CONSISTENCY! These guys knock it out outta the friggin park time and again, at an effortless pace. It's always business as usual here, and each time - no matter the amount of people waiting - they hit it square on the knot! The key here is noodle bite, and moisture percentage; when judging noodle makin', that's all that matters, period. An important note: I've had my share of problems with noodles - so much so, I was once on a first-name basis with the district manager. I tried over and again to find a great noodles locally in Kansas City where I live. Unable to find such a find through great strife and circumstance, I found eventually my unicorn in Lee's Summit: the golden hills of Missouri! Through the scientific method, I found over 6 visits through many weeks and months and at different times, I always get a great bowl here. Trust me, I drive 50 miles for this! Try the pad thai, Japanese pan, or formidable Korean beef noodle - and the spaghetti and meatball if you're feeling pedestrian. Way to go, guys!

We haven't been to Noodles and Co for a LONG time but boy am I glad we came back! I love that they use real dishes but most importantly this Thai chicken soup is AMAZING and tastes exactly like Campbell's Go coconut curry chicken. I've been missing it for years and I've finally found a replacement! We all loved the teriyaki meatballs as a side but the Udon noodles really stood out, SO GOOD! Love that there are so many healthy options as well for those that are avoiding carbs.

    Buttered noodles meal

Ordered buttered noodles and received a mushy, applesauce like covered meal. It was slimy and tasted horrible! It's not the most frugal place to grab lunch, so when I eat here I usually am happy with the food- but not this time Totally bummed

Okay, Noodles and Company. You have spent a long time on my lunch rotation, partly because you have decent healthy options and a good mobile app that allows me to order online and pick up quickly. But today, you disappoint. This is my Thai curry soup side. The spoon is included for scale. I realize you don't want to overfill a to-go bowl, but a 2" high bowl that is filled to an inch (looks higher in the photo, but yes, it is filled to the 1" mark) is not a full serving. In fact, since the bowl is curved, it's not a half-serving. Do better.

This place is awful! Food was cold and meat was tough. Not worth $30 for 2 dishes! Stay home and boil your own noodles.

I took a pasta making class here a few years back and enjoyed it, but my wife really wanted to go back and dine there. She took advantage of the option to make a same day reservation for their patio. We ordered the following: focaccia, spicy vodka radiatori, chitarra alla gricia, and tiramisu. In descending order of what I enjoyed most - the tiramisu was my favorite part of the meal. It ended our lunch on a high note. This is my favorite style of tiramisu, and almost no one in KC does it like this. The spicy vodka radiatori tasted great and was well balanced with creamy cheese and spice. While it was enjoyable, I was realizing that an outdoor pasta lunch in the middle of summer isn't ideal. The whipped ricotta and honey spread served with the focaccia was the perfect spreadable pairing to the fresh, warm bread. Chitarra alla gricia is probably the closest to a Roman carbonara that I've had in KC. The pasta was thick and flavorful, and went well with the sauce. It was a weekday lunch so I paired the meal with a nonalcoholic Italian pilsner (since I'm big on beer; @halfwaywestbeer on IG). I will say I didn't feel entirely safe sitting on their patio. The planters between my seat and the road of speedy cars didn't assure me any safety. I enjoyed everything, but I don't plan to return to dine there. I would return for a pasta making class or to pickup some tiramisu to go. Don't stress if you're having a hard time getting a reservation. There's plenty of good pasta restaurants in KC of equal quality.

From the moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a neighborhood deli back in Northeast. The smell alone tells you you're in the right place. The sandwiches? Huge. No skimping, no shortcuts. The meats are sliced right, the bread actually has character (crispy where it should be, soft inside), and everything tastes fresh and intentional. I ordered an Italian steak, and let me tell you--this is the kind of food that makes you close your eyes on the first bite. Perfect balance of meats, cheese, oil, and seasoning. Nothing overpowering, nothing missing. Just right. The staff is warm and welcoming, like they actually care if you enjoy your food (which matters). It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable, not rushed, and definitely well-fed. Johnny C's isn't trying to be trendy or fancy--it's doing what matters: good, honest deli food done right. If you're craving something that feels authentic and satisfying, this place delivers. I'll be back. And if I'm coming back, trust me--that's saying something.

Being used to Kansas City staples like Garozzo's and Cascone's, we were excited to give it a try, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to the high rating hype. The Atmosphere & Service: The space was clean and the waitstaff was incredibly warm, nice, and welcoming throughout our meal. Drinks & Extras: They have a great wine selection! However, keep in mind they don't have a full physical bar, so non-wine options such as beer and spirits come from a can. Bread is also a separate purchase and doesn't include an olive oil dipping sauce nor did they bring out or have any fresh ground pepper or parmesan cheese which is a bit of a sin with our meals. Note: I did get a pepper shaker, but it poured heavy like a cheap bottle of wine... Lucky for me. I'm a pepper fan. My Entree: I tried their signature Tagliatelle pasta with meat sauce. While the flavor was definitely there and the pasta was cooked just past al dente (which I didn't mind), the sauce was quite runny on the plate. The Price: Very reasonable--it definitely won't blow a hole in your wallet! The Verdict: While the hospitality and prices are great, the food just missed that "chef's kiss" quality I was hoping for. It's a nice spot, but overall it felt a bit overhyped compared to top-tier Italian dining.

The vibe is fun, the décor is gorgeous, and the DJ/music really set the mood. We each had two cocktails and a sushi roll. My cocktails were delicious, although I was a little surprised that martinis priced at $26 and $15 were served in plastic cups rather than chilled glassware. It's possible this was because drinks aren't allowed in glass outside, but it was still unexpected at that price point. The food was just okay--not bad, but not something I'd specifically come back for. The evening took an awkward turn around 9:15 when our server, who was wonderful, asked if we wanted a third round of drinks. We declined because we were getting ready to head home. About five minutes later, the hostess politely informed us that another party had a 9:30 reservation for our table and that we needed to leave. Thankfully, we were already planning to leave, but it left me wondering what would have happened if we had accepted that third round. There was no mention of a time limit when the reservation was made, so being asked to leave felt a little abrupt. It's a beautiful spot with great drinks, music, and ambiance, but the way the evening ended left a sour taste. Unfortunately, because of that experience, I probably won't be back.
