My wife and I went here Friday night for the first time. Bad weather, so we decided to order something to take home. We ordered two spring rolls, an order of Shrimp and Rice and a Shrimp,Steak and rice entree. The spring rolls were rather small, but excellent. Nice and crisp with a great taste - we both said we'd order them again. Both of us loved the entrees. The shrimp was done perfectly...tender and not over cooked. The zucchini and onions in the dish were also great. She said the next time she ordered she'd ask for extra veggies, as they were so good. I felt the same way. The steak was also very tender and great tasting. She generally doesn't order steak at Chinese restaurants...sticks to shrimp or chicken, but she tasted the steak in my dish and said she'd order the shrimp and steak next time. Nice atmosphere. Small place and I thought it may be a carry-out type only place, but they have nice booths and atmosphere. We'll definitely be going back. read more

Probably the worst hibachi I have ever tasted. Had teriyaki chicken and hibachi steak with rice. Food came out quick, that was the hi-lite of the meal. Vegetables were overcooked. Steak tasted funky, teriyaki chicken was okay, rice tasted like it was cooked in day old grease. Threw away half of the entree. I guess people just smoother this stuff with white sause. Because it had been some time since we had hibachi, and we didn't feel like driving down to our only hibachi spot, we decided to try Tokyo Grill. It had been on the potential list for some time. Went in with lowered expectations, and while it wasn't as good as our other spot, it was passable. My Vegetable Hibachi was wanting. The rich flavors weren't as present as I'd prefer, and there was a severe lack of mushrooms. I also got it with steamed rice (trying to cut down on fried stuff). The sweetie for the chicken and shrimp with the fried-ish rice. She said it was almost as good as our other spot's own, but at the same time she didn't want to finish or save it. She enjoyed the rice, which I tried, and it was good. The kids working the counter were good - didn't rush us and answered the one question we had without any issues. I wish they automatically gave utinsils, but they did give soy sauce quite willingly. They only give one white sauce per order though. One positive is that it's more comfortable to eat in here than our other place, even though we didn't stay. The booths and tables are a decent size. Food is always great but whoever the two lady's are working up front do NOT need to be there.TERRIBLE customer service. I didn't get greeted when I walked up to counter (not even a hey what can I get for you) and got stared at like I wasn't supposed to be there. She never asked what I wanted had to order on my own command while she was on the phone with someone. Got my food and still had the nerve to say thank you...no response back. I've been in the service industry and that's going to affect business unless it was just my experience. Management needs to do better on the hiring aspect. read more

The prices for food here is really good in my opinion. The chicken however was drowned in teriyaki sauce but still was real dry when biting into it. Rice was really good and seasoned well. This was my first visit to this Tokyo Grill location. The staff was very friendly and, despite this being a to-go order, it was ready very fast. A couple of the drinks were out (very typical during this time) but there were still plenty of options. I ordered the chicken, shrimp and steak hibachi. The steak and shrimp didn't have much flavor, but the chicken did. The white sauce is really good. This order was enough to feed two people, so it was a good value. Ordered through the app and arranged a pick up time for 8pm-8:15pm. Got a notification that my order was ready at 8 pm and when I arrived they didn't even start my order. I had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for my order. The cashier was not pleasant at all. I then asked about my sushi (California roll with added crab meat). I posted a picture so you can see the foolishness, it literally looks like sushi from Publix and she explained the extra crab meat was just a bigger size crab meat inside. I am furious. Chicken was really fatty and shrimp seem to always have some kind of remnant of wood pieces like from a chop stick, which I didn't use or have. I've tried to use this place a couple times and am just finally hanging up the towel on it. The miso always takes like just water and the food quality is so poor. I have made many attempts to have a good experience at this location and there is always something wrong. My order is never what I call in. If I specifically order a side of shrimp and a separate side of broccoli, I should not have an order of broccoli and an order of shrimp with broccoli. Don't try to skimp me by using broccoli as a space filler. Last time I ordered shrimp and got chicken, so I guess this is progress. Only order the fried gyoza from here. I think the hard scrabble location is better. But both places need to work on the sauce that comes with it. I'm from Out Of Town & saw the Advertisement on TV for this place. First, it was Super Clean. The Service was Super Fast & Friendly and that was at 6 PM. I took pictures of the Teriyaki Chicken Combo. It had a Big Salad with Yummy Ginger Sauce. The main meal had a Good Amount Of Chicken, Vegetables and Rice. The food was really GOOD and warm. As someone who truly loves hibachi and teriyaki and has eaten it at several different restaurants, I knew I had to leave a review. This is terrible teriyaki. Chicken is boiled then drenched in a sauce that is mostly flavorless with a very slight hint of teriyaki. Chicken is super gummy bc it is very boiled. Rice tastes like whatever it was cooked in. The worst part of all is the "white sauce" or what others consider the yum yum sauce. It is awful here. Unless you like to eat runny mayo on your rice and meat. It tastes horrible. No flavor aside from watery mayo. And the veggies are barely cooked. I was starving at lunch and wanted something decently healthy but this was barely palatable. Just awful. We didn't have high expectations for this restaurant because we've been let down in our recent attempts to find good take out. However, the steak and shrimp hibachi plate was SO good. Lots of flavor, tender steak, shrimp wasn't overcooked and the rice is amazing. I could eat bowls and bowls of the fried rice alone.
