Wanted some sushi and Japanese food Saturday evening, we haven't ever been to a place that doesn't cook it in hibachi style. The restaurant was clean, very small and quiet. The gods was extremely good and the served warm. I relaxed liked the salad dressing it had a ginger flavor. We'll definitely be back.

everything was amazing start to finish!! i was a bit overdressed for the inside but from the pictures of food i had seen prior to coming, it made me assume lol. the prices are great for what you're getting, i'll definitely be back for more sushi!!

Small and not much for the money.

The food was good, but there wasn't much for the price. I figured I would have received more for $26.

My favorite sushi spot in Eastern Jackson Co. The service is fast, food is good! Their bowls are so tasty; the fried rice w/yum yum sauce drizzle is chef's kiss! I love the light, airy crunch of their tempura & tangy tempura sauce. We ordered 6 rolls and were presented with a sushi boat, which made my kids ecstatic! Honestly, it brought back nostalgic childhood memories for myself, because the sushi boat is iconic. Every roll is tasty, but there are definitely more cooked than raw rolls & I like more of the latter. My favorite roll is the Magic Roll, which is topped with seared salmon and has a jalapeno mayo sauce with the perfect amount of zing. They also have many rolls wrapped with soy paper, which is why my husband likes this spot.

Quaint sushi bar with intimate, peaceful atmosphere. I liked it, but it is one small room and not a lot of privacy. Decent prices. Good selection of sushi. Good plating/presentation. My friend and I enjoyed the Boston and Philadelphia rolls. Note: they only provide chopsticks and no silverware, so if you're not great with chopsticks you might have some troubles.

A very consistent sushi staple of Lee's Summit! Sushi is always delicious, service is friendly and prompt. Would highly recommend the green dragon roll. The hibachi is also very good if sushi is not your cup of tea!

As we entered the entryway, we were WARMLY welcomed with a hearty "HI!!" We chose the Hibachi side of the dining room. Promptly seated and serving plate, silver and napkins in place. Thanks to experienced Alex - the chef's assistant. Alex was super personable, friendly and FUNNY! We enjoyed him immensely. Our chef - O.G. - arrived with his side cart loaded with sauces, a huge tray of beautifully prepared veggies, generous portions of rice and smallish proteins which were over priced. My five small scallops were cooked to perfection. Exceedingly tender with the proper bit of char. Delicious! But I sure could have enjoyed a couple more of those morsels. We were a party of four. Two opted for strictly chicken and the last of our group did a chix/shrimp combo. The chicken, sadly, was overcooked. O.G. was entertaining and an interesting conversationalist.

I've never seen that level of interaction before, and it definitely made the meal more enjoyable. The food was good and cooked well, but the portions were smaller than what you typically get at most hibachi places, so don't expect to have leftovers. The restaurant itself is a bit outdated, but it was clean, which I appreciated. Overall, a fun experience with good food--just go in knowing the portions are on the smaller side.

I ordered a house large poke bowl, and when I got home, I realized it had mango, kimchi, and several other ingredients that are not included in the bowl's listed ingredients. I drove back with the bowl and my receipt, but the employee at the counter insisted those were the correct ingredients. I had to pull up the restaurant's website on my phone and show him the ingredient list before he checked the recipe in the back and had the bowl remade. While the correct bowl was eventually made, the interaction was uncomfortable and dismissive. There was very little communication, and the employee simply handed me the replacement, said "sorry," and walked away. I also tried calling afterward to speak with a manager. I was told the manager would be there at 1:00pm, but when I called again later, they still were not available. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have had an incorrect order or missing items, so I have gotten into the habit of checking our food before leaving. I am not looking for a refund or anything complimentary. I simply wanted to share this feedback because we genuinely enjoy the food and would love to feel more confident ordering takeout again. A little more consistency and communication when mistakes happen would go a long way.

But step inside the door, and you've entered an Asian teahouse that's welcoming and cheery. The walls are painted a bright mint green, with paintings of herbs and an entire wall of customers' photos celebrating their birthdays. The place is open and airy and the tables are spaced well so that one is dining in a communal place but can still carry on a conversation in some privacy. Shelly and Lin-Lin were our servers, and they were AMAZING! Shelly greeted us and was a most hospitable hostess; when we asked for a table nearer the windows, she was happy to oblige. Both Shelly and Lin-Lin guided us through the menu, answering our questions and giving us thoughtful recommendations for food and drink choices. Our meals were EXQUISITE! My friend had the Chrisnana roll and I had the lunch special of two rolls with onion soup. Both were plated beautifully; we took photos because they were utterly charming! The Chrisnana roll was delicious; the banana was surprising but melded with the savory sushi flavors. My California roll was a perfect blend of crab, avocado and cucumber wrapped in perfectly-cooked rice. And my Sweet Potato roll was mouth-wateringly delectable! There was a crisp topping on the roll which perfectly complemented the sweet smoothness of the potato filling. Both meals were reasonably priced and served quickly. When my friend and I lingered to talk, both Shelly and Lin-Lin checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, but we never felt rushed to leave. They were so friendly and genuinely happy to have us join them at the restaurant--it was such a warm and welcoming experience! We'll definitely be back, and we'll bring more friends!
