Everything we ordered were from the daily specials - Salmon Avocado Misiti's Sauce (spectacular!), Toro Taku Rice (AMAZING!), and Fluke Uzuzukuri Poazu (delicious!) were my favorites but everything we ordered was top quality! We arrived as soon as they opened at 5pm on a Sunday so we got there before the rush and yes there is typically a rush from what I was told. The owner spent a lot of time talking with us as she knows my cousin who has become a regular and she was absolutely charming. I'm looking forward to going back here and becoming a regular myself.

A few minutes later a different waitress came over and told us we had to get up because the table was reserved and "she didn't know." No real apology. No manager. Just "you need to move." At that point we just left. Mistakes happen. But asking customers to get up after they're already seated because of your poor internal communication is bad service. Doing it with zero ownership or effort to make it right makes it worse. The food here is fine. It's not so incredible that it makes up for being treated like an inconvenience. Now that they're getting busier, it feels like customer service has slipped even more from their previously just acceptable level. Plenty of other sushi spots around that don't make you get up mid-meal. We won't be back.

The flavor of the food I did have was extremely bland, dry and I have had better from many strip mall take out locations. I can continue to write more but if you've read this far, I'm sure you're getting my point. They also have the nerve to add a 12% SERVICE CHARGE to your bill. The service is nothing short of people walking around with an empty look on their faces. Avoid this place and go elsewhere or order take out instead.
