Ibérico Pork Skirt Steak," and every component of the dish worked together brilliantly. The pork was unbelievably tender, and it was served with Japanese sweet potatoes, apples, cashews, sesame seeds, cabbage, and miso. Every ingredient complemented the others beautifully and rested on an outstanding creamy base. It was one of those dishes where each bite makes you tell everyone at the table that they have to taste it. The service was just as impressive as the food--friendly, attentive, and welcoming (from the hostess to the server). Hush Public House has mastered that rare combination of exceptional food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that's warm and comfortable either at the bar or table. If you haven't been yet, go!
