Menifee roll, shrimp tempura roll, Dynamite Roll,Firecracker Roll

Great experience, Services is always great and the staff is always friendly! We enjoyed the lunch special Menifee sushi roll, shrimp tempura roll, and dynamite roll it was delicious!

Restaurant

Located in the 'Buffalo Wild Wings' shopping center on Haun and Newport Roads, by T-Mobile. We were looking for a fast-casual Japanese spot and this was a great choice. Plenty of parking available. They have an extensive menu with everything from sushi and ramen to bento boxes and yakisoba. They also have a catering menu. I had the 'Seaweed Salad' as a starter, and my main was the 'Chicken Yakisoba'. The fried noodles had a unique and delicious flavor with interesting toppings, different from what I've had before. The 'Bento Box' is also an ideal meal. Everything tasted fresh. The service was great, with friendly and welcoming staff creating a good atmosphere. The restaurant itself is clean and organized. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. It was a great dinner experience overall, and we look forward to trying more of their menu.

Chroma M.

Food was quite good. I'm picky with my ramen and the miso was quite tasty. Noodles were prepared properly and weren't overly thick or oily. Toppings were great too, the chashu was also not dry which a lot of places get wrong. Service was decent, small hiccups in the ordering of our drinks but it was fixed on our bill. We also got the baked salmon roll which came out way later after ordering the ramen but that's okay. Restaurant was clean, plus the peaceful music was nice.

Volcano Ramen

This is our second visit to this place. Service was swift, food order came quick as well, despite the place was packed at that time. Volcano Ramen had generous portion (I couldn't finish and had it to go) and has half boiled egg, and some long thin sliced pork for the protein. My husband got the chicken bento which has massive portion. The only thing that I kinda disappointed was the wait staff did not ask me what type of noodles for my ramen (as there are 3 type). Unfortunately I like thin noodles and in fact I got different type of noodles. Vibe was great, little space and that arranged efficiently.

3. Miso Ramen

Opted for kale noodles and gluten free soy sauce to get my ramen fix (non-celiac gluten intolerant). So far no issues Staff is polite and hustle to get you, your order. The virtual aquarium and cool music allows you to focus on the deliciousness of your meal and escape from the distractions and business of life. Sit back, relax and enjoy the delicious broth with family and friends.

They serve ramen, udon, appetizers, hot food, noodle, rice, sushi, and rolls. We came during lunch and got volcano ramen and black garlic ramen. You can pick your noodles but we didn't. As a default, the volcano came with Futomen noodles which are thicker and the garlic came with Hosomen which are thinner. My garlic wasn't as garlicky as I liked and I didn't like the thinner noodles. The volcano had good spice. Both came with 3 thick pork chashu. It's also part of the lunch menu and came with 2 spring rolls. We also got a plate of yellowtail jalapeño. On the thicker side and tasted fresh but not so fresh. Food came out quick and plenty of parking in this plaza. The lunch specials were fairly priced but there are ramen shops nearby that I rather go to and not come back to this place.

This restaurant never disappoints. Helpful and friendly servers. Prices are competitive and extremely reasonable. Very clean tables and attentive staff. Everything is always tastes fresh and tasty. Can't wait to come back.

Philadelphia & California Roll
Marie A.

They have a variety of options on their menu. Great lunch deals if you're looking for something light at a great price. While my favorites are the Philadelphia and California roll, all the rolls are great.

Amie A.

I came here two times on separate occasions, and they've forgotten one of my items on both times. The sushi itself is good. This is the 2 rolls for $14.99 w salad + miso soup, unfortunately they forgot my salad the last time they forgot my tuna roll. This portion honestly looks like it's one roll so just disappointed about that.

Potsticks , Wontons, Ramon
Mark N.

Tokyo House in Menifee totally hit the spot. I stopped in on a whim and ended up getting the ramen, potstickers, and wontons and honestly, everything was delicious. The ramen was rich and flavorful, with a really deep broth that didn't taste overly salty like some places. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the pork was super tender. You could tell they put care into the broth it wasn't just thrown together. The potstickers were crispy and golden on the outside, and the filling was juicy and really well-seasoned. Dipping them in the sauce they give you just made it even better. Wontons were great too light, soft wrappers and tasty filling, not bland at all. Whether you get them in soup or as a side, they're worth trying. Service was fast, friendly, and low-key. It's not a fancy spot, but it's clean, cozy, and exactly the kind of local place you want to keep coming back to. I'll definitely be back.

Fresh food. Great service. Perfect for a rainy day. Lots of foot traffic so good is being made fresh to order. Ambiance is awesome.

Salmon lover with no caviar lol
Patricia A.

Place isn't so bad my parents like it here, but I honestly don't. Food is okay, and I ordered a roll that said had caviar but didn't come with it. They said they just give masago. Also ordered vegan ramen bc I don't eat pork. I wanted the regular noodles but got the kale noodles. Asked about it and they said they can give me regular noodles for $3. To be fair you can faintly see the green noodles and I should've specifically asked for the regular noodles.

Great food, such a good spot to come eat in. Service is amazing always tending to your needs. You only spend about 30-45mins here even on packed nights.

So far, I haven't found it. Typically I order Bento Box Combinations, and sometimes specialty rolls. Sushi is a matter of personal taste, and I gave Yoshiharu Ramen a three overall for "OKAY". Don't get me wrong, I ate everything they served me, and it was all right. It just didn't WOW me. The restaurant is clean and looks nice. The service was good and my food was okay. There were a few minor things that annoyed me, but isn't it the little things that differentiate places that are great versus ones that are just good or okay? I ordered a diet coke, and they had no diet available. The miso soup (not pictured) that came with the meal was piping hot, but the flavor was not as good as others I have had. When they brought my chicken bento box, which included California Roll, there was no wasabi or ginger. I had to ask the waitress for wasabi, and then she said, "You want wasabi?" as if that was something unusual. Finally, my favorite sushi places have a list of items to choose from for their bento box. They may list 8 or 10 items and ask you to pick 2 or 3. At my other places I might choose, chicken and beef and a spicy tuna roll (vs California roll). Then you get those plus the soup, salad, etc. At Yoshiharu Ramen, it is a set list of items. You only get to pick a meat in the bento box (chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, etc.) Their other sushi or ramen may be terrific. So if you are nearby and want sushi or ramen, don't let me dissuade you. The reason I take the time to write a detailed review is so readers can understand MY criteria and why for me, this restaurant is okay, just not a 4 or 5 on my chart.

Very attentive, explained the menu, and gave solid recommendations. The restaurant is clean, spacious and clearly family‑owned, which gives it a warm, homey vibe. Mama's Kitchen is the real deal. It's not an all‑you‑can‑eat or cook‑your‑own type of spot. This is true Korean home cooking, made fresh by Mama herself in the kitchen. The name couldn't be more accurate. The menu offers a good variety of different dishes, which are big enough to share between 2 people. We ordered the Japchae and the Korean short ribs (Galbi), which came with steamed rice and five small plates of banchan. The dishes were the perfect amount for my mom and me to share. Everything was delicious. The Galbi was melt‑in‑your‑mouth tender, and the Japchae was seasoned just right with bulgogi and shiitake mushrooms. The banchans definitely hit the spot. I couldn't get enough of the fish cake, shredded daikon kimchi, and cucumber kimchi. The only thing I would suggest, is the size of their banchan! Their serving size were very small amounts. This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint. Mama even came out to check on us, welcomed us personally, and even took a picture with my Mama!! Overall I was quite pleased with our food, even my pickiest critic, my mom, gave it her official Mom's Stamp of Approval, so we'll definitely be back.

We ordered two chicken teriyaki bowls for the kids which they loved, two Out of Control rolls, one Popcorn Lobster roll, garlic edamame, and calamari tempura. Overall, my family thought the food was good. I personally thought it was okay, and for the amount we paid (~$120) believed we would have been better off going somewhere more "worth it". Our waitress was kind, but not very attentive. A lot of other diners seemed to be enjoying their food, so maybe it was just me having an off day. We were sadly disappointed. Ordering delivery shouldn't be an issue since sushi is a cold dish anyway, so there were no worries about delays affecting the meal. To be fair, the presentation was really nice. They provided about 10 little cups of sides like ginger, ponzu, and soy sauce, which we appreciated. However, the actual food was a massive letdown. We ordered two Spicy Tuna rolls, one Cajun Tuna roll, and one Protein roll. Right away, every single roll had an overwhelmingly strong, unpleasant fishy flavor. I order sashimi and fresh rolls all the time from other spots, and I know good sushi shouldn't taste like that. As for the Cajun Tuna roll, it had a decent-sized cut of fish, but it seemed like it was just lightly seared with absolutely no Cajun flavor to it at all. We could only stomach about half of the food before we ended up throwing the rest away. It honestly tasted like bad fish, and we just didn't feel safe eating it. At $20 a roll, spending $80 total, it was a huge waste of money that left us scrounging for decent food at the last minute just to save our date night. I really wanted to like this place, but we won't be returning.

There's something honest about a new sushi spot finding its footing, and Toro Sushi leans into that simplicity in the best way. No gimmicks, no overreaching, just clean cuts of fish, thoughtfully plated, and priced like they actually want you to come back. The sashimi (even the "small") punches above its weight, fresh, clean, no nonsense. You taste the ocean, not the freezer. That's already half the battle won. The sleeper hit here is the bento box. It's the kind of meal that reminds you value still exists, generous without being sloppy, filling without feeling like a compromise. The kind of plate that earns repeat business. Come in around 5:30 and it's still catching its breath. By 6, though, the place finds its pulse, busy, lively, the kind of energy you want in a neighborhood spot that's clearly starting to click. Service was kind, and quick, food came out decent too. The tempura shrimp and veggies was crisp and not too oily. The room itself? Polished. Modern. Spotless. Someone cares, and it shows. But like any place finding its stride, there are gaps. The men's restroom is a one-person situation, and if you've got a kid, you're out of luck, no changing table in the men's room, us millennial dads are not afraid of a poppie diaper. Not a dealbreaker, but a miss in a family-heavy area. Still, Toro Sushi doesn't try to be the loudest spot in the room, it just quietly does enough things right to make you want to return. And honestly, that's the kind of place that lasts.
